I've sent 2 emails to Waterpik and not heard anything back.
Travel version nothing like as good as the home version
On the home version, MASSES of black mould came out - YUK

I bought this product and was so disappointed it was clearly inferior to cheaper versions. I wrote a review on their website and they blocked it! Do not buy this product you will regret it.

After many years of extensive use, my Oral-B AquaCare finally stopped working. I decided to try a Waterpik product, and unfortunately, I deeply regret that decision. The product stopped working after just three months, and despite being under warranty, I received no response from their customer service.

To make matters worse, I purchased it directly from a dental exhibition my wife is a dentist so I expected a higher level of quality and support. Sadly, that was not the case. I strongly advise others to stay away from this product. It’s not only poorly made, but the complete lack of customer service makes it even more disappointing.

Bought 3 water flossers All of which were faulty. The process of having to answer several questions and answer several e mails is exhausting.

Why they cannot sort things out with a telephone conversation is beyond me.

I am still waiting for a resolution, but would not buy their products again

We brought a new waterpik last chrismas to this day I have no luck with their customer service as the parts that actually floss your teeth are missing so we only have the body of the pik. Absolutely unbelievable

4 Waterpiks in last 5 years have all broken. From not turning on, to not pumping, to not charging. I don't know why I kept thinking the next new model is going to be better. They never are. They're so bad I actually expect them to break now. But that doesn't make it any less frustrating. Disgraceful company and I will never buy one again.

Water hose split after three years and cannot be repaired.
It would be useful if the hose could be replaced!

New product much worse than older version. Also company seems totally incompetent in dealing with product support and covers up negative comments.

Had issues with brand new Waterpik. My phone calls to helpline were not answered and emails were returned as server not being recognised. Impossible to return. Waste of money.

Broke after 2 years, conveniently just out of warranty the on/off button stops working. Submit the warranty form but they won’t replace it because it’s out of warranty. It’s a lot of money for something Waterpik expect to break after 2 years. It’s obviously a known problem as it was a drop down option when submitting the warranty form.

Waterpik has stopped working after less than 3 years. I don’t feel this is acceptable. I recommended my sister to get one and hers stopped working after one year.

Customer Service was good initially. I phoned them a short while after I purchased the Waterpik because I had a question (cannot remember what it was now) and the young lady I spoke to represented her company so well which is why I was so impressed and told my sister what a good company Waterpik are, very helpful. I take it all back now because it has all changed, There is no customer Service and calls are not answered. Well, they are answered and all the automated spiel given and after that call is cut off! This is after I have selected my option 1, 2 or 3. This didn’t happen once or twice it happened 4 times so it is obvious that calls are not being accepted.

I have also heard that mould collects inside these devices but no response from Waterpik. Still they only appear to last 2 or, if very lucky 3 years! I live in a very soft water part of the UK so it is not about mineral deposits. Nobody to speak to at Waterpik about this. I have emailed on their website asking them to call me today but nothing yet.

It seems yet another company that has no customer service and not really bothered about their customers. Discarding all these Waterpik after a few years is not good for the planet - or my pocket!

Since buying this device, I was troubled by how difficult it is to clean the internal crevices of the reservoir as black mould starts to form (and survives the dishwasher) but I have now discovered a much more worrying problem. When I turned the device upside down and activated it, there was a discharge of a lot of black mould deposits. This obviously came from the internal tube which delivers the water and where it must have been residing for a long time.

Every time I have used the device, the water has been travelling through this. I stopped using it immediately as I know black mould to be a serious health hazard. There is no way to see this rotten build-up, let alone clean it and it represents a serious design flaw. On close inspection, You can see small black deposits that end up in the sink!

Eventually (12 months later), the manufacturers agreed to replace the reservoir but this does not help with the narrow internal tubes that are hidden and completely inaccessible. When I took the device apart, the tubes were full of black mould! As the tubes will always be left wet inside, this is always going to happen. I have consistently cleaned the product as advised but the suggested method of cleaning with vinegar has no effect on the mould whatsoever.

Waterpik have been extremely unreasonable in achieving any kind of resolution and have shown no signs of concern.
In my opinion this product is hazardous and should be recalled.
AVOID!

We dropped our Waterpik and broke the reservoir - at the time spares of these weren't available to order online, but Waterpik sent us one free of charge. Many thanks for this great and generous customer service!

The blue charging light displays a low charge for a few seconds and then goes out, leading me to think the item isn't charging.

Good customer service until I requested a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Edit: I've since been offered a refund or a replacement, so I'll take the refund.

My waterpik , still in warranty, has gone wrong. I could not get the online warranty form to work so I then tried sending them an email using the email listed on their site. This email does not work.
We are not in the UK to phone them so it will be difficult to sort this out before the warranty runs out.
What sort of company makes it this difficult to contact them with problems downloading online and incorrect email addresses?

My wife bought a Waterpik which she was very pleased with. Unfortunately it stopped working in just under a year. I contacted the company and they were very helpful (I provided a receipt and order number) and did not have my model in stock (they said it would be 4 or 5 weeks) so they sent me a much higher priced model. Excellent customer service and obviously a very happy wife. These flosser, incidentally, are excellent and very effective. Thank you😌

I just purchase a water pik combination package of a plug in ultra plus and a corldess pearl model. On page 9 i read that when the battery inside this unit no longer holds a charge, customers are forced to throw out the unit and buy a new one,. There is a name for that. It's called planned obsolecense. I recommend that you DO NOT buy this product from Waterpik.
Such decision are the only way consumers have any effect of how corporations choose to do business.

That decision qualifies them as a money hound. I cleaned up my characterization of Waterpik so that this review might pass editorial review.

I wanted to buy some replacement tip for my WaterPik, but their confusing and badly designed online store didn't list any as being compatible with my flosser. I phoned customer services and was told which tips to order. I pointed out these weren't listed as being compatible with my flosser, but told "they will fit, our website is out of date and we're having it updated". The tips arrived and are incompatible. Grrr. Painful process trying to order from them and customer services are a joke. Avoid this dodgy company.

Bought the WF-10UK water flosser from Argos, but the product broke down in less than 1 year of infrequent use. The motor inside would just hum and do nothing else.

The product itself suffers from other major design flaws too, such as the battery charger having bad contact and disconnecting constantly. As well as the water bottle being way too small, requiring multiple refills for a single wash. The product frame itself has too many crevices and odd angles, making it difficult to clean without specialised tools.

Literally any other brand would do a better job. Never try this company again. Just a waste of money and an irritating experience. You would regret if you bought it!!

Bought a new water pik and noticed that there was no cover on the charging point! On my old version the cover came off and the connectors became wet and corroded and hence wouldn’t charge! I emailed water pik a week ago and to date no response! If this is their intention not to cover the charging point then this is definitely a bad design change !!
