I'm updating my review; reading it again, I think I was a too critical. I bumped my rating up from a 3 to 4.

I ordered a PR-1050 (short) rack and a good amount of bumpers from them recently. They was packaged and shipped quickly, I received everything I ordered including all of the components to make the rack and I had no need to contact customer service.

The PR-1050 Short rack Pros/Cons:
-Pros; overall, good quality in coating and functions well after 1 year.
-At the time, it cost $270 which (in hindsight) is an incredible value.
-There is a minor design flow (imo) in that weights placed on the weight horns (on the back post) hit the nut/bolt that keeps the back post attached just barely -- about 1/4 to 1/2 inch -- and causes the bottom bumper to sit uneven. I was concerned about damage/taco'ing over time, so I ordered a 5lb which elevates the stack over the nut/bolt. This seems like an easy fix, and something they should fix.

Bumpers:
-These are actually awesome and I have no cons. My bumpers all weigh exactly what they're supposed to!

TLDR:
The leadership at this company is not putting any noticeable effort in to providing better purchasing opportunities for out-of-stock items (which is everything; everything is out of stock and has been for 5+ months). I won't put in work/time for a company who cares so little about new customers, regardless of their reputation or quality products. I'm going with Rogue Fitness instead - might cost me 10% more and I'll have to wait a bit, but I'm guaranteed to get the products I want without having to keep track of ETAs and checking their site everyday.

If you've decided to go with REP for your fitness equipment, just be prepared to check their ETA page, site and Instagram everyday for months before even having the opportunity to purchase a bench/rack/plates etc.

Long version:
I've been planning to drop a good chunk of money to equip my garage gym with some high quality gear. After months of research I decided to go with REP Fitness for there high quality/affordable racks, benches, plates, etc.

Almost everything worth buying from their site is out of stock; which is sort of understandable due to COVID. However, we've been dealing with COVID in the U.S.A. since March-ish (approx 9 months), and REP still hasn't provided any official in-stock notifications or pre-purchase options. I've been trying to buy a rack and adjustable bench from their site for 5+ months now, and it doesn't seem to matter how early in the day I check, I can't lock any purchases down.

I contacted support to see if there was anything I could do to improve my chances of getting one of these products while they were in stock, and the response I received was "Follow us on Instagram". No email or text options, no ideal time to check for in-stock items, no pre-order or reserve options; just Instagram and luck.
If you follow their Instagram page you get mostly posts that show off their nice products which is great for marketing, but for every post there are at least 2 comments that say something like "Nice! But when will it be available again...." or "Is this in stock yet??".

At the end of the day I don't care if I need to wait for a quality product, but I'm not going to put in work everyday for a small chance of buying a product that I can get elsewhere, especially when the leadership at this company clearly hasn't prioritized getting business from new customers. They must see stock selling out and think they are winning, but many new customers are turning to other options.

They obviously have a decent marketing team though, so they'll probably read this: My advice - get your sales people off their bums, and have them start doing some actual work like handling timely mass email/text notifications for....

- When a truck is expected and what's items are expected to be included.
- When said truck arrives, "Truck is here! Our site is being updated as it's unloaded!"
- When items are available "AB5000 is in, only 10 left, go go go!"

...instead of waiting months for your software development team to make it all automated.

For those that made it this far, I went with Rogue Fitness. Yeah they are more expensive, but they know how to run a damn business while still providing high quality products

These guys are awesome. For context, I ordered a couple of 10 lb Olympic plates from another small fitness company 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received them. Four days ago, I ordered an AB5000 from Rep - the best bench there is, btw. They shipped it the next day and it arrived 2 days later. A 100 lb bench to Maryland from Colorado in 3 days is pretty awesome, given the state of the home gym market during the pandemic. Also, the military discount is much appreciated. I will definitely be returning to Rep in the future!

