I have ordered two scorpions and one colony of isopods (magic morphs) from these guys plus their different substrates, leaf litter and equipment (tongs,rock, water bowls ect). I cannot fault them. Even when my delivery of isopods turned up with massive dents in the packaging they were very helpful and even asked to be updated on their health once settled in their new home, when told a few had died they offered to send out another colony in my next order and so they did too, very thankful. They turned up with my second scorpion (nebo, always wanted one). My two nippers are settled in really well and are in perfect health. Absolutely love the scorpion cave of their own design and it was a blessing to see no mould lines or extra resin bits to dremel off, which seems to be the norm now with a lot of companies. The substrate is AWESOME. My hetrometrus loaticus especially loves the forest substrate and the arrid stuff is worth it weight in gold, my Scorpio Marus can now dig stunning burrows and not have it collapse and I don't have to mess around with drying excavator clay, bonus!

Spider never arrived. They blame me for the cock up of the royal mail and refuse to refund me. Not even an 'we'll send you another one'. Second time ordering from them and had issues the first time round. I'm sure their spiders are lovely, if they arrive

I received my H.spinifer scorpling this morning at 7.30am. The package was labelled nice and clearly live specimen and the packing was brilliant. There was no bouncing around inside of the tub my scorpion came in. He is in excellent health He was very calm and didn’t seem stressed at all from his travels. He’s now in his new home in his burrow and chowing down on a prekilled pin head cricket. Very very happy with the service I received. Nothing was too much trouble and continued help and advice was offered. Very highly recommend The Spider Shop and its critters!

Slight error with products purchased but was rectified straight away from the team. It's good too see care taken when packing livestock and the inclusion of heating packs to ensure safe travel. Excellent service and business.

I've been working with the spider shop for a few months, they are very knowledgeable and ordering is the doddle...the wee critters are always bang on time and we'll packaged...they are always in perfect condition.
And any questions I had where answered promptly....I'll be working with them in the future till my spider collection is completed ((yea right)or until my family get the hint and stop coming round.

I have ordered a few tarantulas from these guys they always arrive when there supposed to and are packaged really well.
The spiders are in excellent condition I would definitely recommend using the spider shop.

This is my first spider I have bought as a pet. I did my research but was nervous about a few details so I rang and spoke with the team and they were able to answer all my questions. I had concerns over postage due to my geographical location but they sent the spider to coincide with my rest days. Spider arrived with a heat pack in perfect condition. The advice I was given was excellent. The delivery was prompt. Everything was well packaged. My tarantula was happily exploring its new home soon after arriving.

Fantastic business all around, highly recommended to anyone in the hobby of collecting inverts and other amazing exotic pets. I have personally been a customer both online and visited them at the Northern Invert Show. They have everything you can think of that you need in terms of set up kits, both beginner and experienced. Live foods, substrate, heating, plants, temperature control, lighting, bowls and hides etc. They have a great team who are very helpful, dedicated YouTube channel with lots of helpful information and tips. Would highly recommend the spider shop .Personally I would not go anywhere else to get my spiders. Always well Packed. And the spiders are always in perfect condition. And reasonably priced. They are very helpful and informative and above all they care.👍👍👍👍

Placed an order back in November for a P. Regius and a couple of extra bits. The next available slot for delivery was the 13th November, which was fine, but I did request the 12th as I would be available to immediately tend to my spider once it arrived. Not only did my Regal arrive in great condition, happily settling in and exploring its new home, but the Spider Shop were able to ship for my preferred date as well.

I’ve not needed to contact the company for anything as of yet, but after letting them know the spider was with me and doing well I got a prompt reply when they were next open for business. Everything arrived neatly packed and secure, the heat pad was still warm inside and I’ve had no issues at all so far.

Highly recommend this company - such a wide variety of stock, friendly and quick customer service and they have gone above and beyond my expectations!

Ordered a Desert Hairy Scorpion and a blue death feigning beetle at the weekend. Tuesday the package arrived with both animals securely packaged with a heat pad, in their own container and secure with loads of plastic popcorn. Both animals are acclimatising to their new vivarium and seem to be doing well. I would recommend The Spider Shop and will be using them again

Currently experiencing a hard time communicating with this company. Phone numbers are always ringing out, emails are taking forever to respond.
I’ve made an order that I can’t cancel, review or change anything because they are not responding to me.
I haven’t been able to communicate about any spiders due to no responds on their side to multiple emails.

I trusted the site as it had ok reviews but I’m experiencing an awful time with their customer service.

I would recommend going somewhere else if it’s this hard at the beginning. It’s become stressful and disappointing.

Bought my jumping spider which I named Luna highly recommend them my jumping spider came when was told and she went in moulting stage straight away which worried me has didn’t see her come out or feed every time I rang the shops and spoke to lovely guy sorry don’t know name he gave me great advices and stopped me worrying she’s finally came out of her moult and his beautiful love her so much already

I ordered jumping spiders and the set up and came when they said, I messed my order up of buying the wrong food ad I called the spidershop and they was very friendly and helped me to change it to the correct food for them highly recommended

Bought two tarantulas from here, very quick delivery, the spider shop has plenty of invertebrates to choose from and sell excellent products for excellent prices, if you buy from here you will not be disappointed, great place with great knowledgeable staff
