An amazing service. Arrived on time, packed quickly with no fuss. Went above and beyond to get my furniture in the new house - even the difficult items. Cheerful, polite and all goods packed carefully. Would def recommend (and cheaper than near competitors).

My move was a bit complicated since the household goods were split for destinations in 2 countries. From the start of contacting W&Y for their prices and terms follow-up was fast and clear, and I dealt with only 4 people there (plus the packers), each with their role. The first delivery was this week and the second is in port awaiting Customs clearance, both as expected.

Smooth and easy move. The team was helpful and got everything done without any issues. Would use again without doubt.

While the initial phone calls, quote and packing service were great, it all went downhill after that. I was asked to send the wrong paperwork, which would delay my shipment when it arrived, and then the agent missed my emails. Our shipping to Australia sat at UK docks for nearly two months before finally leaving the UK. On arrival in Australia, we had very little help or communication from the ‘local’ agent, Allied Moving Services, who were on the other side of the country. The incorrect paperwork I was originally asked for caused another delay, as did the lack of communication and the brief replies I received on the occasions when I did receive a response. The Customs and Quarantine inspection dates I received came and went, nothing was done on time, and more incorrect paperwork arrived. The icing on the cake was Allied Moving Services then asking me to sign a waiver indemnifying them of any damage to my possessions caused by ‘treatment’ by Quarantine. Absolutely not! My shipment left in one piece, and it should arrive in one piece.

I was quoted an 8-week shipment, we are now in the 17th week, and I’m still waiting.

We used Williams and Yates for a residential move, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. From the initial consultation to the final box being unloaded, the team were punctual, professional, and very efficient.
They handled all of our belongings with great care, ensuring everything was securely packed and transported without damage. The crew were courteous, well-organised, and clearly experienced, which helped make the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. Because let's face it, the whole moving process is stressful enough. We also took out their insurance cover which gave us that peace of mind.
Communication was clear throughout, and they were flexible and accommodating.

Shipment from the US to the UK could not have gone worse. Over 50% of the items delivered were damaged due to insufficient packaging although specifically requested proper packaging and crates beforehand. Insurance claim for all items damaged has taken nearly a year to get resolved and is still being delayed with underhand stalling tactics used by their Insurance partners. Date of Experience has been requested by Trust pilot, This is March 2024 until today 3rd April 2025