I know it's covid, but the ETAs are such a lie. Why even list an ETA if these is never anything in stock? Selling out quickly isn't a good reason. It's clear there is no inventory or some get preferred treatment. And no, following on social media doesn't work. They just want more followers.

I place the order first week of september 2020 according to tracking number they give me estimated delivery date october 5 2020 but until now no delivery happen .tracking said still in shanghai. sent them dozen of email but this company doesn’t reply. i have a feeling i’m been scam by this company . i have to file a dispute thru Paypal to get my $1000.00 back but until now no result yet. Please Avoid Doing Business With this Seller they are only good communicating in the beginning to get your money after that their not communicating with you . Big mistake to trust this company.

Sent the wrong item. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM OR THEY WILL GET YOUR ORDER WRONG. Go somewhere else.

Had nothing but great experience with Rep Fitness everything ships quickly and arrives in great condition. People understand your not buying from rogue your paying less for a great product still. The people saying this and that need to understand that these things happened all over fitness companies. There not at fault for broken supply chains and a huge demand that they have to keep up with. This company has rescued my plans of beginning a home gym. 85 percent of my home gym is consist of rep fitness. I, also purchased from Rogue and bells of steel, and titan fitness so I’m not bias. All other companies have very short supply of gym equipment daily the few places are rogue and rep fitness. You can go with rogue but expensive and rep fitness doesn’t charge an arm and a leg it’s just right. People claiming bad customer service and receiving generic emails you have to understand there getting thousands daily.

Not sure why so many 1 star reviews about their customer service experience but mine has been great. Spent over 3K buying their products one by one and so far, they helped me with all the issues I have had. Yea their products are made in China but the quality is practically the same as others.

Although I've recently ordered really good quality kettlebells from this company and received them just yesterday at a expected delivery date, I think this brand definitely needs to expand a bit more because their equipment is on very high demand with orders and angry customers upset that their items are not delivered and delayed. A family business? C'mon. With alot of orders going on, this company has to get bigger like Rogue fitness. I was one of those customers who went through that lobby lottery thing that came up a month ago and didn't like the idea of it as I was put in 11,000+ person in line. I was originally gonna buy a set of weight plates but the long wait took so long that the plates ended up being out of stock again and I decided to give up and instead buy kettlebells.
Overall tho, if you're patient enough to wait on this company to deliver equipment you order from them, it's very worth it, as the pair of bells i just got which are 45lbs are really good quality and Im pretty sure everything else on their website is as well! If you're not patient enough to wait, then obviously I would suggest searching other brands like Rogue or others for gym equipment that will ship faster. But the again, you won't know if they will ship fast because gym equipment at this time in a pandemic are very high on demand.
(I suggest however to stay away from D's sporting goods for gym equipment as their shipping handling of products terrible!)

I tried ordering a PR 4000 during a small window of availability during this gym shutdown/COVID pandemic and I was unable to add to cart due to a glitch. I emailed customer service and got in contact with a CS member named Brandi. Not only did she help me complete the order through email, she was able to adjust it prior to shipping. She helped answer questions, she responded faster than their site says they are able to, and she’s beyond amazing! I know Rep hired more people to deal with the huge influx of business and honestly, they should hire as many employees like Brandi as possible! I can’t wait for my items to arrive and I feel comfortable knowing that whatever happens, I can contact a real person quickly, get answers to my questions, and protect my investment. They have a customer for life and I will be purchasing my equipment through them in the future. Thank you Rep for handling this increase in demand gracefully and thank you Brandi for allowing me to take up some of your time.

Pitiful customer service. I want to shop REP because I live and run my business in Colorado. Every order I have had a bad customer service experience. Whether it’s a rude kid or a long wait only to find the staff goofing off in the back instead of retrieving my order.The quality is good, but no where near the quality of Rogue. I asked if they would do a special pre-order for Colorado small businesses instead of putting me in a que where Im number 16,000 in line to buy equipment. They said no. Ill stick with Rogue.

