You buy something for £100 or £10000 when its "in stock" only to be told its not in stock but still shows as in stock on the website. They take your money knowing theyre being scammy. Not to mention they need you asking them about 100 times for a refund. THERE WEBSITE DESERVES TO BE TAKEN DOWN!

I've never written a review before, for anything. But this is the first time i've ever had service this bad. Ordered a hard drive in January. Item arrived but was faulty (tested on 2 machines). You return it yes? About that...

This is where any customer service stopped. No return info in the packaging so you call right? (A) Phone never gets answered and you get dumped off the call after about 40 minutes. Try again, same. Try again, same. You try the 'online agent'. 15 minutes wait, no agent to chat. Try again, same. Try again, same. This goes on for 2 days and finally by some stroke of luch you get to chat online. They send DPD to pick up the faulty drive.

Email then states: You will receive a credit note when we recieve it. If you require a refund contact us when the credit note appears on your PCWB account online. No credit note appears after 2 weeks.

Then back to (A)

I called my bank today and launched a charge back. First time i've ever done that too. Here's another first, do not ever order from this company. If you think for some strange reason that Curry's/PC World are a reputable company, you are vastly mistaken.

I WOULD GIVE IT 0 stars IF A COULD. I ordered a laptop beginning of January and didn't receive it, I tried to call them but couldn't reach, I went to the store they kept on giving me different dates and that I would receive a message when my order is ready but never receive any, so I canceled my order in the store, but didn't get my money back, the web chat is useless and they would not help you, so I contacted the bank and get my money back as I paid with credit card.

I placed an order and I did NOT received the item yet. I couldn't reach anyone on their phone lines. The webchat failed to connect to an agent every time I have attempted to use it. The Chat bots are totally useless. NO ONE at any of the THREE stores I visited to seek help were interested or capable of helping with the whereabouts of my order. The service I have received is shocking. You should NOT list your store as a place to get help for online orders. As yet,no reply

Awful service, spent £3400 on an item "in stock" told the next day there's no stock, the website still showed stock the next day so many other poor saps getting hooked in. Refund policy is 5 working days!!! and even then they do not honour it. They've had my money for 14 days now. Keeping the financial turnover high to look good no doubt.
Can't call them, the online chat takes 30 min for someone to tell you the department is busy and there's no date they can give me my money back.

Don't ever shop their sales! If I'd known there was "no stock" I would've gone somewhere else, but by the time I found that out the sales had ended elsewhere 😠
Conveniently for them, the stock reappears after the two week period at the normal price, but apparently they don't have to honour your paid price!

If you could give a zero rating I would!

Absolutely appalling service. Customer services terminate calls, web chat is useless unless you are want to place an order (yes they will continue to happily take your money). My order, which has now been placed 3 times with alternatives, has never ever been dispatched; I question that the money should ever have been taken.

Hours on hold, hours of waiting for an appropriate agent on web chat, weeks of waiting for a response via an email - I’m still waiting! No refund...and it doesn’t look like I will actually get one. Like many others, I’ve had to contact my credit card provider to help! Absolute scammers - AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Ordered an GPU for £650. The next day, I receive an email saying the GPU has become unavailable. When I call them to get a refund, they tell me to write them an email, but I've sent two, and they still haven't replied in over a week. Their live chat also doesn't work. I'm going to have to get a chargeback from my bank. They're just withholding my money, so I can't even buy a GPU from elsewhere.

I ordered a number of high value in stock items, received an email the following morning stating dispatch failed, a promise of a refund within 5 business days. Web Chat/Emails/Phone unable to help, I'm now contacting my credit card company for a charge back. Scammers.

Very poor service, very hard to get to speak to anyone regarding purchase.

Ordered a GPU for 500 Pounds. Been two weeks and still have not been refunded. About to file a charge back. Dont buy from these scammers!

3 weeks with no update, to find out there is no stock. After trying to make contact with PCWB for 2 weeks via Web chat, email and Phone.

Still waiting for cancelation confirmation and refund.

OMG, I wish I had read reviews here too.
I ordered a £399.99 item that showed as in stock. The next day had an email stating dispatch failure. All phone lines busy, web chat never works, customer service do not answer any emails.
My account also now won’t log in saying wrong password even though correct, and ‘request password reset’ I get no email.
I have also taken this up with my bank as basically have been scammed/robbed.

It's been more than 3 months that I am trying to get refund on the installation that was not carried out. I spent hours on calls with customer support over the last few months. Each time I called I was told that it would be processed within the next 3 days .. No one to take ownership there.. Disappointing .. Never again will I use PCWB.

Terrible company. Ordered something worth £1700 that was cancelled the same day due to it being “unavailable” 2 weeks later and I’m still waiting for my refund.

Filed a chargeback with my credit card because these scammers seem to be doing everything they can to not give my my money back.

Wish I'd read reviews before ordering. Just make sure you buy with a credit card... or not at all!

Ordered a £499.99 item on the 30th January. Received a email on on 1st February stating the item wasn’t available. I immediately requested a refund which I am still waiting for. They do not answer email, phone or online chat. They have effectively stolen my money at this point. I will be raising a small claims court case this week to get my money back.
Be warned - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Please do not purchase. Bought my 1st All in one P.C on the 6th January for £1500 to move into my new office. Fair enough computer had a faulty screen but I have had endless calls of over an hour at a time to get a refund in the mean while I purchased the same computer for another £1500 so a 3k layout.
This computer is also faulty managed to get intouch last Thursday. Customer service asked me to fill out form and will be collected within 24/48hrs 8 days later no further contact have been passed through department after department to have phone hung up. Then told only communication is via online chat which dose not work. I have been misled left frustrated and wasted hrs upon hrs plus been left without being able to conduct business and have not even had a reply to several emails.
Disgusted if anyone bothers to read the comments from currys please get in touch to resolve issues.
