I’m not sure where my detailed review for company went but i beg anyone with money they can’t afford to lose to not use this company. Long story short- paid for the service online, received the intro email from my writer within 24 hours (B.F. are his initials) .. scheduled the actual call and he was a no show for the scheduled time. Had to reach out to him for him to say ‘my son had a drs appt’ attempted to schedule the follow up and he went ghost for 6 days. All good I understand we’re all busy. When he finally wrote back I was able to get him on the phone a cpl days later and speak to him regarding my field and Direction. He asked for a previous resume for reference as well as my company’s job posting for my current role to which I sent thinking it was just for reference. Fast forward to over 19 days later I received the first draft and was about in tears over how bad the resume and cover letter were. He strung together dynamic words that made no literary sense for a totally incorrect job title. I’m a tech project manager. He had in bold ‘data entry manager’ with the most chaotic word string for that job. He took Every. Single. Bullet point from the job description page I sent him and placed it on my resume word for word. No personalization, numerical stats or anything. The cover letter brought the tears ( not to be dramatic but it was me thinking I was out of $250). The cover letter was a huge paragraph that looked like a copy and paste from poor engine search. Again, the biggest team work words you could find set up into a sentence. It made zero sense. Misspelled words and repeated bullet points. He pasted the bullet points word for word from a resume I provided him from 4 years prior on the cover letter with no Segway into why those bullets were there. There was no mention of my current role. The bullet points were from an admin role years prior. Called this out to him and it seemed he was receptive to the feedback. I ask for a follow up call so we could discuss what my role really was to get some quantitative stats on there and could not get him to reply for days. He sent a revised draft back where all he changed was the data entry manager title to tech project manager. No second version of the cover letter. And zero mention and zero work done on my linked in that was to be edited as well- which was prob for the best. When days went by where he wouldn’t confirm a follow up call, I requested a new writer via the companies site email and phone number. Zero response. I finally reached out to Brian to request a void in the process due to him clearly not having time nor experience with my field and he stated ‘I’m not in charge of refunds. Ill raise it with management.’ Quickest he ever wrote back only to never hear from him again. I disputed the charges via affirm and was given my money back thanks to my evidence. Please do not utilize this company. Strangest experience I’ve ever had and monumental waste of time.

Just wondering if this company is still in operation? I have reached out via the message option, email, and even attempted to call today (which i received a message stating it was no longer a working number). Perhaps I misdialed, but i haven't had a response to my digital queries and it's been more than a few weeks.

Very sh**ty experience. Please do NOT use these people’s services! I uploaded my resume for a free critique and did not hear back from them and then when I uploaded my resume again, I decided to send them a message stating that I did not hear back from them. The message was rude and uncalled for because I was being impatient, so I do deeply apologize for my actions. However, what still set me off was the way the CEO responded to my complaint. I told them my problem and then he personally sent an email saying “Your resume is queued to be reviewed, however, based on the content of your below message, we are not interested in doing business with you.” LOL I’ve never seen that. A company declining service to a client. It’s just not professional and it’s not ethical. I’m not too pressed about it anymore. I found a better site and I’m happy with it. That said, if there’s any sarcastic, snarky remark you’d like to make….feel free to share! I don’t mind the entertainment. :)

Edit 2: Alright, fine. I admit I was impatient and I shouldn’t have been and I revised my review to reflect that. I do sincerely apologize. That’s totally my bad. But the response this company gave was totally ridiculous. So much so that I’m not sure how it’s still in business.

great to work with, easy to understand made a great resume.

If your need a typing service and a bunch of fancy (misspelled) words on a piece of paper this is the service for you. If you need a resume that is readable & eye catching, DO NOT hire these people. Nxxx is slick talker, but no real service or guidance given. Before you realize, you have given final approval for a worthless piece of paper. Also, the LinkedIn service is an extra $60 for no service! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Update: 3/7/2023___ I was told having a name in the review was against the rules, so I have removed it. ResumePundits response to my review has been to call me a liar & to "F off". I think his response to proves my review & all the other truthful negative reviews. Who runs a business like that! PLEASE don't let them take your money.

Don't believe in the resume for life gimmick. Yes they will do your initial resume, however whenever you try to reach back out to them in the future they will ignore your calls. The only way I could get anyone on the line was to act like I was a new customer (bait and switch). When they realized I was a returning customer they just said someone would reach out to me and never did.

**UPDATE** :
Since posting my review the owner, Resume Pundits AKA Resume Pros, has bullied me with continuous intimidation & multiple changes to his story. The unwelcome behavior continues two weeks later. *Trustpilots requested the owner remove my personal information as it was retaliatory & against their policy.* I received confirmation via email a week ago. However, the owner is still fixated & determined to conduct unscrupulous business by returning to this forum (after prior numerous direct contact attempts) only to repost another link to my resume for retribution & petty insults. A poor review does not warrant harassment & will not be tolerated.

