Lots of water on inside back of the rock door, installer says it's nothing they've done rock door say it's nothing to do with them so I'm left with damp all around the walls next to the door frame and a wet door every time we have a cold night

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced. From the symptoms described, particularly water appearing on the inside of the door during cold nights, this does sound consistent with condensation rather than water ingress through the product itself. Condensation can occur when warm moist air inside the property comes into contact with colder surfaces, especially during colder weather conditions.
In these situations, it is important that the property has adequate ventilation and moisture control measures in place in line with current government guidance on condensation prevention. installing better sealing more energy efficient windows and doors seals in moisture from everyday activities such as cooking, showering and drying clothes indoors can all significantly increase moisture levels within the home.
We would recommend reviewing ventilation within the property, including the use of extractor fans, trickle vents and maintaining airflow where possible.

Double and triple check the details when ordering
I had previously had a Rockdoor on a former home and been really impressed with it - which is why I again opted for Rockdoor when the front door needed replacing on my new home.
The only reason that I have not given 5 stars this time is that the door (fitted by one of the recommended installers) has clear glass meaning that people can see into the house. I had not ever seen a front door with anything other than opaque glass before so naively assumed that, as before, the door would have opaque glass to maintain privacy.
We have had to invest in stick on film to deal with this issue and I would therefore strongly recommend that anyone ordering a Rockdoor specifies exactly what sort of glass they want in their door.

This is a mixed review
This is a mixed review, and that is why I am giving 3 stars. The door itself is lovely visually and, when you look at it, it feels like a premium product. Unfortunately, the fitting process and aftercare experience were extremely disappointing.
The number of visits required after installation was excessive, and we experienced ongoing issues with rainwater leaking through the door and significant drafts. At one stage, we were literally using puppy pads to catch water coming in and large sheets of cardboard to help stop the cold air entering the house. For a door costing around £2,000, that simply should not happen.
What made the experience more frustrating was that after the nightmare with the fitting company, the manufacturer did not seem interested in helping resolve matters. I appreciate that fitting companies and manufacturers are separate, but from a customer perspective you buy into the whole brand experience, not just the product itself.
So overall, the door itself looks fantastic, but the installation and support side of things seriously let the experience down.
