The team at safewater are brilliant. Simple as that.
The instructor (Sean) is a very capable and knowledgeable young man. Talks to on a level that's so easy and makes the classroom stuff a pleasure.
I was gobsmacked to find out how young he is.
Peter, if you read this, he's a keeper. Look after him, lads like Sean don't come along very often.

We’ve been for our VHF radio exam today and can’t recommend Peter and the team enough. We were in a hurry to get our license due to an upcoming holiday and they were kind enough to fit us in at short notice to help us out. The setup is very professional, the training is thorough and well presented and Peter is always on hand to help. Both the theory and practical elements were just what we needed to pass the exam.
We’ll definitely be going to Safewater for future training.

What a company and what a great bunch of guys they have at safe water. Very professional, friendly and have tonnes of experience and knowledge across the team. I recently done my PWC course with safe water and from the very first email and call the communication was second to none. Peter was always on hand to answer any questions and also happy to help in any way. The course was very enjoyable and also an eye opener in learning various things regarding crafts and the waters.

After completing my course i went out and got myself a jet ski. Couldn't wait to try it out and didn't manage to get down to the shop in time to get my permit sorted. Peter was just about to get in his car to go home and kindly took his time to get me sorted so i could get out on the water.

What a great team they have. Go above and beyond to help anyone if they can.

My partner and I did a VHF course with this company and I can't recommend them highly enough.
They where professional, friendly and so helpful, made you feel relaxed from the first minute I phoned up to enquire about the course to leaving after completing ( and passing) the course, which was really important for me as I am a complete novice.
I didn't know what to expect but
Steve our trainer was so knowledgeable and has so much experience that as well as teaching the course he answered all the questions people asked in full and more!
It was a long day but they managed to fit so much in and still kept us interested and engaged . Peter Mcgrady our examiner was really nice, explaining things really clearly, constantly putting us at our ease.
Nothing was too much trouble for this company and on leaving Pete said any time we want to know anything etc just give him a ring or pop in.
All I can say is thanks again guys, you have really increased my confidence for when we get a boat and I am sure we will see you again, Carol and John

I had another fantastic experience with Safewater Training on the River Mersey. This was my second time, and this time I brought my 12-year-old along. It was an incredible bonding experience, made even better by the brilliant service and great people at Safewater Training. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn a new skill and have a memorable and safe adventure on the water.

This company is one of these very rare companies that takes pride in what they do and how they deliver it, my personal experience with them (Peter McGrady, and Peter Munro) is absolutely the best customer service I've ever received from any business/company, without exaggeration, right from the initial contact to the end they have been spot on.
I travelled all the way up from Brighton/East Sussex for this course which ended up being a private one-to-one course Peter insisted running as he didn't want to let me down! He even checked I got home safe after long drive back to Brighton in the end! I mean, who and what company does that these days!?
Also instructor Peter Munro is an awesome guy his knowledge combined with his jokes and sense of humour made learning a breeze and day go fast.
There will be further courses I'll be doing and with my sons and we looking forward to take trip up there to meet this lovely humans again.

Went on a Powerboat Level 2 course with my 15 year old son. Excellent course delivered to a great standard by Peter and Pete. It was birthday present for my son, they went the extra mile with Birthday decorations, Birthday Cake and card. Really put the effort in on top of a very high standard of tuition mixed between theory and practical. Confident of skippering up to 10m both home and away. Thanks you

Great experience pete and Pete two proper top fellas even tho was of them was from the dark side ( the wirral ) haha the knowledge they both had was amazing I first went to tye training centre in Liverpool marina and was told I needed to get a extra person to make it worth there while doing the course wow just glad I never gave up doing the course and found safe water and spoke to the boss Pete what a fella from the first phone call he was amazing was told that there was space on a course with a dad and lad if I wanted to jump on with them or even just do it on my own that was not a problem I went on the course with the other two lads who was great the trainer Pete again from the dark side was a top fella ripped the back out of us all and took what he got back so in a nut shell safe water was a fantastic place to learn and I will be definitely going back for more courses and even pop in for a biscuit and a cup of tea cos they had a great selection haha

Excellent teachers in Peter and Pete, both of whom had comprehensive knowledge in the space. We were a group of 3 and they made us all feel very welcome. We learned a lot from the 2-day course and are grateful to both of them for teaching us proficiency and safety in equal measure. Look forward to coming back up North to advance the rest of my training.

We travelled outside of our local area (south west England) for our training due to the wide variety offered at Safewater. We have booked subsequent courses as the instructors have been so accommodating and knowledgable. Would 100% recommend, service is spot on and we are looking forward to our future courses.

Peter is such a helpful guy, I did my L2 Jet Ski (PWC) course with them, from beginning to end it was well organised, efficient and the trainers and staff were very professional and knowledgeable they also go out of their way to make you feel at ease and safe.

Just completed the RYA Advanced Powerboat course at Safewater in New Brighton. I can’t recommend this school highly enough.
The instructors are both excellent, the boats are fab and the facilities and equipment are first class.
I especially enjoyed the night navigation exercise.
Both of the Petes are absolute stars.
I look forward to my next course with them.

I had from some of the very best training from the services(Royal Navy) and the training I've had from the safe water team comes a very close second, the team are
very helpful and the teaching methods are easy to understand.
I've had a great couple of days on the water and in the classroom.
I would recommend the safe water training company if you need this type of training.

Excellent training facilities with very experienced instructors. Booking process was very simple and easy with Peter. Looking forward to holiday with my ICC.