This has to be the WORST order I hav EVER done in my life!!!! A true regret!!!! I ordered a bench AB-3000 FID Bench in RED. Almost a month ago & yet it shows that it is processing. I hav been patient due to the epidemic we are in. BUT they hav NO communication w/ customers!!! I hav call, straight to voicemail & the emails send com back as MAILER-DEAMON!!! As a company......who does that?!?!?!? Very unprofessional!!! Now what?!?!?! WORST EVER!!!!

Don't bother even trying to order from them. They open up their web store for orders and put you in a queue with 50K+ other people, and then when your turn comes up after a few hours everything is sold by the time you can get it in your cart. Big waste of time! I complained on their Facebook page out of frustration and they blocked me, which is the best way to get me to post bad reviews to every site I can.

I just tried to buy the pr-4000 power rack after waiting online for 40 mins being put on online waiting list finally got thru to website then the website was running real slow couldn't order sloppy online experience I'm taking my business elsewhere

All positive experiences dealing with them. Their customer has been very helpful. I understand everything has been busy but they still met all our needs for a home gym. Replies were answered within time period it said it was. Quality racks , bumper and kettle bells. No issues.

This is a follow up review. I realize it is a review for Rep, which we all know sucks big time. After visiting Rep's site and seeing that nothing has changed, I thought I'd let others know there is a FAR BETTER solution for gym equipment: Wilder Fitness.

I bought from Wilder Fitness and get a commercial grade 0-90 degree bench and half rack. Both came with a high-quality powder-coated paint job in my choice of colors, solid upholstery, again in the color of my choice, AND it included my logo everywhere on the equipment.

The equipment is solid, made of 11 and 7 gauge steel, right here in the US. The bench was half the cost of Rep's and included a spotting deck, protected wheels, a more ergonomic handle, AND it stores upright! The half rack came with j-hooks, guards, holsters for two bars, hooks for storing equipment, pegs for resistance bands and a pull-up bar, in addition of course to the pegs for plate storage. Everything about the rack was well-designed, including the slight angle on the plate storage pegs.

And get this: With Wilder--From the day I ordered to my front door in exactly ONE WEEK! I've been working out for weeks, while people are holding their breath waiting to get Chinese-made equipment from Rep Fitness. People, wake up! LOL.

Same experience as everyone else. Spent thousands only to have the shipment delayed by months. After sending them a dozen emails I received one response stating saying they grossly oversold their stock and my order was affected. Offered a 10 dollar promo code which as everyone has already stated is just an insult.

I understand they were flooded with demand but that doesn't excuse butchering your business model. No communication, failures in understanding your own inventory potential, etc etc. The company is a f*king disaster at the moment. Save for another week or two and buy from Rogue. I promise you it's worth avoiding the hell the rest of us are currently experiencing.

Like many on here reviewing Rep, I understand that with the world shut down shipping times may be extended. That’s not what has happened to me and from what I see here many others. I ordered $3500 worth of equipment from this company in early March when they had an open ore order period. My expected ship date was 4/30-5/14, cool. When pre ordering opened again in April I ordered more equipment. That expected ship date was 6/15-6/30. Also just fine. When it got close to the end of April I decided to email to see if there was a closer idea on ship date because I was finishing up some things in my basement and wanted to know how much time I had. This was the response I received; “ Hey Jeremiah, Thanks for reaching out to us so that we can help.
As a member of the Customer Service Team, I apologize for the lack of communication as we have been fielding an extremely high volume of emails, and handle each request individually, which takes some time.

It has recently come to our attention that we ran into an error in our system that caused us to oversell some items unbeknownst to us. After reviewing your recent order, it does appear that it was affected and we are unable to fulfill the Iron Plates and PR-1100 within the original time window.

We are so sorry about this! We do have several waves of shipment coming in the next month, but due to the amount of Pre-orders in our system, it is difficult to gauge exactly when your order will ship.
The new time window we were given was the June 15 – June 30 range. We will know more accurate ETAs as shipment comes in and our system allocates to Pre-Orders.

