From the first phone enquiry to the final delivery W&Y have been absolutely superb, especially our move co-ordinator, Maria R. I'm sure we've been far from the biggest shipments that Maria has dealt with, but she's kept us well informed at every stage, had excellent advice to help with the paperwork, and from the two lads in Az that collected and packed our stuff, to the lads that delivered it this morning in the terrible rain, I have nothing but thanks and praise. I would recommend W&Y to anyone.

The guys...Oldie, Jordan and Michael were veffi ie the quick and professional, but we're also pleasant and fun to have around.

International move from Vienna (Austria) to Hampshire UK.

From start to finish, I felt like I was in safe hands. The introductory zoom call was very meticulous, even sorting parking for us! On our moving day, I was really poorly but the boys handled everything so expertly I barely had to lift a finger. A hugggeeeee thank you to Alex, Ryan & Alan. Particularly Ryan went above and beyond to even install legs on my TV as my TV stand wouldn't fit into the new house. It is slightly more expensive than other but so worth the cost. No regrets!

Our experience with W&Y has been positive right from the start. Jake from the sales team was responsive and knowledgeable, and provided us with a fair quote (the price for the service provided was unmatched). Maria who handled the coordination was responsive and reassuring. On the day of the move, Ollie and Jordan were punctual, professional, and efficient - got the packing and loading done in an hour (was supposed to take about 3-4 hours).

We are now waiting for our shipment to arrive in our destination country. Hopefully it will all go well and arrive safely.

Williams & Yates arranged for all the details of transporting furniture, rugs, artwork and kitchenware from our flat in London to our home in the States. At every step, their team was wonderfully responsive and impressively professional. The process began with estimated expenses of the move, and once we'd signed on, they orchestrated packing our things in London, keeping us informed about progress of transAtlantic and cross U.S. transport and delivery/unpacking at the end. They also helped with the customs and insurance paperwork, which was greatly appreciated. Their team took excellent care of our things, which arrived in great shape. I would highly recommend this firm to others.

movers were precise, quick and very kind. Service was spotless and everything seemed very efficient.

Williams & Yates has been a really great company to deal with. All staff have been polite and helpful. The process from quotation to order booking was clear and quite straightforward. Our only slight criticism is the time to receive sailing dates has been longer than anticipated.

Jake Hill completed our booking and was super responsive to our communications.

Nikki Jones was absolutely brilliant at solving a collection issue we had & resolved it in record time for us. It made a very stressful situation much nicer!

Finally, our move manager Maria Rodriguez has been so very helpful & extremely patient as we've experienced a few hiccups (from our end, not Williams & Yates!). She has been a pleasure to deal with & we would happily recommend Williams & Yates to others. They really have gone above and beyond for us with complications we have faced.

We had a two day house move booked in. This is a five bedroom detached house for context.

Team arrived early on the first day, in an average-sized white van. Not the nice large branded vans shown on the website, clearly a subcontractor and a team of younger people. They started packing up and then said there was a problem because they ‘hadn’t seen’ the loft and the downstairs bedroom. This despite the sending over an inspector beforehand who took a video of the house to give an accurate quote.
I agreed to pay extra for another man for day 2. Not ideal and not my fault but obviously just wanted to get moved.
They did one run to the new house on the first day, finished work at 1:35pm and went home with at least 2/3 of the house still to be done.

Came back on day 2 and they were immediately stressed that they would have to make ‘more than one run’ in order to finish and made sure that we knew it
One of our beds wouldn’t come apart so they broke it to make it fit on the van, and then left it in the new bedroom in pieces.
Took forever attempting to put the beds back together and clearly weren’t skilled in this dept, delaying the entire move. We now have two beds that used to lift up with under mattress storage that now do not.
Sky Glass TV has scratches on the screen, but at least it ended up in the new house. Unlike the tv in my bedroom which they left behind because it wouldn’t fit on the van and would mean another run. ‘We’ll take the stand off do you and you can fit it in you car’. Yes. Great. Just what I’m paying nearly £4000 for.
Complained and was given the standard ‘fill in this form with all your details of the purchases of these items including receipts of the original purchases etc etc and we’ll put it to the insurance’. You’ll obviously have to pay the minimum as per the contracted terms’.
They harass you to get you to go with them and then drop you like a hot brick once the job is in motion.
Wouldn’t use again.

they helped us move a robot between locations. a relatively small item but easy to damage or break parts of it if not done carefully. experience with the moving crew was convenient and stress-free and done in 1.5 hours or so

The crew Ollie , Josh and Ed were wonderful, really helpful, nice and polite. It was really a smooth experience and definitely would recommend !! Thank you for making it so easy

I cannot praise this company and their staff enough. Emma Bunyan, my appointed caseworker for my move to Australia from the UK has kept me updated and informed throughout the entire process. In addition she was friendly and supportive throughout.

Alan, Louise and Myles, who were my removalist crew on the day were brilliant. They worked fast and efficiently and were very friendly and helpful and their skill and experience was clearly evident.

The stress of packing up my 20 years of living in the UK was certainly made much less stressful and easier by the fantastic level of service from all involved with my move.

If you need to move across town or across the world you will not go wrong if you use Williams and Yates, I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

The team that did the packing and moving from our UK house to Europe were amazing. Professional and friendly throughout the day! Shoutout to Dylan, Jordan, Alan & Kane!

Good communication but poor packing and refusal to take accountability for negligence. A large piece of art in a glass frame was wrapped and then put in a bike box 3x too big without labelling, ‘fragile’ tape or indication of contents. It wasn’t further stuffed to stop movement and definitely is not to industry standard. Those who further transported had no indication of its contents or fragility and it was moved as if it were a bicycle. The extent of damage was excessive and the hundreds of shards of glass scratched the piece to the point where it was ruined. They claim no liability and pointed to the fact I didn’t take out their additional insurance, which now knowing the increased price of the art to replace and the deductible would have seen me in the same predicament as I am now. This is my 3rd overseas move, and by far the worst experience.

William & Yates moved me from Warwickshire to Bedfordshire last Monday. The day was stressful but the staff were amazing. The day started off with Emma from the office calling to let me know who was coming and when. Dillon and his team arrived on time and packed up my home in no time at all. We then went down to my new home and the team waited patiently until we had the keys. Although it was a long day they left the same as they came smiling and extremely polite. I cannot fault the service from start to finish, highly recommend.

Smooth and efficient furniture move. 10/10. Crew members George, Myles, Alex & George are all incredible. Would recommend.

I recently visited Williams and Yates Shippers, who are assisting us with the shipment of goods to the USA. Up to this point, communication with the team has been excellent, and meeting them in person only reinforced our confidence. Maria, Martin, and Mark were all extremely pleasant, helpful, polite, and courteous.

We also want to acknowledge the team members who collected goods from our other locations — they, too, were incredibly kind, helpful, and caring throughout the process. Their professionalism and attention to detail have truly stood out.

The warehouses are new, very clean, and well-organized. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle our move at this stage. We highly recommend them. Thank You!!
