We had problem with 2 vans on the same day. This didn;t give Reebecca and her tem much notice to act, but they did. One van off the rod and a replacemnt supplied and parts ordered for the other. Can't complain when you receibe such good service.

Rented a van from January 2021 to June 2022 and what an absolute joke these people are.....

I've been spending four weeks trying to shorten this review for people to read it in full, and not fall asleep half way through page 93 paragraph 10.

Always a problem getting van in for repair or service as they never have the staff on to cope with demand.

You can increase your mileage as your renting to save the excess mileage says my useless account manager, wrong info Sir you end up paying nearly £1100 every four weeks for a 75.000 mile a year allowance, to be charged over THREE AND HALF GRAND for excess mileage when I gave the van back. I was shocked.

I was told by my local branch in Swansea that if I had a bump or a nasty scrape to get it fixed by a local garage otherwise you'll be charged extortionate amount by Northgate to rectify this. I done just that and then was told by head office these were done to a bad standard and work would have to be done to rectify it, I swear the mark on it was the size of a 50p piece and a small dent on the sliding door where you always have them half way up the door where you use your right hand to make sure you are shutting the door tightly. I was told the side of the van would have to be resprayed and a brand new sliding door would have to be replaced for a small dent?? Yeah right....

I even went to the trouble of repairing the work I inherited (again) from previous people renting the van and not having repairs done (£2000 it cost me).

Last summer I had a nasty accident on the motorway and wrote the previous van off I had and then after Northgate were told by myself and my insurance not to start work on van until a representative seen it, and nope they never listened and started stripping the van down to repair it and then when the insurance written it off I was charged for that labour they spent on the van, which I was invoiced for, previous damage that was already on the van I was charged for, four days they had the van off the road, I was charged for, plus other stuff which I cannot remember I was charged for, that invoice came to just over two grand, so totalling up what I've paid them for that plus the apparent damage on the van they asked for back (due to a month of not giving them the rent) plus the new sliding door etc etc I will be paying out over £7000!!!!! Plus over £15000 in rental they've had off me for rent, it's safe to say I'm no longer in business, I've lost nearly everything, and they have the cheek to send me to court cause they not happy with £40 repayment.

Like I said I cannot be spending days and days writing this review out boring you to death, but things have to be said to stop other people falling into the trap.

I did forget to say in my original post on here, that I put a new order in for a new van back in November but when I asked Lewis Roberts in January how the order was coming on, and he replied saying what van?? He lost the order but wouldn't admit it, like I said absolutely shocking service, glad I'm out of it!!!
