Visited your Truro store today, numerous staff members sitting about, not doing anything, other than ignoring me, then one brave chap comes up and engages me
‘let me guess, on your lunch break from building (I was wearing trade clothes) and come to have a look at a kitchen, or have you been sent down here by the mrs?’
Ok good effort if somewhat stereotypically sexist, but hey let’s move on….
We wander about and chat, quite helpful, right up till we get to what he describes as the most popular door style because of the angled rebates.
‘Women say it’s very easy to clean, you’d be amazed how often I talk about how easy these are to clean, especially as I’ve never cleaned a kitchen in my life’
I suggested he try it sometime before I left.

Nothing outrageous or massively offensive, just constant gentle sexism and more than I wanted to hear.

I lead men’s groups where we try to change the stereotypes, learn to do better.
I suggest some EDI training as a minimum 😁

My first experience with this company
" Wren Kitchens " was very good.from the moment I walked into the showroom, to having a survey done today. Ive yet to into the showroom to pick out the Kitchen I want. The surveyor was very pleasant. He was on time, gave me a call beforehand a real genuine chap. And we chatted about this and that while he took measurement of the Kitchen, which took about an hour to complete.
Next stage of my experience is next week by going into the showroom to see my kitchen come to life on the computer.

Wren planning and the understanding of our needs saw us with not a dream kitchen but definitely a better working one. I say this as we have pulled out an 8 year old kitchen to start again.
Delivery lads were spot on unfortunately at th suggestion of th salesman we didn't have most of the units left in the house this disgruntled wrens fitter who was arranged off th books.
There was no communication on when and what impact there would be for the likes of th sparky coming and power having to be off for hours at a moments notice when working from home.
Kitchen fitter did a splendid job but caught us off guard when he asked for 1.5k cash on day 3 no mention we were paying in cash.
Fridge had a fault which they sorted in days.
We had 2 additional pieces of kitchen we didn't need and with photos of th packaging and proof they weren't required a full refund was given although we are left to get rid of the same.
The worktops order was done incorrect which delayed things but got sorted.
Th refer a friend we are still waiting on well after they said it would arrive.
Overall a good kitchen

T marks was extremely professional throughout the visit and provided an excellent level of service. He was courteous, approachable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making the whole experience smooth and reassuring. What really stood out was how kind and patient he was with my son. He took the time to interact with him, making him feel included and comfortable, which was greatly appreciated. His friendly and caring attitude made a real difference, and he is a credit to the team.

M McCarthy was extremely polite and professional. Had a chat about plans and a general conversation, he was respectful in the house and all round pleasant to have working on the request

A very thorough measurement taken at our house by M Tomlinson. He was friendly and helpful.

Booked an appoinment turned up, was told we were so young what do we need a kitchen for. After we told her we didnt have the keys yet she lost interest wouldnt do it properly and ended the appoinment after 5 misn. Anyways went to Wickes who didnt care that we didnt have keys and had a great experenice with them and love the new kitchen.

Surveyor has just left. He was lovely. We got on well and he let me take him through my plans and ideas for best use of space. He checked out with me that he understood them properly and made some suggestions and observations which were all positive. He made very detailed plans which he explained to me. A very positive experience and a lovely man.
