Issues a £25 parking fine with a 14 day…
Issues a £25 parking fine with a 14 day grace period before it increases to £50, I was on holiday when the fine was issued and returned after the 14 day deadline, I paid the £50 and complained that their short grace period was unfair, I had a reply informing me that " the matter was settled ".
The public needs to be protected from companied like these , it's legalised fraud .
At the beginning of February I received a letter from HM Court & Tribunal Service with a notification that my case Not Parked Correctly was referred to the court
At the beginning of February I received a letter from HM Court & Tribunal Service with a notification that my case Not Parked Correctly was referred to the court. I do not understand why you did this despite the detailed explanation of what happened. My actions in the parking lot did not under any circumstances restrict other participants in your parking (which is why parking markings are applied). Although in this case the markings were applied absolutely beyond common sense, and I am sure that it was not according to the rules for parking markings, a place where 2 cars can park, you applied markings for 3. This looks like a trap for subsequent fines. In the outer 2 parking spaces there are 2 columns which reduce the width of the already excessively narrow parking spaces. I can repeat the explanation of my situation: when I arrived at this place in the left parking space, due to its small width, (there was a column) the car practically drove over the line dividing us. Due to the impossibility of opening the passenger door, with my 68 eight-year-old wife with sore legs, I had to drive onto the line behind which there was no parking space (various construction materials have been lying in this place for years), logically thinking that I would not disturb anyone, but on the contrary, I would allow the driver of the car on the left to get behind the wheel without hindrance - if I stood exactly on the spot limited by the lines, the driver of the left car would not even be able to open his driver's door. I found myself in this situation a month later, when I parked in the middle space, and when I returned I saw that I could not get into my car - the distance between my car and the cars that arrived after me on the left and right was 10 cm. I had to wait more than two hours until the driver of the right car returned (I have a photo). I am ready to defend common sense in court, but I think that you also have common sense and will still withdraw your claim (taking into account all the circumstances).
With respect

Total Shambles of a company
This company does not respond to evidence or emails. Continuing to harass and levy debt charges where the car is registered to be legally. I shall be raising to the The Financial Conduct Authority and to the people responsible for placing UKPC in control of this car park. A total shambles of a company.
Payed the reduced price of £60 pound…
Payed the reduced price of £60 pound then trying to charge me £170 saying I haven’t paid even though I showed proof
Shocking appeals process
Shocking appeals process. Wife has blue badge and whilst old one had expired we were waiting for the new one and she parked in a disabled spot. Appealed the charge, sent a picture of the new blue badge when it arrived and they still want to charge us but reduced it as a gesture of good will. I don't think they know what good will is, too bothered about profits and praying on people
Is This Even Legal?
I went to take some photos one day. It said a controlled parking area till 5pm. I didn't see a traffic warden, so I moved my car a few spaces away so that I can see it.
UKPC has charged me two tickets in the same area. I emailed them through their website to let them know that it was an oversight in their part and I'd happily pay for the ticket but even though they said 28days, they never responded to my appeal. Next thing, I received a letter from DCBL stating that I owe £170. I sent an email and they said that I have to go through the website (again) but when I went there, now the website states that I can't appeal.
How can a company state on their website that they will respond with 28 days but didn't? Passed on my details to a third party and then have no way to rectify a situation that is their mistake in the first place?
It feels like they didn't respond on purpose. These companies and owners will not exist much longer, you can't treat people like this. I only gave it one star because I can't put ZERO.
Disgusting daylight robbery
Disgusting daylight robbery. Parked slightly out of bay in Lyme Green retail park, Macclesfield (it was virtually empty) signs with their so called terms and conditions are only displayed on a few posts and images/writing are so small you have to be right up close to be able to see them. Received a massive £100 fine letter through the post having parked slightly out of bay rushing to get clothes for my Mum who is in a nearby care home with advanced alzheimer (not that your company care). How kind they were to allow it be reduced to a huge £60 if paid within 14 days again disgusting. Companies like yourselves should be ashamed of themselves in my eyes, feeding off unsuspecting shoppers and forcing retailers to lose customers and pay higher rents. UKPC you truly are an embarrassment of a company.
Scum bags the LAW is all wrong people…
Scum bags the LAW is all wrong people sit in offices taking money off the innocent. Online shopping is the way to go then the commercial premises will wonder why their business is going down the pan. A FREE CAR PARK Is NO LONGER FREE
Cowboys!!!
My wife had her front tyre turned onto the line in a near empty car park and gets a £100 fine (reduced to £60 if paid early).
