The halogen heater I purchased from Wilkos failed within a year, so I emailed Status with proof of purchase and a photo showing the fault. They were quick to resolve it sending me a replacement heater. Excellent customer service.

On the flip side, I wish halogen heaters were more reliable. Hopefully the replacement will last longer.

I was able to contact a representative over the telephone, avoiding recorded messages, and soon sorted my issue out which was to acquire an instruction manual in pdf for a carbon monoxide tester. I was also given advice to set the test unit up. It is rare to receive advice that takes time to clarify the detail.

Recently purchased remote control sockets and found the remote control missing I phoned Andy in quality control and within 48 hours a remote was delivered to my home complete with a hand written note and complimentary pen . Such personal service is extremely rare so I thank Andy and Status International . Great company

A new Status smoke alarm had a fault. I contacted Status and explained the problem to Andy Schofield. He took some details and sent me a replacement unit in the post. This is now installed and seems ok.

I bought a Stats Smart Wifi Plug Adaptor and have spent 2 days trying to set it up on the APP on my mobile but to no avail. I logged a question with StatusSmart asking for help. Within an hour I got a call from a helpful gentleman (sorry didn't catch his name) and he showed me how to connect it. Neither the published primary or the alternate method was working. It turns out that there aren't any specific instructions on how to use the alternate method and I was missing just one slight step.

All working now and thankful for the quick response.

What a treasure of a company. From the receptionist to the gentleman that helped me with my query. I was sent out a replacement plug that you use with a remote control as one of the plugs in the pack did not work. He knew straight away what the problem was. So nice to speak to an actual person and not a robot.

Had an issue with a portable mains kit purchased from Aldi whilst under warranty. They put me in touch with Status International and my issue was handled by Andrew in the QA department. He was very helpful and efficient and once I had provided the info and photos required sorted a replacement immediately.

I contacted customer services with a query regarding a defective bulb. Andrew took immediate ownership of the issue and saw it through to a satisfactory conclusion. Communication was faultless throughout. Thank you Andrew.

I bought a 9" desk fan in the Wilko sales last Autumn, my teenage son set the fan up this week and complained that it was too noisy, phoned Status International and was immediately put through to Andrew in tech support who diagnosed the problem and very professionally talked me through fixing it.
