Trade in experience - They received my products on 24th June, on 28th June status was changed to Trade Processed. I contacted them on 4th July chasing payment, they responded 8th July advising that the payout Q was currently at 9-10 working days but can take up to 20 working days as per their T&C's. It has now been 24 working days, and I’ve received no payment, i have emailed them every day since 25th July and they are just ignoring me.
They are practically stealing from my son (i was selling for him) which i find disgusting.
I have told them if i do not receive my money by end of play today i will be reporting them to Trading Standards.

I received confirmation on the 27th June that they've processed my trade-in, but to this date, they still have not sent me the money, 23 business days later.
They were initially very helpful in locating my trade-in after multiple Royal Mail failed delivery attempts, so I know they do answer emails and I have the correct one. Since they've received the package, and acknowledged receipt on the 27th June, they have ignored all emails I've sent requesting an update on where my money is. An incredibly poor service, would not recommend to anyone, and I echo the other reviews that scream that this is a scam.

Sold a lot of funko pops its been 2 weeks they received the funkos pop no money to be seen in my paypal acc from this company. i have sent 3 emails about this and no response. either send the funkos pop back or give me the money.

If i get no response i will gladly report this to trading standerd

Our refurbished Macbook Pro lasted less than three years before it packed in. Considering we paid only a couple of hundred pounds less than a new one would have cost, it's really disappointing to have to now go and buy another.

I bought a refurbished Samsung S6 march 2017 and its still going as good as new , so much so my grandson 27yrs old ,.i would definatly recommend tech trade

Please don’t use this company. I sent my item weeks ago and Royal Mail have confirmed it was delivered. No reply to any of my emails whatsoever, no money and they have my item. I have reported to trading standards now and urge everyone in the same position to do so. I’m probably never going to see my sons iPod nor the promised money again and am gutted as I can’t afford to make it up to him.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! As with a previous reviewer I have also received no payment for my item and the same sob story excuses about no internet etc and catching up in the next few days. Weeks later no further replies to emails and no payment!!!

The guy who owns this, Richard something or other finally replied to my emails and told me some sob story about how his mother was ill and he had no internet coz of BT messing his home move or whatever. Said he would be catching up in the next few days. ALL LIES AND EXCUSES because it has been weeks and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY! RICHARD IS A LIAR AND THEIF AND NEEDS TO BE IN PRISON FOR FRAUD!

Sent my item away in December 2018 and in January still hadn't received money so I contacted their support department but Richard just sent me round in circles blaming it on Royal Mail and then stopped responding from then. When I contacted Royal Mail they told me the item had been delivered. Reviews of this company were good in December but recent reviews are all bad. DON'T USE TECHTRADES

I sent my order 20th March and received emails with updates and on the 29th March said email was processed. After logging in and sending requests of an update still no money or contact has been made from the company. They don't have a telephone number so can only send emails to contact them. I just want my money paid or my items back.

Sold me an iPad Air 2 on eBay, as pristine, but not as it lacked a sim card tray. How on earth do you put a sim card in without the tray? Therefore not pristine. However I returned the iPad Air 2 to him and he still has not refunded me. Shame on you.

Beware of this seller on eBay he will mess with your refund if you dare to go up against him. He has now refunded me with an eCheque and i have to wait a further week for my money. Do not buy from him.

Update - eBay had to refund my money as this palooka decided not to refund my money. NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Best offer I found for my old iPad, the process is easy and straightforward even including postage. I was regularly updated with the status of my sale right through to the final confirmation that the goods were satisfactory and the company paid the exact amount that I was quoted. From start to finish my particular sale took 3 weeks but that was during the Christmas and new year holidays. Definitely use them again and highly recommend!

First of all let me explain that, before sending my phone off to Tech Trades, I was a bit dubious over the price they offered and their assurances that the price offered would be the price paid. I'd visited various sites buying used phones and Tech Trades offered around £40 more so it was a 'no-brainer' for me. From the moment the package arrived at their facility, I was kept well informed of the progress of my phone through their thoroughly efficient system. Today I received an e-mail confirming payment into my bank account...excellent. I thoroughly recommend Tech Trades for all those wanting to get the best price for their phone.

It’s very rare that I leave reviews on Trustpilot but I felt this company deserved it. They seem relatively new which made me a little anxious but I had no reason to be. They offered a trade in price for my games that was far better than anything offered by competitors (and was maybe more than I could’ve got through private sale!) They updated me via email at every stage of my trade-in process then once I had placed an order for my new game it arrived within a couple of days. Extremely happy with the entire process. TechTrades will definitely be the first company I go to in future to sell my items to.

I traded in my Xbox one s recently with Tech Trades. The postage and returns label was received via email and this made sending the product to them hassle free at the post office. Once sent my order was processed promptly and I received an email updating me of the status at each stage. I received payment directly to my bank account promptly and again received an email notifying me of payment. I am very impressed with the service received, would have no hesitation using Tech Trades in the future and happily recommend them.

Used another company first of all and have a terrible experience, got my phone back and found this company, they gave me a good fair quote, so I printed off the label and sent my phone off, the whole process is super easy

My phone had surface scratches on the back, but they didn't use this to try and bump down my offer

here we are 2 days later and the money is in my Paypal, super happy, couldn't have hoped for a better experience, I was cautious because of the previous site, but Tech Trades have restored my faith in these kind of sites, will be bookmarking them and using them again without a doubt
