Overcharge postage, be careful
Made an order on Friday last week for a Saturday delivery. Office closed during weekend (poor service opening times).
Today is Monday, delivery still in progress.
Contacted support, they confirming twice that i have choose wrong delivery slot by attaching a screenshot. Refused to refund £8.95.
Will avoid them as Dewalt Nail Gun required for specific date to be work on Sunday.

As we have previously discussed with you by email, and you have confirmed this in your review, that you have chosen 'next working day AM' delivery, not Saturday delivery. Weekends are a separate option and do not class as a working day. Had you chosen Saturday delivery it would have arrived at the weekend, but the goods left us Friday and we have followed the delivery you chose, which shows your order has been delivered this morning.
We understand that you are frustrated, but it is very unfair to review us so negatively, when we have not done any errors, or caused any delays to your delivery.
We should not be made to refund a delivery charge when it was chosen by yourself at the point of ordering your goods on our website.
We will always be the first to rectify any errors made on our part, and even if you had notified us of the error on Friday, we would have done everything possible to amend the delivery for you once we were made aware, but sadly you have only got in touch with us this morning (16/12) and the goods were already with the driver, and on track for the specified timeline.
Our delivery options are made as clear as possible during the checkout process, and we also have a dedicated page relating to these options on our site. https://www.toolstoreuk.co.uk/information/86-delivery-info,
Once again, we are disappointed you feel this way, but on this occasion, we have fulfilled the next working day option that you chose and its unfortunate that this wasn't correct.

Good tools and not very good service
Positive:
- Superfast next day free delivery on my order.
- Safe packaging.
- Official Makita dealer.
Negative:
- One of 4 items - 18V battery arrived functional but damaged body. Two defects probably caused by dropping the item. Also multiple scratches. Could not been damaged during shipping because package had plenty of wraps.
- The ToolStore UK site does not tell you when it logs you out. I started browsing the site being logged in. By the time I paid for my order I was loggged out, therefore no history of my order in the account, moreover, no invoice available to extend Makita 3yrs warranty.
- Beware of the prices. For some items you may get a very good deal, other items price is way higher than market average.

Heavy Duty Shelving
Great experience from placing my order, confirmation, updates and delivery. These sturdy heavy duty shelves are so easy to assemble as I'm a returning customer. If you don't want to have to get tools out but want shelving that looks good and is very long lasting, no rusting. If you haven't ever tried these heavy duty shelves, place an order and try them you will not be disappointed.

Not what I ordered, but they say otherwise
I ordered a Dewalt DS300 box (Now superceeded by the 2.0 version). This comes as stated on the Dewalt website with an inner tray which I particularly wanted.
What I got was some left over box from the Dewalt DCK664P3 Set. Even has some of the foam for the tools left in.
It is the same box technically BUT NOT got a tray as per the DS300.
ToolStore say none of their "DS300" boxes in stock have a tray in them. Is that because they are NOT DS300 but other boxes? ( I have picture as proof but unfortunately cant attach)
