Bvery good value appliance, which I am, so far happy with.

When getting the 2yr warranty the initial call handler repeatedly asked for the model “number”. When our model was just letters this totally confused him and he implied heavily that I was not understanding him. Considering one of the reasons we chose this company was the apparent excellent customer care it was a very frustrating lengthy call. Even asking him to look it up on Google he couldn’t comprehend that I had given him the correct number for a fridge and freezer made by them! The manager was excellent and rectified promptly. I appreciate everyone has to learn but the repeated assumption that it was my mistake was very irritating! The fridge and freezer look good, here’s hoping they work so I don’t have to call again!

Quite easy to register my new appliance

It felt so refreshing to deal with people that are genuine helpful friendly reliable and professional
From my first call everything was so effortless and they delivered my fridge freezer as promised when they said they would and even called me half an hour before to let me know they were on their way
My old one was taken away and what was even better was I didn’t have to go to the trouble of defrosting my old one before collection which saved me a job.
I’m thankful I was reminded to register it as I probably would’ve forgotten
I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough and if I need any other appliances I will go to them first

I needed an lpg cooker and one that is slightly smaller than the run of the mill this one fitted the criteria and also looks good in my kitchen. The company kept me informed of delivery and came at start of expected time. Driver was very efficient and friendly. Registration online for warranty was easy option of extension was given but will review that in a few months time.

Originally poor service when my appliance broke. Thank you Matt and Laurence from Appliance world online, for sorting out my replacement fridge. Bought a tall Teknix fridge less than a year ago from Appliance world online. Not cooling the food. Lots of food went off, so realised there was a fault. Shocking customer service from the warranty company (which I thought was Teknix but turns out not to be, so who are they?) and the company who instructs the engineers. Several engineer visits later- replaced fan at first, then another 2 engineers came & said no it’s the compressor, another engineer came to fit the compressor, no it’s not that, it’s a blockage blah blah blah. Just get me a new fridge! Finally written off. This part has taken 6 weeks to this point! In all this heat! Rotating ice packs in cooler bags three times a day! Ludicrous! Finally been Told I can have a refund or a replacement fridge but now that model isn’t available. So the newer version (almost identical!) is £100 dearer. Not happy got to pay more!! Arghhh! Don’t know who’s most at fault?

Very difficult to open the freezer door. This is a two handed job. You have to break the door seal by pushing your fingers into the seal or using a flat piece of plastic to insert between the seal and door. Also the door handle is a cheap. Not impressed

I wanted to buy a simple large capacity fridge without Internet access or any app rubbish so many other makes have. The Teknix fridge I bought ticked all my boxes though not a household name I recognised.
Build quality is an equal to our Bosch fridge in my opinion. Only had it a few days and I'm very impressed so far.

I purchased the Teknix THSBS1791PLUBIX fridge freezer, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing appliances I’ve ever bought. It looks modern on the outside, but in real use it fails at the basics, especially for a side‑by‑side fridge with a water and ice dispenser.
Water Cooling Issue
The biggest problem was the water dispenser. It delivered lukewarm water, practically the same temperature as tap water. The water stayed around 18–19°C, which means it wasn’t chilled at all. For a fridge advertised with a water‑cooling function, this is unacceptable.

Engineer was already, and did nothing. Appliance returned.
This isn’t a rare issue, it’s a design flaw. The water tank sits below the cooling circuit, so no Teknix THSBS1791PLUBIX can chill water properly. Every unit will behave the same because the system simply isn’t engineered to cool the dispenser water. You’re selling a faulty product, and you know it’s faulty.

This is a great dryer! I've been using it for a month now and I'm so pleased with the results. It's quiet, efficient, easy to operate with a good selection of programmes and a large drum. Gentle on clothing and everything comes out soft and perfectly dried.

I had a problem with one member of the call centre I called another and got a young lady called Abigail who was very professional and helped me to get an engineer to come and sort my washer I can not thank her enough for her help.

Purchased a build under oven just over two years ago
Want new glass inner door for it
Discount domestics in wrexham were i purchased it just directing you to website which when asked I was told it was based in chester
Turns out to be the head office of Discount domestics when I rang them being directing to website again
Website say there is nothing listed for this part yet the oven still being sold instore
Checked Teknix Company no.05582050 on Gov.uk it says dormant in filing history
Discount domestics hiding behind website god help you if you want something under warrantee even though it has a two year warrantee it's not worth the paper it is written
Beware of the make in anything they manufacture

Only rang to validate the 2 year warranty, but the lady was very helpful and friendly.
