I have just completed my onboarding stage and Hannah Richards made it quite easy for me. She was patient and very professional. She also ensured to explain in detail all information needed and she promptly responded to all my emails.
The recruitment process was overall very straightforward. From filling the application to the telephone interview by Christine Burke who was also patient enough to explain the role and all involved in detail.
The interview and assessment day to was fair, pretty straightforward and centred around the role.
It had so far been a great experience before and throughout the onboarding journey, including the three days training.

The onboarding process was straightforward but there should be a way document verification should be conducted online instead of in people.

Every interaction I have with NHS-P as a locum is the most painful process possible. The majority of the operation is now outsourced, and with that comes nothing but problems.

There is zero pride or proactivity in the work, the ethos seems to be "get it off my desk as fast as possible so I can tell my manager in the UK it is done" regardless of whether or not it actually is.

The application process is easily the most painful I've ever been through in 15+ years of work. I was constantly given incorrect information, constantly left chasing people, and constantly delayed.

The recruitment team are unbelievably lazy and have no interest in their work. They consistently send one email a day, at the close of business, usually containing copy and pasted information that is incorrect. They make mistakes at every single step, and take zero responsibility - it is always someone else's fault, there is always an excuse, there is always some way to fob you off.

Every time I've had the misfortune of dealing with NHS-P I've had to eventually involve a UK manager because the process is so poor. They have consistently delayed my start dates by over 2 weeks every single time I've had to use them.

They are an immoral business run by execs that only care about the bottom line. If they are turning a profit they do not care about the experience of candidates. A simple google shows not a single person on their board has ever had to use their services - they are so out of touch with the applicants I do not see it ever improving. It is a monopoly that leeches off the NHS with exclusively contracts, then outsources everything to India which also raises legal questions about where data is being processed.

Recently undergone a recruitment process, which has been a good experience so far. Particular mention for Christine B, whose guidance and support has been invaluable.

I’ve recently been accepted by the NHS on a programme to be apart of the NHS and to finally start my dream career.
The whole process has been amazing, the people and staff I’ve met have been so lovely, accommodating and supportive. I can’t remember everyone’s name but the most I’ve spoken with is Christine Burke. She’s been awesome and providing me with all the information, details and what to do next. She deserves a medal and tap on the back for all her hard work.
