As discussed with my colleague yesterday, as part of the British Standard, for any fire extinguisher to be certified, a service engineer is required to attend your site. They not only confirm that the extinguisher has been delivered in perfect working order (as good as couriers are, it isn't unheard of for things to get damaged from time to time), but they also ensure it is the right fire extinguisher for the location and the fire risks which are present.
Unfortunately, you did not purchase the certification service. However, if this is something you still require, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and we'll try our best to get this booked in with your local engineer as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, due to the length of our ladders, these have to go on a bulk delivery service and the courier we have to use for delivering them are unable to offer precise delivery windows like our other couriers.

Great selection of products and good prices
I found Simply Extinguishers when looking for some stainless steel small capacity extinguishers to fit to a boat for use on all types of fires. They have a great range of products and their pricing is very competitive. The only confusion came when the description of the extinguishers was listed as 'Chrome' on the delivery note, which would not have been suitable for the marine environment I was intending. This was resolved after a short conversation with a customer service representative it was confirmed that this is just a descriptive error of the colour on their system.

Initial error sorted eventually
Wrong (cheaper) item sent. Have phoned a couple of times and given details and have not heard back.
Edit: This was rectified eventually so no issue now.
