Was made to feel like a criminal by Wickes yesterday (Midsomer Norton), the awful woman on the counter was questioning a gift card/voucher (I had printed from email as directed on the voucher) and saying thinks like "With all due respect, you could have found this on the floor" - this is front of other customers & staff, obviously humiliating and embarrassing, I should've got her name to call her out, she was well over 60 years old so should know how to treat customers with respect. She was being deliberately awkward and didn't even apologise after the mess she had caused - I think she needs to be sent for more training.

I asked to speak to the manager who resolved it quickly & professionally - many thanks & credit to him

I entered the store and was immediately greeted by a wonderful little man who said he is called Reginald. He showed me what i wanted despite being interepted by a ginger woman. Overall great experience

We had an excellent kitchen planning appointment with Chelsea today. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the products and options available and had lots of very helpful input with ideas we had not thought of. She created an excellent plan for us and we never felt rushed, she took the time and had endless patience. She is a great asset to the store

Ive designed and built 2 wickes kitchens and both times gdad problems due to them giving me false information. I made it work.
Yesterday had a wickes kitchen app a i have such a small awkward kitchen I needed help.
Sophie was great. Knowledgeable friendly and helpful but felt very bad for her as I went knowing exactly what I wanted after having seen one of the wickes displays. I wanted the exact same set up. Sophie had to tell me that pretty much the whole display was no longer sold by wickes. Instead of taking it down or making it as obsolete, they've left it up with a small sign about the dishwasher, and left it for Sophie to inform people. Which she shouldn't have to do.
I was impressed with the range of units ie 300/450 etc which means I came away with a great plan. But based on cost and experience i think i'll mirror it elsewhere.

We visited the store in Midsomer Norton looking for a new downstairs bathroom. Chelsea, the design consultant, was brilliant; she took us through the whole process, giving us a range of options. The result of our consultation was a super representation generated by computer.

From the very first appointment when Sophie came to see us we felt very comfortable and confident in her interpretation of what we wanted from
a new Kitchen. Once ordered Sophie kept us informed and more importantly was there when we had questions. Our kitchen fitter Dennis was once again very open to our questions and he offered us options of how things could be better for us. Dennis worked miracles and like Sophie was always available to answer questions… they both gave us a wonderful customer experience and Wickes should be very pleased they have two great ambassadors! Thank you Sophie and Dennis!

I met with Gemma a kitchen designer at my local Wickes store in Midsomer Norton to discuss and plan a new kitchen
Gemma was a great help with her suggestions and input into the options available
After several amendments the plan was finalised and Gemma explained the next stages through to installation
I can only thank her for her patience and professionalism

I got refused to buy Kettle Descaler because I didn’t have ID on me as I was in a rush that day and didn’t take my handbag, but there is no legal age limit to buy kettle descaled in the UK. I only wanted to get some cleaner for my kettle and the woman serving embarrassed me in front of a queue of people. I am 27, for reference. Ridiculous honestly and lost a customer because of this. I have no idea why ID was requested for a cleaning product of all things. Ah well, Tescos over the road was more than helpful and my kettle is now clean, no thanks to wickes. Disappointing really as she could clearly see I was of age to buy it, even if there was a restriction, which there’s not, but she clearly enjoys having that little bit of power, which is really sad honestly.

Sophie was fantastic from start to finish even when we had the unexpected discontinued work surface we were gutted but she found us a replacement at a great price

I received excellent customer service from Chelsea Rowe. Chelsea was friendly, approachable, and went out of her way to help me find exactly what I needed. Everything was well explained, and she made the whole experience quick and stress-free. Looking forward to my new kitchen. Emma

Just had a new bathroom installed by the midsomer Norton branch very impressed with the designer Sophie Rogers nothing was to much trouble for her and she was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us also Courtney from customer care helped with a problem we had and sorted it out for us would recommend Wickes with the experience we had

We were looking for an integrated fridge freezer and from our initial conversation with Chelsea and on a second occasion with Daragh (Store Manager), the whole process through selection to buying was superb; they were helpful, professional, friendly - with a dose of humour too! Thank you.

Chelsea Rowe provided excellent advice and guidance both at home and in store. She is highly proficient in CAD-based kitchen design, and she is intuitive and empathetic. She is much more than a salesperson - she manages people and products with equal skill and, clearly, is a great asset to Wickes. The kitchen she has created with us and for us promises to be an excellent choice for our property.

I recently had my en-suite bathroom designed and installed by the team from the midsomer Norton store. Sophie understood my vision and Mike did an amazing job of installing it. I’m incredibly pleased in how it turned out and the quality of service I received from both Sophie and Mike. I will be heading back shortly for my new kitchen.

We are really appreciative that we have a great local business helping the community. The store manager was so helpful and friendly when supplying our school with new plugs, cable and screwdrivers. The staff are really friendly and helpful in this store.

Open until 20:00 means you can take transactions up until that time.
Whilst arriving to the store 5 minutes before closing, I managed to get the timber I required with ease, from the point of the store I expected to find it, and carry it to the till.
At the till, I asked the cashier with the headset on if Wickes sold any grey sealant, to which the answer was "the sealants are over there, but can you hurry up as we are closed now", I replied that I specifically asked for assistance precisely in order to be faster, knowing that clsong was imminent, but this fell upon deaf ears, as no confirmation of whether the product I was enquiring about was sold by Wickes, no affirmation that the product was then in stock in that store, or any actual assistance to help me "be faster" was given.
I grabbed some tubes, hopefully the right ones, made the purchase with the timber, and swiftly left.
The cashier didn't have a name badge on, and the reciept does not give any names of the server, but it does confirm that the transaction was completed and printed by 20:00, so I really did not appreciate the attitude from the cashier.

Both Sophie (our design consultant) and Dennis (our installer) were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful and lovely to work with. Really pleased with our new kitchen. Not so impressed with the Customer Care team!

Really well ran store and all the staff are great and always happy to help.
We now use the store daily and prefer this to other outlets.

I popped in to Wickes Midsomer Norton on 21/02/25 and picked up x3 100L bags of bark and when at the till the cashier asked if I needed help with getting it in to my car. I accepted her offer and a guy gladly helped me. He wheeled my trolley over, loaded my car and put the trolley back. Excellent customer service!! Thank you
