Love the splash back

Love the splash back, bright vibrant colour, easy to place.
Kept up to date with delivery times and when it arrived it was very well packaged.

Absolutely delighted with my splashback…

Absolutely delighted with my splashback and breakfast bar topper! Perfect fit and great quality product..... it did take a little longer than expected however I wasn’t disappointed and Lee-Ann answered my enquiries promptly and honestly. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something a little different. Thanks!

Ordered my glass 5 weeks ago.

Ordered my splashback glass 5 weeks ago now and can not get any reply when my glass might be delivered. rung three times no answer or message, sent them two messages no reply to those. think the next step will have to be a refund request through my bank.

Hello Peter,

You did order the splashback on the 19th April. We shipped the splashback to you on the 24th May. We do apologise for the longer time taken, these are delicate products made by hand that can at times fail quality control and then need to be re-started and that does cause a delay in a few cases. We do state online that coloured glass takes 4-5 weeks. We then needed to remake the panel as you order had failed QC pushed it through as quickly as we could. This is all conveyed in our terms and conditions and also in the confirmation email we send everyone through.
We would love to be able to have zero issues at quality control, but unfortunately that is impossible with bespoke products and we would never send out a product that was not to standard.

Everyone who I dealt with throughout…

Everyone who I dealt with throughout the whole process treated me with respect - I wanted a very bespoke product and they were all excellent in helping me to achieve what I desired... The splashback that they created for me took my breath away when I took delivery of it - and when my friend fixes it to the wall in my downstairs cloakroom - it will look astounding - no-one has anything like it - brilliant....!!!!

Really good comms

Really good comms, very helpful too. Product. was exactly what we wanted. My only quibble would be it took a while, but it was well worth the wait

Happy customer

I was worried at first when I ordered my splashback because of some negative reviews but my splashback has arrived today, it did take 4 weeks but this is understandable as it is bespoke made to measure, and I did also request a change in size as my fitter gave me the incorrect measurements, it looks amazing and exactly what I was hoping for, I had dealings with Leigh Ann and Paul both extremely helpful, would recommend

Thank you for your review, we really appreciate it. I do hope that people read our replies to some of these 1 star reviews left as I can honestly say they do baffle me. But I think it is a sad sign of the times we now live in. We try with every order to provide the best product as quickly as possible, but at present just do not have enough admin staff in to answer emails or calls immediately.

There we have it good people of Trustpilot the public reply that sums up this company having charged us £35 for cancelling an order we effectively didn't place, due to their system fault....to save you the bother of reading all her drivel this petulant womans reply to my public update( as there is no other way of sharing this information publicly) the last line is....

"I'm not playing your 'tit for tat' game'. Above is the third edited review you have submitted. This is my last reply, you can edit whatever you wish."

Update.......

Having exchanged emails with the Lee anne and proving their site as at fault she has ceased to communicate...... Below is a the transcript from these emails and below that my original review and her reply....the main heading still stands AVOID this company its not worth the bother.

"That is Takepayments - the payment provider failing.
You left a review - you were not our customer so therefore I addressed the customer concerned.

My reply.....

"Lee Anne,

I along with my wife are the customers.

You have just admitted that your website or that of your payment provider failed. I as the end user or customer cannot possibly differentiate who provides what, I simply access your website and follow the process.

Again at no point did a payment screen “pop up” but three payments were taken.

I am in no way at fault, your system failed, consequently I should be refunded in full.

Again I ask you to remove our surname from your reply and edit to remove the slanderous intimation that I am lieing.

Ordered through the website, which crashed during the process, displaying multiple error pages. At no time was a payment screen displayed. The site processed 3 duplicate orders.

The phone number goes straight to a voicemail box is full message and they do not answer online messages

Thankfully we used a credit card so instigated charge back. Eventually the company did respond to emails but won’t refund the full amount of the last order saying it’s our fault and charging us £35 for cancelling the order, even tho’ we can prove their site was at fault.

Wish we’d checked trustpilot first

Avoid at all costs, no wonder they have over 30% terrible rating.

