Apparently they are meant to be one of the UK’s leading solar wholesalers and from my experience with Segen I can honestly say, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with!!
The pre-sales business development advisors never return emails, calls or even text messages, especially after being told to “call me on my mobile number as it’s easier to get hold of me”
I completed online forms, sent emails and called the number and was on hold trying to speak to someone for over an hour! I even emailed the customer service team and have not had a single reply.
I deal with many B2B companies on a daily basis and understand it’s not easy to get hold of someone but it’s common courtesy to reply to a message.
Sincerely disappointed in the service provided by Segen.

Our account manager changes every 5 minutes and they are always completely useless and slow to respond. Started using other companies as they respond instantly and actually answer the phone.
Refusing to give refund.
I incorrectly bought a 5.0kw inverter, when I wanted to change it for an 8kw. They made me pay for the new one in full instead of the difference. I collected the new one and returned the old one at the same time from their warehouse. I have not got my refund and they are claiming I have not returned the original. The original was returned unopened on 6th aug with the return code: MAPV34037

A disappointing experience
I paid £6,000 for a very large home battery from this company. They were due to deliver it today.
The courier just arrived and handed me a tiny box. I asked where my battery was
His response was that he dropped it off somewhere else because Segen had mis labelled the delivery
To be fair to them they did deliver a new battery to me the following day so at least they did respond to their mistake. It’s now installed and working

The CEO and executive team responded immediately, quickly and decisively arranging for replacement items delivered the next day. I have to say hands down the best customer experience I have ever had. Could not recommend any more and will deffo use again.

Refund
Bought some invertors and the client wanted a different brand. Was hounded for weeks to get the sale and was not told about any restocking fees. So lost £2k on a client change even though these are not even Been unpacked of the pallet. Now trying to get a refund for over 4 weeks with multiple emails. Im being ghosted and given excuses. Still not had anything arranged and im owed thousands still. Steer clear of these clowns!

I made an order to Segen, the delivery didn't arrive and a day later I am still waiting. I paid the delivery charge of £80.
No one from Segen can offer any update on my missing order when I eventually managed to speak to someone. The last time I use this poor excuse of a business.
I hope no one else experiences this. Heads up!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Constantly sending faulty parts and hide behind their returns policy which is a drain on cashflow as it takes that long for them to send it to manufacturer and get a decision. Senior management never follow through with calls. Techincal team never call out to help solve issues. Utter shambles in dealing with them from start to finish. Their account managers have stated how poorly their internal processes are at the moment.

I work in the Finance Department and…
I work in the Finance Department and have enjoyed every step of the way. Managers and co-workers are always on hand to answer any queries, comprehensive training was provided when I started (over a year ago) and learning opportunities are always available. I know each persons' experience can vary but I can confidently say my own has been positive.
Disappointed and let down
Terrible customer service, after years of great service and friendly efficient staff.
Very disappointed this year seems they don’t care anymore they go on about the portal and online but it’s definitely profit first.
Manager helped me on one order 6 months later still not complete.
Excuses at the ready every time slow at issuing credit after chasing them for months.
Too many new staff with no experience getting passed from pillar to post.
Efficiency has disappeared at the same time as the customer care.
No Reply
Well can't comment on their delivery or service. But was pointed in their direction by Lg Chem as their battery distributor as I'm looking to purchase some batteries. Can't even get a Email reply from them!

Awful, no telephone response - ever
Awful, they used to be fantastic but I believe that they have been taken over. They have a phone number but never answer, and I mean never. Ironically a recorded massage states that they won’t tolerate abuse towards their staff, they obviously anticipate that their lack of response is going to upset people. No one ever answers to abuse anyhow. Not good enough for a company handling large value orders.
Response to their reply - I have left my details so that part isn’t true.
Before you were taken over by the group that bought both Segen and City Electrical the phone response was amazing, this is nothing to do with being busy, this is to do with cost cutting. You don’t have enough stock available to be busy. We are all online businesses but inevitably, sometimes we need to be contactable.

APPALLING...let alone the service…
APPALLING...let alone the service issues, i have been chasing defective equipement since November, now to be told we cant be refunded on 6 batteries and other equipment until they are refunded by Fox!! Not my issue , i paid Segen and expect them to refund me....now going legal to get this sorted.
Following on from your patronising remarks, we informed you this battery was defective in November yet it took you 6 months to sort! To come back at me on here making yourselves free of blame is quite frankly pathetic! Admittedly Edmundson was the other company involved and once informed they refunded us in 48 hours directly into our bank . If your going to reply to negative reviews try using empathy not accusations, my review stands