Please let me know if you would like to continue to wait, or prefer to amend/cancel/refund your order.

After this the company sent a generic email that pretty much mirrored this with the exception of the admission that they oversold the product “unbeknownst” to them. That’s complete BS and I’m pretty sure anyone else reading this that’s in my same position would agree. At some point emailing back and forth with them they offered me to cancel the order and be refunded, adjust the order or just hand out and wait. I’ve already invested a ton of money and prepared so obviously I’m kinda stuck waiting. The complete kick in the balls was their joke of offering $10 off my next order for the inconvenience. After I get this equipment, whenever the hell that will be, I have zero intention of ever doing business with this company again. I will pay double and go to Rogue at this point. $10?! What a f’ing joke.

Like many of you, I Am in the middle of designing a home gym due to the current societal shutdown . Also like you, I have researched and sought the best bang for my Buck equipment to outfit said gym.

Low and behold I find rep fitness . I ordered several random things and they came quickly and work great. Then, once preorders opened up, I bought the FT5000 functional trainer . It finally came, and I was ecstatic . Upon assembly , however , I discovered a glaring defect in the welding of the side panel. This causes the pulley whee to scrape on the side as it turns creating friction which not only causes a base difference in left and right resistance weights, but creates dangerous jerking movements and also will grind down the pulley wheel Over time.

I have contacted them no less than 12 times during the past week. Their phones are down and you must contact them by email. 11 of my emails have gone ignored and the one response I got is an employee promising someone would call me the next day, which never happened.

I have now opened a fraud claim with my card issuing bank On the grounds of an item Being significantly not as described ( I paid for a working and functional FT, which I did not receive) I was also smart enough to document every single email and call and provided my bank With video and photographic evidence of the machine .

I posted a review on their site with one star and they took it down within twenty minutes , which also demonstrates that you cannot trust their reviews, since they delete any negative ones.

BEWARE, folks, pay a little more and go elsewhere . I wish I had.

Customer service is awful.

I understand that we are having a rough time due to the Covid-19, but EVERYONE is, not just this company. I placed an order 2 weeks ago for a black medium sandbag and a black large sandbag. Upon placing the order, I was notified that there may be a shipping delay of up to 7 days on UPS Ground Shipping. Today has marked 2 weeks since I have placed the order and I have emailed multiple times and in turn have only received vague responses on the status of my order.

A week ago, on April 1st 2020, I inquired about the status of my order Laurel Heggernes told me that the warehouse crew has already started working on the order and that it should be shipped out within the next day or so. Two days later, April 3rd 2020, I emailed and inquired about my order since I still had not received a shipping confirmation or any email at all. The next day, April 4th 2020, Liberty Nelson told me that she would talk to the order processor for ground and let me know a better time frame than “a day or so”. Today is April 8th and I emailed them again because I never received an update on the order from Liberty Nelson or any other customer service reps.

Liberty replied to the message and said, "Looks like we over sold on your Black sand bag, we can refund you the amount or we can cancel the rest of your order." Okay, so from my point of view, it took you two weeks to tell me that the color that I ordered is out of stock. Would you have told me if I hadn't asked so many times? So I responded to her message and told her that I would be willing to receive whatever color they had available.

She responded, "all fixed".

I'm sorry, but what does "all fixed" mean?? She says, "it will be sent out now".

By this point, I am getting very frustrated because 1.) You still have not given me a date or time that the order will be shipped, 2.) You couldn't at least tell me the color that you were substituting what I paid for with, and 3.) it has taken 2 weeks to get to this conclusion.

The customer service is awful. As someone who has worked in customer service their entire career, I have never dealt with a company who really has no concern with whether their customers leave satisfied.

I still have not received an email stating that my order has shipped, and customer service has not given me a date or estimated date as to when it will ship. This whole experience seems like a scam and I would never recommend Rep Fitness to anyone.