I did NOT submit approval of my edits NOR did I threaten a bad review. The owner understands these are false statements & therefore has no support to reflect his contrived notions. I have documentation of all communication with him and my intial writer for full transparency. My initial inquiry was not about the refund policy. Although, the mention of this is irrelevant because inquiring about a refund policy is common practice in business exchange & does not infer the outlandish suggestion of "blackmail."

Interestingly, A refund likely wouldn't have been authorized to me if it was requested with malicious intent. Shaming a former client & posting my resume is retribution. This forum is a resource for consumers to share information without reprisal.

How would an uninformed person not aware of the details discussed with the resume writer pertaining to my professional background be able to discern "errors." Im not suggesting typos. I'm referencing job descriptions incorrectly placed, specifically not corresponding with the correct job title. In addition to reference points that were misguided or left out. Certain relevant language that shouldnt have been altered, like my software experience.

Requesting a refund for dissatisfaction of service is NOT blackmail. Neither is posting a review. Resume Pundits/Resume Pros lacks BBB accreditation & has emphatically exhibited how unethical business is conducted.

I highly suggest conducting your due diligence in comparing Resume Pundits to other competitors with more comprehensive packages, established rapport & extensive feedback. RP’s reviews in contrast are quite limited & those that speak so highly are suspiciously repetitive. If you dig deeper, you’ll discover similar incidents of significant poor service.

My experience lies mostly within the unbelievable customer service I received. I was not content with the initial resume prepared due to multiple delays in communication & errors within my resume. The latter they dispute but if you’re providing such a customized service, attention to detail should be prioritized. The client should have a welcome forum to address concerns & constructive feedback without being chastised.

Although my request for reassignment was reasonable, I was dismissed for questioning the quality of work. This communication did not come from the resume writer, she had a pleasant attitude. Instead the owner, interacted with me in the most condescending customer service experience I’ve ever had.

He requested that I provide specific examples to which I asked for a brief call to review & ensure feedback was not lost in translation that may further delay the finished work. He welcomed me to contact him but provided unreachable phone numbers.

I did not feel confident utilizing the incomplete product provided. Nor was I satisfied with the lack of proactive measures taken. Therefore, I requested a refund via email & mentioned consumer reviews. This company also has reviews listed under "Resume Pros."

He responded by accusing me of attempting to blackmail him & threatened me. From his actual reply (for a refund request):

"You are not going continue to lie to steal from me, blackmail me and waste more of our days waiting on you. This is all we needed from you. You are about to learn a valuable lesson if you do not go away. Find out”

Shortly after sending that, he issued a refund & sent this:

“There you go.. you got what you came for.”

What I came for was to be treated with dignity & decency, not be disparaged.

This is my first experience enlisting the help of a resume writer. I was assigned Elisha who has been attentive, informative and helpful throughout the process. She's given suggestions when prompted, taken direction when needed and overall has been supportive in my career search.

I decided to try this site out instead of going back to Top Resume. At first I was super impressed with the customer service - they answered my questions quickly and paired me with a writer. The writer was friendly and prompt. I will say I wish this site matched you with a writer in the same country as you (I am in USA and she was in Canada), and a writer who is knowledgeable in the industry they are writing your resume on. The turn around time was said to be about 3 days and I waited over a week without a heads up. The resume written was totally off in regards to targeted roles I would be applying for, and had things on it I specifically said I didn't want to include on my resume. At the end of the day I am not happy with my resume, but that's the risk I took. I didn't want to ask for it to be written again because obviously the writer is not vetted in my industry and I didn't pay to tell someone how to write the resume. Lesson learned, so I just won't be back to this resume writing service.

I worked with Lauren Petrillo and she was great to work with, listened to what I needed to be updated, offered suggestions, was easy to get in touch with, and never made me feel bad if I wanted something changed or didn't like it. Highly recommend.

Nicole Sam is the best. There wasn't a 24 hour rush turnaround but definitely worth the wait!

April connected with me pretty quickly after I paid for the services. She had some good questions for me, to add pertinent information to my LONG resume. I wanted her to compact it to an acceptable length without leaving out important information.
I received the finished product quickly and it looked so much more polished. She did exactly what had requested the frst time. The cover letter was an added plus! I would use this servce again!

I purchased 0-5 years experience package including LinkedIn update in June 2021. I was contacted by a resume writer immediately after the payment, and I was happy about the resume I received. I forgot to ask LinkedIn update at that moment, so I recently called and emailed to Resume Pundits for LinkedIn and resume update. I contacted them numerous times but never received response so far. Resume pundits guarantees lifetime resume updates, but it seems it is extremely hard to receive the resume update service once the first service is done. I chosen Resume Pundits because they guarantees lifetime resume updates. There are plenty of resume writing services out there, so I would recommend you to but the service elsewhere.

I am completely satisfied with my resume that Nicole Sam wrote for me. She listened intently to all of the major details that I wanted included and included them in my resume I am very happy with how courteous and professional she was and she responded rapidly whenever I contacted her which is very important. I would highly recommend Nicole Sam if you need a resume!!
