I had to chase very hard for the timely delivery of the car. It wasn't V4Bs fault but the supplier. However as a customer I shouldn't have to chase up your suppliers.

Extremely disappointing experience
I ordered a white Abarth 600e Competizione from V4B on 12 May 2026, after being told to expect delivery around August.
What followed was a series of contradictory and incorrect updates. On 9 June, I was told the car had been built and was awaiting shipment. On 2 July, I was then told there had been an administrative error and that the car was still awaiting build.
After repeatedly chasing for updates, I was given a build week of 27 July. On 28 July, V4B told me my car would be delivered on 6 August and even provided registration information. The email also contained another customer's personal email address.
The following day, V4B admitted the email had been sent in error, was intended for another customer with the same first name, and that my car wasn't actually ready.
The promised August delivery never happened, and I eventually cancelled the order after losing confidence in both the process and V4B.
V4B have agreed to waive the £300 cancellation fee, but have repeatedly refused to refund the separate processing fee. I have therefore started a credit-card chargeback and contacted the Financial Ombudsman Service and ICO regarding my concerns over the apparent data-protection breach.
In my experience, the combination of contradictory information, repeated errors, lack of reliable updates and refusal to refund the processing fee has been extremely disappointing.
I would not order a vehicle through V4B.

This is the 2nd time I have used V4B and each time they have met my expectations and secured me the right car.
Staff are very friendly and efficient. Any issues are rectified immediately. I will certainly be using them in the future.

My ‘in stock’ available in 3-4 weeks is now pushed back for the 4th time 12+ weeks late and don’t actually believe it will arrive then either. You are at their mercy and consumer law in the uk is failing every person that orders that the only answer you get is tough luck. Don’t trust their lead times.

Andy made the whole experience very easy! Within an hour of my request he was in touch and running through all the details and was very knowledgable and then within the same day had sent over the quotes I’d requested.

Then was past over to Steph again an absolute ⭐️ star was so helpful and nothing was to much trouble wether it was phone calls or emails, if I employed these ladies I’d be over the moon !!
So from start to finish I was more than happy with the service even down to Eddie that delivered my vehicle, unfortunately for Eddie when he left my home he was never seen again, isn’t that true Steph 🤣 !!!

Just leased a car through V4B. Right at the start they were exceptionally professional in being clear on delivery time expectations (no false promises to get the sale), pricing and any other questions. Broker Fee Up front or they wont work with you
Bought many contract hire cars over the years but the broker fee is always taken once finance is approved and the car is ready for delivery. Not with these guys - the first thing they do before anything once you have shown interest in a car is to send you an invoice for the broker fee. Unless you pay it they wont proceed with applying for finance or getting you a car. For any reason you are refused finance or change your mind thats your £300 gone! I changed my mind as found out the car I wanted to buy had a very bad electric range they were happy to cancel the order but there was no refund of this fee. Its simple greed.

The processing fee was taken after the order form was signed, confirming your instruction for us to proceed with sourcing the vehicle and preparing the necessary documentation. Please note that finance approval is secured prior to the order form being signed; the processing fee is not required in order for us to submit or obtain a finance decision.
Once the order form is signed, the processing fee covers the administrative work, time spent securing the vehicle, liaising with the supplier, and preparing all required paperwork.
When you later decided to change your mind, we were of course happy to cancel the order. However, as the work had already been carried out, the processing fee is non-refundable, in line with the terms agreed at the point of order. We can also confirm that our account manager did their best to help find an alternative vehicle for you and continued to assist even after the original order was cancelled.
We’re sorry to hear that you feel you did not have a good experience. We understand that every customer’s expectations may differ based on previous experiences with other brokers, but our process and charges are clearly outlined from the beginning.
