I purchased my off grid system for my narrow boat from the team at Midsummer Energy. Their service has been exceptional, from welcoming me to an initial discussion at their office in Cambridge to the after care in supporting my instillation. Friendly, knowledgeable and responsive, all you need in a supplier. I'd especially like to thank Mike.

CRC Electrical and renewables have been using Midsummer for a number of years and have always found the range of products second to none. Its a one top stop for all things solar and the perfect supplier to use if you want to build a successful solar business. Our account handler is Ed Hawkes he is very knowable and moves mountains for us every week in order for us to get the stock and prices we need. It was not long ago we where spending very little with midsummer and shopping around all the smaller supplier for the best prices. Since Ed has taken over our account he has sourced us amazing prices and gives us impeccable service. We now get 90% of all our solar products from Ed at midsummer and that is largely testament to him and his managers allowing him to make the right decisions to help us grow.

We use Midsummer for 99% of our installations. They have an excellent selection of quality, reasonably priced products and the integration with Easy PV makes it super easy to order/edit/pay for your kit.

Our account manager Vanessa is friendly, helpful, approachable and usually replies to queries within the hour. She's so efficient and makes our job much easier!

Developments in the past 6 months such as editing your own orders, next day delivery and live availability of products have all been smoothly rolled out and really useful. We particularly loved the free delivery offer throughout January and February!

I would 100% recommend using Midsummer for Solar installers.

There was a delay on our order, the courier said the pallet had been "mis-routed"..

Got in touch with my account manager, they got the delivery rearranged for the next day , with a two hour booked slot that we could make arrangements around

A little bit inconvenient, but these things do happen, but it's great to know they're are only an email away when you need them

We have been using Midsummer for quite some time now, and I must say we are very impressed.

All their products are delivered on-time and in full. They stock almost everything we need, and if they do not have it, then they do try and get it for us.

A special mention goes to Penny Takou. She has been our guardian angel. Anytime we need help or have questions, Penny is always at hand. She is on top of her game and is the main reason I am leaving this 5-star review. I am very impressed with the way she conducts her day to day work and is always looking to go the extra mile. It is hard to find honest hard working people and Penny is definitely one of them. She is the definition of world class customer service and is a great asset to Midsummer.

All in all, this is a fantastic company to work with, and I could not recommend them enough.

I'm an installer and deal with many different wholesalers around the UK. I have always recieved a great service fro midsummer and a good price too. Plus I deal with Lizzie and she is always lightning quick on responses and any problem i've ever had she has deal straight away. I would thoroughly recommend using Midsummer.

I have had such good service from Midsummer, from all aspects of purchase through initial contact to after purchase information and support. Jacob helped me specifically today with a solution where a PV system was already supplied and was damaged during installation. The speed of identifying the replacement and getting it into their delivery network meant so much in continuity of operation for us and the end user/access/efficiency.

What makes a good supplier? Many would say price or quality of the goods supplied. Yet, what goes unnoticed are those crucial moments where you need something sorted ASAP. All the team at Midsummer (especially Lizzie) have great communication, always answer the phone or respond to emails, and I've never called with a last minute issue or problem and not got it resolved straight away. This is on top of supplying great products at a great price. I would thoroughly recommend Midsummer to anyone.

I have used this company for over a year now. My account manager is Lizzie who i could not praise enough. Always efficient with everything i ask, helpful with any questions I have. The off grid team are great aswell and their knowledge is excellent for any tech question that may arise.
All orders turn up when they should with the correct equipment picked. On the very rare occasion a module turned up damaged this was instantly rectified and no quibble replacement was immediately sent.
I have tried to deal with otger large companies in this sector and nowhere near receive this level of service that i get from Lizzie and the team.
Of all the wholesalers I deal with this whole team are up there with the very best!

I wouldn’t bother spending the extra money buying from this company - they just wangle out of everything, have no interest in customer service ask loaded questions to ensure you the customer are ripped off every way - by the higher cost of purchasing from them over the competition, and then they don’t honour warranties and wangle out of everything quite legitimately. Then you realise any warranty etc is not worth re paper it’s written on, terrible company, might as well just buy cheaper from online.

Badly representing their brands with no thought of long term all just a fast buck.

Ordered a pump from midsummer that they had in stock, received confirmation and delivery notification then had an email the next day, to say they were not selling any more of them without a heat pump. In my view once they confirmed, the deal was done and they should have honoured the agreement. Poor service, I wont be using them again.

It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Ordering items results in the wrong item being delivered and charged. Delivery dates are not met. Card payments get lost. Picking up items at the warehouse is a nightmare. Need I say more.

Always have a great experience with Midsummer and they often have stock of products that nobody else seems to! Bought some battery cables and isolation switches and all my orders have arrive quickly and with tracking! Keep up the good work!
