Transition to new mortgage product
I have been with Santander International for approximately 4 years. I had misunderstood the transitional arrangements for beginning a new product and revised payments. I contacted the mortgage team and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They really listened to my problem and went out of their way to fix my problem in a very human and professional way. A difficult problem quietly solved by a very empathetic guy.
What made this experience great was the help of one of their Team Members, Christiaan Theron. I had some complicated issues with my debit cards resulting from a compromised pay terminal in a supermarket. Christiaan spent over an hour on the telephone resolving them and getting new cards issued. He was very patient and truly human in his empathy, a great credit to Santander International. He followed up with an email confirming what he done to get new cards sent to me. Thank you so much Christiaan!

First impressions / Over and Above
I believe that first impressions are important
Today while visiting your branch I was greeted with a member of staff called Stacie
I was approached with good eye to eye contact and a smiley face both of which I value
She was extremely helpful in dealing with my reason for being there and her ability to understand my questions and her ability to explain what my options were was conducted very professionally and in such a pleasant manner
After completing my information I had a concern with the online system she very quickly observed my issue and guided me through an updated online system that Santander have available this for me was a game changer for myself in how I can now find information much more easier than previous and I couldn’t thank her enough for her assistance which in my opinion was over and above considering she had already sorted my initial requirement
This truly was customer service with a smile from a truly confident member of staff
Prior to departing I made sure to obtain her full name which was Stacie Murphy and she deserves recognition for all she assisted me with today

The service I had today was out…Outstanding
The service I had today was out standing! Christaain was ever so helpful and caring and made the whole transaction effortless on my part. In the past I must say it did not go so smoothly as some of the personal do not understand that not everyone is young and up to date with how the new online services all work.
I can not say enough about how happy I was with my service I had this time around.
I hope that I can have him again next time I do any of my transactions. Sure wish there was a way to call him directly and have him each time.
