🚨⚠️ Horrible Hotel, avoid at all costs ⚠️🚨
The basic room in this hotel is horrible. Don't be fooled by the lower prices compared to other Hotels in Hong Kong, the basic room is barely a step up from a hostel experience.
Cons
- The bed is as hard as rock.
- The pillow is extremely low and uncomfortable.
- The bed sheets smell like smoke and pollution.
- The AC system must be extremely dusty, because I had allergic rhinitis after the first day sleeping here and completely wasted one full week of my holiday to recover. I've had to buy an air purifier for the room.
- Everything is old, the big shower head doesn't work and the bathroom floor floods after each use.
- The guests staying at this hotel are rude, probably because of the lower price it attracts a cheap clientele.
- The reception never picks up the phone.
Pros
- The location is okay(ish), it's near a bus stop with the hotel's name and a walk away from the MTR.
- The cleaning ladies are good and do the best they can. They've had to replace the tissue paper box several times since I can't stop sneezing. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels replaced.
- The toilet 🚽 is American Standard, large and comfortable for you to do your business.
Overall, think twice before Booking the basic rooms. I'm half way through my holiday, but I can't stay here any longer. I simply cannot sleep, I'm still jet-lagged and ill. My booking is non-refundable, but I'll have to move to a better hotel, I can't stand being this uncomfortable anymore.
This is a clear example of the cheap that ended up being expensive, since I'll have to Book another hotel and waste my money here. Never before have I ever left a Hotel halfway through my stay. If regret could kill, I'd be dead by now, since I regret ever considering Booking this hotel.
