I have always had the pleasure of dealing with dark hair against pretty fair skin (Northern Med family) and over the years certain areas became a real issue for me. In particular, facial hair!

After trying the usual many times, such as waxing, shaving and tweezing (the latter I became addicted to) I realised my confidence had been hit hard. I was spending at least an hour every evening dedicated to removing hair on my chin and upper lip.

I had always strived hard to make a good impression in work and out, with clients, friends and family, but I was embarassed to get close to anyone through fear of them noticing hairs or marks where I had plucked.

I had enough and saw an offer for laser treatment. I went for it!

It's the best decision I have made (apart from the partner and child of course!). June and Raz are absolutely lovely - very friendly and down-to-earth. They made me feel relaxed and respected, despite the hair problems! June is great at talking through the improvements also and does a fantastic job with the laser.

After the first session, I already noticed a difference. You can feel the laser working during the session, but not as uncomfortable as waxing! As time went on you actively try to smell the buring hairs...

I am nearing the end of my six sessions, and I can honestly say that I am virtually hair free in my 'trouble' facial areas. My confidence has grown, I'm happy, my partner is happy, now I am just thinking about what I can get done next...

Went to the Nottingham Clinic.
Bought a Groupon for 6 laser hair removal sessions. 2 small areas or 1 medium area (underarms, as stated in small print). Was only given 3 treatments, after I questioned this I was told in a very patronising way "didn't you read the small print?", the small print said 6, so I expected 6. Staff were uninterested in any questions I had, and tried to sell me more and more sessions afterwards to finish a course off!

Very in-and-out, >10 minute treatment time, not personal at all, no after care, questions not answered, only speak to you to try and sell you more sessions, certainly wouldn't go back!

Also worth noting every review on this site for anything other than boob jobs is negative! Says a lot.

Felt really nervous about attending Harley street for a facial peel! But from the moment I arrived at the door, I was greeted and treated like a friend and a valued customer! Amazing!!!

I have a number of sessions of laser hair removal and really seeing the results now .amazing ! June and every one I met at the clinic were so friendly .I can really recommend this clinic to any one .

there are other clinics with a higher standard of service.
I was booked into the Liverpool clinic by mistake and turned up at the Nottingham clinic as I had wanted on the date and time to find it closed.
when I rang them they admitted I had been booked into the wrong clinic.
I complained as I had wasted a day off and wasted petrol.i received an apology by email but no offer of discounted treatment,very disappointed.

Ii went to the clinic to have a filler between my eyes the lady told me I would be better to have Botox which cost me more money ...this didn't work to I rang to complain I was told that I could go back and have it done agon for free so after waiting another 4 weeks I went to have it done ...only to be told I should have had it filled not have the Botox I was told i I would be charged to have it filled need less to say I didn't bother getting it done ...already lost money on the Botox ...would not go there again to me they only want your money not a very friendly bunch ...

Every time I have visited NU Clinic the staff have been really helpful and everything has been really efficient. The discount through Groupon was great and I would recommend this deal to a friend.

Had a course of laser hair removal with good results but I would never go back for anything else. I found the staff rush you, often questionably skipping or skimming over areas instead of fully covering the area as is necessary. On several occasions I had to say "have you done this bit?" etc on one occasion an area was totally skipped and when I mentioned it I was told it didn't matter as she had done the area adjacent and the light would of gotten them hairs anyway from that... simply not true, especially as we are talking about laser hair removal not ipl, the machine is pressed down upon the area to be treated the light is not present anywhere but where it is applied. I didn't call her out on what she had said, as she is meant to be an expert, so had to let that be, but the results proved I was right, as the area she didnt touch lost nothing, whereas everywhere she did do got great results. I think for the amount of money it costs she should spend a few more minutes making sure she has covered everywhere. One more thing to note is they class each armpit as a separate area - a way to get you to pay more I think as who on earth would only want one armpit to be hair-free yet continue to shave the other? They also falsely led me to thinking I had to buy a course of treatment (I only had very very little hair after previously having had ipl) when it later transpired that I could of just paid for one-offs as necessary saving money... when I found this out I asked if I could have the remainder of the course transferred to a new area they said no its against their policy and they wouldn't refund the unused part either. Eventually I managed to get management to transfer to another area but there was a lot of emails, phone calls and attitude to contend with along the way. To summerise I would recommend laser hair removal but I wouldnt go to the NU clinic in Nottingham. I do think however that NU in other locations may be fine. If you cant get to a different location than go to a different clinic.

I went for Mole Removal with Nu in their Liverpool clinic when i was just accompanying my friend for her treatment. I was seen by one of their surgeons and was advised it to be removed and was sent for test. Results were shared with me and my GP who after seeing was recommended for further checks on NHS. I am really grateful that accidental discovery had lead to through scan and i am assured it is not cancerous. Feel grateful to Nu team who gave me honest advice and aftercare as required. Will highly recommend.

NU Clinic is worth going to, the staff are funny, friendly, reassuring and no way judgemental. I achieved excellent results with my treatments and booked myself in for more! One place you won't be wasting your money in.

I went to the clinic, the woman was 45 minutes late I did not find this out until arrived, I could not have a drink while I was waiting as they had ran out of milk, the treatment was not as expected, I was asked if I had any make up on then the gel was put on my skin for a minute then washed off with cold water and sun screen was applied, the whole thing lasted about 3 minutes and did not have the cleanse to start with as I thought and expected a peel not gel that just burnt my skin it was quite painful, I think it was a waste of time and money and was very disappointed.

Results are amazing. Course of 6 Laser sessions. Treatment quick and not uncomfortable. Results after first session brilliant. Nearly finished course and would recommend to anyone (guys that includes you too). No more shaving underarms . Staff lovely and very experienced. Will be going back for other treatments.

I found the staff at NU Cosmetic clinics very friendly and efficient. The nurse who I dealt with was very down to earth and really put me at ease.

I look forward to returning to the clinic again in the near future.

I do not have any complaints with the clinic itself or the practitioner that perfomed my procedure, however I do think that Nu Clinic used Wowcher to rip off their clients by offering dermal filler for one area and when I arrived, it only included half a syringe when it is widely known that you need a minimum of a whole 1ml syringe to even make an impact of one area.
As such I was left very disappointed with the result.

There is now another Wowcher offer for dermal fillers by Andrew Carr Aesthetics, also in Harley Street and they are much clearer in their offer actually stating the amount of filler the offer includes.
I paid 89.00 for a half syringe and Andrew Carr's offer is 99.00 for a whole syringe!

As such I am not only disappointed with the result but I also feel completely swindled by Nu Cosmetics

I had mr mashhadi as my surgeon as I cant praise him enough.
He was very true full in my first consultation saying about the shape and drop in my breast and what he suggested, I had a think about what he said and went with his suggestions and im so happy with the results. I couldn't ask for a better look, his lifted them and there perfect shape and size now.
He even sent me a boob belt in the post to help me support the muscles As he put the implants high to lift my breast.

I would go back again, felt at ease and made welcome no long waiting to be seen and made welcome and comfortable.

Fab address, reception, surgery itself a little disappointing, but the staff were friendly and the overall experience was good.

I have had my groupon glycolic peel there. all professional and quick.

Clean and felt comfortable. Friendly staff .answered any questions. Would go back if groupon put on another voucher