Dear Lee ann, Firstly I will email you the proof that your website crashed.

Secondly just have a look at the top of the trustpilot page for your company where quite clearly out of the 53 reviews 30% are BAD and 2% Poor....shame your degree wasn't in the blindingly obvious.

You are certainly showing why your %reviews are so bad, perhaps if you are considering more further education a customer service qualification wouldn’t go amiss....... my review title is wholly accurate AVOID

Hello Ross,
This order was actually under the name Ruth Bowring, I am not sure who 'Ross' is. If you are writing on her behalf, this order was placed on 25th April. We emailed Ruth on the 27th of April to let her know 3 payments had been made. This can happen if you refresh the page while payment is undergoing (the website did not crash). We apologized and let Ruth know that the 2 extra payments had been refunded back to her account and that 1 of the orders had been started. It was then on the 30th April that Ruth asked to cancel, unfortunately as this is a bespoke product (as in the terms and conditions with every bespoke product) if anyone wishes to cancel once the order is in production there will be a charge for the work done so far.
I understand she maybe angry and has asked you to leave review but making statements like 'I can prove the site is at fault' is not a truth.
Please advise Ruth moving forward if bespoke orders are placed (with any company) they will charge for a cancellation as each order is specifically made to order and not fit for resale.
I hope this clears things up.

I would also say that at present out rating on Trust pilot is not 30%. It is 3.8 out of 5 stars which is 76%, sorry I have a Math Degree and can not let that pass by. Lee-anne

Splashbacks made from my art

I have had two Splashbacks made by this company recently. They took two of my paintings and made the Splashbacks from those and they are exquisite. Cannot recommend them highly enough. The quality of the reproduction is very high and they are now my go to company for producing my art onto glass in future. Lee-anne and Lynne could not have been more helpful and the packaging and delivery of the pieces were done with great care.

100% pleased

I researched splashbacks for quite a while and am very happy I ordered from Splashbacks. Wonderful communication throughout.
The product itself, a glass splashback, could not be bettered.
I was also most impressed with the fabulous packaging, well worth the postage/packing cost.

I have ordered and paid for a splash back no response from email or phone message. I am very worried about my order having not received any assistance. Can anyone confirm that this company is still trading.

I ordered a standard white splash back…

I ordered a standard white splash back on 27th March. Still not arrived and no reply to emails.
I tried calling to hear a message saying it will be busy over Christmas. That was 4 months ago. Emailed twice got a standard reply saying they will respond in 2 days. No response received. Is this company still operating ?

Since writing this I have received an email update to say my order is ready and will be delivered.
I’ll provide a further updates on how this goes. If it arrives and good quality I’ll update rating from 1 star.

This is my final update.
I’ve upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars. The product has eventually arrived and is exactly what I ordered and good quality. I’d give the product 5 stars. Customer service was very poor with no replies to emails and no other way on contacting. I’d give customer service 1 star.
The poor customer service may be a result of difficult Covid situation. So I hope this will improve. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, I felt the upgrade from 1 to 3 stars was fair.

Hello Phil,
The coloured glass bespoke takes approx 4-5 weeks (giving the closure at Easter) this was confirmed through to you upon order.
We have a few admin staff due to NI just this week coming out of lockdown. Your order was dispatched from us on the 2nd May. I do not understand the 1star review as we did give you that time estimate and it was dispatched within that time estimate.
I do wonder regarding your mention of a voicemail talking about Christmas closures - we do not have a voicemail message stating this (not even over christmas) - ours simply states 'please leave a message', and always has. So I think you may have called a different company there. I do think a 1 star review is harsh but everyone is entitled to there reviews.

It’s never arrived

Sadly I ordered in January and never heard from the company again.

Nothing delivered and I’ve contacted them got an email saying they would email me back the next day and a week later nothing.

They have said they are open for business but clearly they just want to run away with my money!

Love our splash back

Love our splash back, it was ready in a couple of weeks, really good communication from the company and great instructions re how to install. We used the adhesive and it worked well. Has made a real difference to the look of our kitchen
