I am in my 70s and although I am capable with computers, I am not an expert. This is where The Dept Advisor has helped so much, talking me through sending PDFs etc and staying on the line until the required information reached him.
Then, he talked me through all the nuances of the different ways my debt could be handled and made sure that I understood every step of the way.
I am so grateful for the help and support that I have received from TDA and would recommend that anyone struggling with debt, not despair but contact The Debt Advisor as soon as possible.

For those who are suffocating and drowning in finances. I feel your pain and anxiety,

This was my position a little over a month ago. 27k in debt over £1500 a month being paid direct from my salary to just about pay interest fees! I felt like i was suffocating under the pressure!

Due to some personal circumstances and health issues, over the last 3 years my finances became unmanageable. To the point i couldn't sleep at night..

Well today i got the fantastic news that my IVA had been approved, allowing me to have that much needed disposable income again. To treat me son again and be able to breath for the first time in years.

What can i say about the team! First of all to danielle. What an amazing person from the start, reassured me from the very beginning. Also has a wicked sense of humour, even though she is a city fan. So a big thank you to dan!

Andrew who called to give me the good news.. the voice of an angel. A slightly gruff angel, who stubbed his toe and in severe pain! 🤣 angels come in different forms.

So to those who may be reading this and is in the position i was this time last month! Please don't hesitate to start the process, better days are around the corner!

I am so glad I never signed up with them, they would of taken about 35% of my monthly repayments, which would of meant I paid them about £45 a month for a total of 16 years, so signing with them my debt would of rocketed, go with StepChange, they are a charity and don’t charge you anything, which means my repayments will last for 8 years, not 16 years, an absolute no brainer not to go with these guys, the above is just maths and facts
