Support and follow up of student assisstant

For me, having the opportunity to enrol on the Business Psychology programme at the University of East London through UNICAF has been an extremely positive experience. I had previously studied at two traditional brick-and-mortar universities in the UK, and I can say that the quality of teaching and the support I received from the teaching staff and student services were absolutely comparable.

I would like to stress that, unlike some of my previous experiences where the tutors were often young doctoral students with little experience, the majority of the tutors I had through UNICAF had a doctorate from prestigious British universities and a solid academic career. Some were even teaching at the University of Nicosia, which testifies to their expertise.

As with any programme, there are pros and cons. Most of the courses are online and self-guided, a format that may not suit everyone. But that in no way justifies the criticism sometimes levelled at UNICAF or its partners, who are committed to making higher education accessible to people who would not otherwise be able to afford it, thanks to their scholarship programmes.

As far as I'm concerned, whenever I've had questions about the course content, my tutors have always replied quickly and professionally. It's true that I would have liked to have had more video lessons, but given that I receive a bursary covering 88% of my costs, this never really bothered me. I'm sure the 300-plus students who have graduated last year from UEL thanks to UNICAF would agree.

Every time I look at the fees for international students, I realise how lucky I have been and I thank UNICAF for this unique opportunity. I was able to complete my programme in just under a year and a half.

This has been hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had in higher education. The learning experience is awful. There are no video lessons, no interactions with a teacher whatsoever. Just poorly written weekly topics and a ridiculous about of text books or journal articles. I’ve experienced courses that the coursework was not even in the correct order (and what I brought this up to the tutor, he said he couldn’t do anything to fix it). The support team is poor and impersonal. They do not care to help you. The assessment are honestly stupid. One essay due week 4 and another in week 8. They do not actually test your knowledge of course material, just a random essay. You will not learn anything valuable with Unicaf. Save your money, go somewhere else.

The level of customer care is top notch. Its just incredible. Convinient methods for instruction among others

The company is doing well especially Mrs Abiola Aroyehun ,her communication skill is top notch , I really appreciate her patience ,for her words of encouragement, very calm has a listening ear .
