It's a company that encourages you to get involved and as a result has personally allowed me to do more things than I could have imagined, including presenting lectures and seminars at universities. Teach English in China is a great company if you’re looking to teach abroad, due to the the huge amount of support in regards to every aspect of the process. They provide helpful advice for everything to expect before starting the visa process, take you through the visa process, and also help you once in China (through contacts or staff in person on the TEFL training camp). They made what would have been a long, stressful process a lot less stressful, and do their best to help everyone to feel comfortable a lot the way. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

TEIC has enabled me to fulfil my dreams in going to China! From the very beginning of the process they offered me with very simple step by step guidance. They’re always available for a down to earth chat and to provide advice not only from the start of the programme but also many years later. They were able to help with applying for a visa, finding a school suited to my presences and two weeks training process in Beijing at the beginning. TEIC were wonderful for me in providing an excellent opportunity for myself to live and work in China. I chose TEIC when I first decided to teach in China and it couldn't have been a better choice. They found me an amazing location- Zhangjiajie- which I would never have been able to find on my own. It was small but beautiful and I made friends for life there, as well as having excellent teaching hours and overall a great quality of living. They were there for every step of the process before going to China too, which is valuable especially during the visa process which can be somewhat tricky. I found this company to be very helpful even before you leave to China. You get to meet all the other teachers during an info session in London which is fun! Once you’re in China they provide you with the necessary training which gives you the needed confidence for your teaching experience. Their team is always ready to help whenever there’s an issue. I would definitely recommend going to China with them, you will not regret it!

This company is very good at setting you up with a good chinese school and offer a very useful training course for around 2 weeks in Beijing to help you get used to teaching if you had never done it before like me. I would definitely reccomend Teach English In China to anyone thinking of teaching in China

I completed a summer internship through Teach English in China from June to August this year, and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. Without TEIC I would not have known where to start, but they helped me organise everything from finding an initial placement to getting my visa and arriving in China. I felt fully supported right up until I left China, and even though I did not need any support whilst in China (because my hosts were amazing) it was nice to know that TEIC were there if I needed them.

It was also great to experience the internship with four other girls that I met through TEIC. It was my first time in China, so I was glad that I had a group to go with rather than travelling alone.

Very supportive and reassuring company through the whole process. Even when I encounter a number of problems members were readily available to give advice and help me through the problem. Everyone seems to be friendly and encouraging, and I felt prepared to go to a whole new country and new experience knowing I would have the back up I need at any time.
The training process although intense was effective and enabled me to make new friends and contacts in China and to develope even more skills to teach.

I would recommend TEIC to anyone looking to teach English abroad in a foreign country. Based specifically in China, once accepted to the scheme they help you through the process of finding a city and school to teach in as well as getting the working visa in China, something which has gotten more difficult in recent years. One of the major perks of the scheme is the amount of other foreign teachers you meet, many of which could be going to the same city as you to teach, meaning that you are not moving alone to a new city. I am very happy that I chose to go through TEIC for teaching English abroad - Will
