Start of my season on Sunday 1st October and phoned a lot of angling centres local shops etc to get a seat box and back rest sorted, wasn’t having any luck for at least a fortnight to three weeks, luckily I spoke to Danny this morning and not only has he sent me both items for a great deal he’s also going to fit the rest to box and post it first thing Monday morning 👍🎣

Have used Veals a few times to order things from terminal tackle to tripods. Had an issue with an item and when I added a note to an order they came good with a replacement. Superb service, was good to know they read the note and acted promptly

Ordered a new rod at the weekend which was delivered promptly. Didn’t check it properly and took labels off. A bit later noticed 3rd eye was distorted and lining missing. Rang Veals and spoke to Vicky, within a short time called back, replacement rod on its way, no arguments! Rod arrived next day, damaged one collected.
5* customer service, it is not how good a company is when all is well, it is how good they are when things aren’t quite right that sets them apart.

Placed substantial orders over the past couple of years, staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable, if they haven’t got it listed they can always get it, prices are always the best, if not they match. Great company highly recommended.

Top service and follow up. Plced order yesterday and it arrived today. Listing said the reel came with a spare spool but it arrived without. I emailed telling them and Andy (the owner) came back saying he had checked and the spare was missing from all of his stock and, as he had used the makers listing details, he had chased them to be told that they knew of the problem and had none to send!
Showing 1st class customer service, I was immediately offered a full refund or a reasonable credit note as compensation.
Naturally I took the 2nd option as I do not see why a good business should be punished by such poor service from their supplier.
Will be sure to return to them and to make sure I spend way more than my credit.

First order I've placed with Veals. Website was Easy to use and and they had stock of all items that I wanted. Delivery was quick too.
The supplier that I've previously used (AD) has a carriage free price of £16 which is attractive, but they were out of stock on several items that I wanted.
I would buy from Veals again.

useless website, if you try to add something to your basket from the sale area, you cant unless you join VMO, v annoying so dropped the entire basket.

Brilliant Veals. After ordering a reel with another company i found out 3 days after sale it was out of stock(advertised in stock and had been for a month). Requested refund and ordered off Veals, 2 days later and i have my reel. Thank you for fantastic customer service and easy transaction.

Excellent experience - price, quality and delivery.

I have used Veals for over 30 years, going to back to before they separated the mail order side from the shop! They have, without exception, sent the items ordered in full and promptly. The quality has always been excellent. In terms of terminal tackle, line and accessories I don't bother looking anywhere else - everything I need in one place, easy to find on the website or the catalogue. Recommended 100%.

About time I wrote a Veals review. I've been using them for what must be over 10 years and have placed many many orders with them.

They have never ever let me down and delivery is always very fast and there prices are on the whole, very keen. As an example they were retailing bubble floats at 50p a pop, cheaper than anything on online auction sites.

I tested them on my last purchase-a pair of fancy vass waders-which developed a split on the sole. They arranged a replacement without question or quibble, for which I am very grateful!
