Scam scam scam ! If it sounds too good to be true. It more than likely is. I actually feel embarrassed I fell into the trap. They tell you they’re not asking for the long card number and so no payments are being taken. So the sort code and account number is requested to set up for the payment and direct debit of £39! I wish I didn’t go along I was already suspicious when she had my personal details! Do not fall for this guys !

Strongly suspect this is a scam. Started with some flannel about me entering a competition for an electric bike and quoted my email, postcode and DOB. I became very suspicious when asked for my sort code and account number! I refused to give this and hung up, would advise you do the same.

Ha, SCAMMERS BE TRYING, Is anything ever feels off GOOGLE it, they just delete all personal info they hold of you at your request, never provide your payment details they will try and take you fir a rude, stay safe!

Lady called from 02045791571, saying I've been put through for a 500poind tesco voucher..(which I did half fill out and then realised this is bs, but they kept my details somehow) so she says also we are going to out you through for 60 lines for euromillions..for 39quid a month, I said I havent signed up to no syndicate im not interested in the lotto, she tried to say bye but I asked well what about my 500 tesco gift voucher.. she said the promoters will call me soon with details,,,, but she just called me to tell me about it.. told her your trying to extortion money from me, she said she's from the health lotto so I said ok il look forward to hearing about my tesco voucher..she said Goodluck and hung up . Ha crazy Sons of B's , reported and blocked!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I tried to cancel my 14 day trial to be charged anyway then told I have to play and pay for the next 3 months and give a month's notice to get out of it! They changed my log in details twice so i couldn't get in my account absolutely horrendous company do not trust them

I am usually clued up on scammers and their nasty tricks unfortunately I was caught out when they called because i was unwell they asked me to pick 4 numbers and 2star number they talked about entry into a free lotto and syndicate and as of next month I would be charged £39.00 per month and could cancel it at anytime and I have a 14day cool off period I would be contacted by email of my winnings and when it would be deposited into my account also they would send me my numbers and what we talked about re the lotto and syndicate via email I have not received any email from them.

Today after reflecting on this I looked them up online and saw they are scammers and taking £39.00 each month from others who they have scammed they were even able to tell me where my bank was located after asking the name of my bank they proceeded to ask for my sort number account number and the security number on the back.

After careful thought no legit company or organisation you speak to only ask for the long number on the card the expirey date and security number on the back of the card they never ask you your sort or account number. I have now changed my password on my account and informed the bank of what happened.

Please Please be mindful of these scammers especially now more than ever.

These people don’t give up, they phone every day at the same time, I have them on screened so no ring. Ridiculous….

Very very smart scammers, said they were calling from a landline in London I presume it changes all the time based on where you live near. I had entered a competition for a reebok treadmill a while back but I couldn’t remember who with. These folk had all my personal details at hand and seemed very convincing, they try to get you to accept free lotto lines every day for a 12 month period but request yer bank details to pay you your winnings if it occurs. I then realised it was a scam. Here’s the phone number they used this time 02845258133. Never give bank details over the phone. They called themselves world lotto.

Got the same call like everyone else, was told I’d won a Gillette razor
Then said I’d won lines for the euro lottery. I parted with bank details, then came on here and seen it was a bit of a con. I then phoned them and was told that I also need to send an email.
It was quite difficult to cancel as they kept trying to keep me in their system.
Eventually I managed to cancel my subscription. I never did get the Gillette razor. Read their terms and conditions.
Your numbers could come up and they could change their company name and not pay you anything except 1 penny.
These people need to get a real job.
My advice is play the lottery by yourself or in a syndicate with people you personally know and trust.
100,000 is a con when a syndicate of 150 people could win a rollover amount that could be 200 000 000 between 150 players

SCAM. Guy phoned me saying I had won a Boe Gin hamper competition which I do remember entering but at the time could not remember who with. He had my name, address and telephone number. He asked for my bank account details, asking for my sort code and account number instead of my long number on my card. He was trying to sign me up to a lottery syndicate to pay £39 a month.

Scam. They phoned me and gave me all of my details. They started asking for bank details and I told them to remove all of my personal information and to not call again. They put the phone down.

SCAM. Have cancelled my direct debit which they did not like to hear when I said that 1p is not deemed as a winning when lady on phone said need to win a minimum of £20. Luckily only paid one month. 1ce bitten 2ce shy.

Got a call from Worldlotts, very cleaver how they got my number & email - I entered a competition with a Premium Power Tool company on Instagram to win power tools. "Mike" who called said I only need your sort code & account number and NOT your long card number - please watch out for these A - holes

Just had a guy calling himself John Ramsey from First World Lottos ring me (the number he used was 02039369681), saying I'm one of 150 people to be chosen by Shein (who I have shopped with) to have a share in this fridays lottery, depending on the numbers picked. He kept asking for my account number and sort code. I repeatedly told him I wouldn't give any bank details out. He spoke fast and persistently, trying to push me into giving the details. He had my name, postcode, email address etc. He gave me an email address to contact to verify they are legitimate which didn't seem right as it didn't have .com or .uk on the end.
Eventually I hung up as it became clearer it was suspicious. DO NOT GIVE OUT SORT CODE OR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE.

I was an idiot who signed up to this 'scam'. I was called up as I had apparently won 10 free lottery tickets. I gave out my sort code and account number with my name and address. I didn't see this as an issue as this is given out when you want someone paying into your account. However, if they have your name and address they can setup a direct debit with your account. If you have an online banking app, you should be notified if a new direct debit is setup. If you miss this and they take money out, contact your back and you will be able to get a refund due to the Direct Debit Guarantee.

A woman called me this morning, says that her name is Claire Gray, and said that I would get 10 free tickets for Friday draws, and when she asked for my card details, I told her that I don't give out that information, as not sure it's not a scam, but she confirmed that my account number and sort code, is to put my winnings in, and to set up direct debit, for £39 per month, starting on the 25th March, and if I didn't win,after 3 months, I would get my money back, so I consent, as I know she couldn't set up a direct debit straight away, I then checked the company on Google, and realised it might be fake, so contacted my bank to me Ake sure they didn't access my account. They will wait to see if they collect any, but it's not set up at present. I will definitely cancel by email.

And they take your sort code and bank no.
HORRIBLE .
And you have to email to cancel the account ! Their customer service hotline is useless

Pressured by a Indian lady to give my sort code for something I didn’t apply for and could win X amount of money blocked the first number straight after she called me back again crazy!
