GOT ME THROUGH STRAIGHTAWAY, RESPONDED TO ME EMAIL IMMEDIATLEY

I used booth at Sainsbury's Bicester. The machine is easy to use. I used the machine few times until I got the photo I liked. The problem occurred when photo got printed. My face in it looks like I got burnt in the sun, or rosacea. I have neither. Also, my hair looks red, but I dont have red hair either. Has anyone else experienced same issue?

There is no option to download my digital photo. All applications are digital these days. I have no need for the print outs. It’s the digital copy I need. The code doesn’t even work for an oyster zip card application which is a form of ID. £10 and only able to use the code once for a passport photo is shockingly bad deal. And the photo gets deleted after 30 days so it really is a once use image. Throughly disappointed. Won’t use this booth again. In fact I will be emailing for a refund.

What a waste of time !!!!
I wanted both printed and digital photos.
The website give absolutely no information on how I can download my digital copies. The best I could get online was to do it through a passport application. Unfortunately the code is not even recognised.
I would recommend going to a shop and not wasting your time with photo-me

Irish Passport photo's do NOT work the code now works ok. however, the pictures that the machine produces are not acceptable on Irish online application.
These photo's are simple head shots the Irish Passport ofc require a head and shoulders slightly distanced shot.
You have to ensure that you choose the Irish not UK option for the code to work. Still pointless if photo's rejected.
Also no telephone number for Customer Service just email or chat.

I have done my washing ,now unable to dry as the card and cash are both saying unavailable !!I can't contact anyone I have to now go back to get bags to collect a load if wet washing !!!

Complete rubbish and a waste of time. Could not get an ID photo no matter what I did. The machine is prejudiced against people like myself (at 4ft 8in vertically challenged) the seat would not rise high enough for me to get my face within the marker for the photo to be 'approved' as ID. I tried standing but with painful arthritis in my knees, was unable to stand in that position for the time the machine took to decide it might photo me. Absolute waste of time and space. What a pity that such 'services' are not available to all.

I just wasted £10 to get a photo for an Irish passport in the UK. The code does not work :(
So I thought I could download the picture with my code. Can't do that either. I have wasted £10 on the most useless service ever.
Also, I am 6ft 4in and the camera does not go high enough so I had to sit awkwardly to get a photo.

I agree with @Lisa Kendrick. Why does Photo-Me not tell its customers at point of purchase that digital images cannot be downloaded quickly? And why does its website give no information about how to download? The whole process is obscure when, with little effort on the company's part, it could be clear. Inevitably, but no less objectionably for that, the customer inquiries email is staffed by bots that can't cope with human questions.

No link, qr code or address on the photo to point you to where to dl your photo or as I want, the receipt, nothing on the website, why on earth have you made something easy so annoying.

Having read the number of fails since taking the pics I have no faith it's going to be acceptable for passport.

My son paid for his passport photo but it was rejected on the .gov application. He did not tell me initially due to my ill health. When I found him upset I asked what was wrong and he told me the photo was rejected. As we do not have spare money he is not able to get the photos done again and has therefore lost out on the plans he’s saved long and hard for. I contacted the company as when I looked it said the photos were guaranteed. Because they ran out the day before I contacted them they refused my son a refund. I have asked where it states in the terms of the guarantee that they need to be contacted within that time and they cannot answer but also will not refund.
I am reporting them as advised as they did not fulfill the guarantee. I will be advising everyone not to use them.

Hi can someone point me in the right direction. Where is a Photo Booth in the Camden area need the code to renew my Irish passport.

Inability to download the photo is a massive fail on their behalf. I can't believe this. Only useful if you're applying for a British passport or want a printed copy.

Same issue as another reviewer. I've taken a UK passport quality photo but I do not wish to apply for a passport at this time.

I just want to be able to download the photo I paid £10 for.

On the printouts, there is no download link except for the UK passport application one. There used to be one.

worst experience, cannot download digital copy for US application

Used a photo me booth to obtain a photo for a passport renewal. Passport Authority rejected the photo as it would not “crop”.

Don’t bother as you’ll pay good money for something that does not work.

Getting a digital copy is an absolute nightmare. No direction on any of the seemingly hundreds of websites. Too expensive aswell

No link to download your photograph and when you do eventually manage to find a random link it takes you to the irish portal.
Eventually figured out you have to go to gov.uk and APPLY for a passport and then only can you download the photograph.
Instructions are woeful!
An hour of my life wasted.

Machine in Boots was happy to take my photo and my money - but then suddenly said it was unavailable and wouldn't print the photos. Machines are going to go down sometimes - but they should tell you straight away before taking your money.

And worse - call the number they offer to get a refund and it tells you to go to their appallingly-designed website where getting a refund is quite a stress. Starts to feel like they'd rather you just take the hit.