Cowboys whose purpose is to rob drivers of their hard earned cash.
Fraudsters
Received a threatening letter today saying this was their second letter to me and now my charge is £170 with no appeal option. How can I appeal or pay the reduced fee considering this is the first time hearing from you !
Parked at an out of town shopping centre to do some Christmas shopping and had brunch etc no clear visible signs staying there is a time restriction. Scam tactics
Despicable crooks
These are despicable crooks taking money from old age pensioners for a petty parking infringement. I received a ticket for parking my car with the wheels just over the yellow lines of a space in a virtually empty car park in a massive shopping centre. I was taking a friend who was suffering badly from cancer Christmas shopping. Her mobility was very poor and she needed a fully open door to exit the car which resulted in me parking the car slightly over the bay line. I appealed the ticket and explained this but these scum bags were not interested. I cannot believe that this petty minded company are allowed to trade without regulation. Its totally about money to them.
Total CRIMINALS
Total criminals. This company wrongly issued a parking fine to me, they have bulled me and intimdited me with threats of legal action since June 2024. I have provided the evidence how they are incorrect and they have now threatened me with a court proceedings.
I am registered disabled and have recently undergone major surgery and they just want to add further stress and worry.
SCUM.
SCUM.
Did their very best to bully and intimidate my Wife over an 8 month period to pay a falsified parking fine.
We refused to pay and the court date was set for 3/3/25.
Received an email today confirming they will not be attending court and will be dropping the falsified charge. Do not be intimidated by this scumbag criminal outfit. Problem is that most people are and they make millions from their intimidating and bullying tactics.
I parked with a rear tyre a little over the line.
I parked with a rear tyre a little over the line and got a fine for £100 (reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days). I had no idea that this could be a reason for a fine, I only checked to make sure it was free on another notice. so unfair, they are just ripping us off.
Sharks
Wish they offered no stars.
No ticket 28 days latter a letter requesting £170 as no payment had been made, had no indication there had been an issue parking over a line 300mm onto an area pedestrians walk, where spaces are so narrow you are unable to exit the car
Another UKPC victim here.
Another UKPC victim here.
I parked in the Pentagon shopping…
I parked in the Pentagon shopping centre, Chatham, I was issued a parking fine, even though I knew I had paid. I disputed this but they still issued me the fine. I paid the fine and then received another note to say I actually had made payment and there was a problem with the processing of the machine. However, trying to appeal and get back to £60 I had paid has taken months and still no money returned to me. Terrible company.
A very unfair experience
A very unfair experience, especially considering their charitable efforts and emphasis on good values. I paid for parking and entered an incorrect registration number. I called them immediately while in the car park to no answer. I emailed them explaining my mistake, and they responded, saying that I would not receive a PCN and that their system had been updated! I was subsequently sent a PCN. When I tried to inform the collection agency, they said it was too late and that I must pay, I received no further reply from them. I have since been given a County Court Judgement (CCJ). I received the letter with the court date the day after it was scheduled, so could not attend anyway! I have sent them an email yesterday asking for them rectify the situation, to which they have responded saying they aren't helping remove the CCJ! Absolutely disgusting treatment, which is genuinely putting me at risk of homelessness as I cannot get another tenancy due to this CCJ being on my record! Over a £6 parking ticket WHICH I PAID FOR AND WAS ASSURED WOULD NOT A RECEIVE A PCN FOR!
Predatory Parking Fines – Avoid This Retail Park!"
First, I have to put 1 star, as they won't publish this, but I give this disgusting company ZERO STARS.
UK Parking Control is a LEGALISED SCAM. I received a parking fine for something as trivial as not parking perfectly between the lines of the bay. Seriously, who inspects every single detail of their parking when visiting a retail park? Instead of focusing on maintaining the car park or providing a welcoming environment, they seem more interested in issuing fines for the most ridiculous reasons, It's just a money making racket, basically its "STEALING BEEN MADE LEGALISED".
This level of enforcement is petty and shows no consideration for genuine customers. I will "NEVER" shop at Rom Valley Retail Park again, and I urge others to do the same. If they want to support this type of predatory behavior, they don’t deserve your business. Take your shopping elsewhere and save yourself from being robbed .
Why isn't UK Parking Control Ltd being investigated??. This company should be investigated.
I parked in a blue badge area and…
I parked in a blue badge area and forgot to display my badge so I received a ticket and appealed. I have to admit the pictures online were very clear but when I sent proof of my badge and explained, by then the fine was £100, they reduced it to £20. Overall, they played quite fair.
