What a con!!!
Was really excited to see so many cars on their website (uploaded recently) for £3999 and £4999. Drove all the way to Coventry to be told that they have all been sold! What a con!!! Nothing for under £8000. Very very disappointed- shouldn’t they be done for false advertising????

Awful, awful, awful. You have been warned
OK, so where to start. Get yourself comfortable.
First off, I bought a Citroen C3 in August 2025. Even at that point I had reservations as the first one i looked at was over £9000 and when I opened it up, the boot/hatchback was riddled with rust as was the underside of the petrol tank opening.
Then looked at a second one, no rust but the entire floor, back seat, passenger shelf and central part near the gearstick and handbrake was covered in a thick layer of green mould!
Finally settled on a 3rd one as this was the car I wanted.
Did all the paperwork (staff on that part were fine, but tried to make me complete everything and come back to collect the car at 8.45pm that night. Collected next day and all seemed ok.
Within 3 days I was driving to work and the car spluttered, the engine warning light came on and it stopped. I managed to restart and pull over to the side of the road. After 10 mins I got going again and the light had gone off, but to be safe I drove straight back to Trade Centre Coventry.
Explained what had happened, wasn't too concerned as I had a 28 day warranty. They looked it over while I sat in store for 3 hours and then called me back to the office. It was determined that the 02 sensors needed replacing and a part of the catalytic system. Booked it in but was told "COMPLETELY SAFE TO DRIVE"
Next day, driving back from a hospital appointment, the engine light came on again, lost all power, steering, brakes EVERYTHING while in the middle lane of the M6 at 60mph. Had to sit there for 10 mins with my hazards on, terrified of getting smashed into, before the car would start again.
Eventually started and limped back to Trade Centre (stopped twice more) and explained what had happened...barely a flicker on the after sales staff members face. After a discussion, they took it in but told me they had no courtesy cars "due to the large number of vehicles in for repair"
2 days later after many MANY discussions, I was told there was a courtesy car. Went to collect it...they couldn't find it!! after an hour of looking it was determined they had given it to someone else. Got one 2 days later. Then heard NOTHING for 7 weeks despite calling, emailing every other day. Finally lost my patience, went in and demanded to speak to a manager. he disappeared for an hour before returning to tell me there was a further warning light showing front sensor damage and said there were ongoing discussions between theur workshop and their insurer over who should pay as they tried to say I had had an accident and hit the front of the car!!
At that point I demanded a full refund OR the choice of a new car at the same deal agreed previously. They agreed to the latter.
So...in November I chose a new Ford Focus ST. Looked great, lovely condition. No issues. Took delivery.
THREE DAYS LATER..engine warning light! back down, diagnosed as "02 sensors and catalytic converter issue" Sound familiar?! Even though their apparent 99 point check showed the 02 sensors had been replaced before I took ownership. OK, so they fixed it inside of 24 hours. All had seemed ok.
For 3 months however the alarm kept going off and the boot and bonnet open warning lights kept going off. Was advised to get a new stop start battery (as that never worked either) so £180.
Problems kept happening, they eventually agreed to replace bonnet latch.
I also needed 4 new tyres (£440) within a month of driving despite being told 2 had been replaced when I bought it.
Fast forward to a few days ago, oil light and engine light on again. Got it diagnosed at a Ford dealer (£90) and they told me the Wet Belt was stretched and worn, and should have been replaced over 2 years ago.
Its currently in for repair at a cost of £1470 for a new wet belt. However, once taken apart the mechanic told me the Turbo had broken and looked like it had been done for well over a year - so missed on their 99 point "check" and also one of the heat plates was broken and should have been easily noted on any basic check.
On top of the wet belt the turbo will cost £585 to replace and a further £100+ for a heat plate. All told, a car that cost me £8000 will now have also cost me nearly £2500 in repairs in the space of 7 months.
I know this is all very long winded but I urge anyone looking to purchase from the Trade Centre to literally avoid AT ALL COSTS. You are a customer, no more, the after sales is a disgrace and the majority of their vehicles are deathtraps. Please, with all sincerity...avoid buying a car from here.
Jordan has helped me in final overview…
Jordan has helped me in final overview of the car and well presented about the warranty and also well explained about the process of getting into service. He also helped in migrating my current insurance to my new car
