Paid for a gold service
Paid for a gold service, didn’t change the oil just topped it up to high, clearly not done it as it’s black and has caused a warning light on my vehicle… Water in the cooling system… which could destroy my engine it could of been like that when bought the car but they still should of noticed and rectified, as essential fluids are part of the service. Spark plugs needed changing, not done or offered to be done… happy with the new tyres so far but wouldn’t recommend getting a service there, feel robbed.. maybe not the company as a whole but definitely dodgy/lazy mechanics… ended up doing spark plugs complete oil change and coolant flush and change myself. Honestly save your money…

Could you kindly contact us at customerservice@mrtyre.co.uk with all the details, you have accused us of not carrying out various parts of vehicle service which came into our depot nine weeks ago.
As you have commented that you feel robbed we would like to address your comments either publicly or privately.
I would however like to point out the following regarding your accusation that that we didn't change the oil,
It's normal for engine oil to appear black or dark shortly after an oil change,. This darkening is usually due to residual oil and soot (carbon particles) from the previous oil, which mixes with the new oil. Even with a complete oil change, some old oil and soot will remain in the engine, causing the new oil to darken quickly.

Fantastic place to go
Friendly staff, extremely efficient service and so easy to book online and pay once you're there! Didn't even have wait a full hour for 4 tyres and alignment to be done! Would highly recommend and I'd definitely use these guys again. Thank you!

Appointments pointless
Whilst I appreciate that fast fit expect drive in sales, the whole idea of appointments is so that you can arrive and be seen.
What is the point of booking an appointment if you then have to wait for an hour.
Once in the service was good and efficient as usual

There is no option for zero star…
There is no option for zero star rating. 6 months ago I was turned away after asking for my tracking to be done. Today I find out I’d been driving dangerous car due to tracking. It had warn the tyres out to the steel on the inside. Not seen from the road side. I’m lucky they didn’t burst at high speed. Today I only went in to get the wheels balanced. £180 worse off. Not happy at all

Dear Mr Stanley,
We have contacted you directly with a response, however it is important to state that you alleged that you came to our depot six months ago for a alignment adjustment. Our depot did not carry out any work on your vehicle, you returned yesterday with two tyres that were close to the legal limit and showing metal cords on the edge.
It is unreasonable to apportion blame to our company for you driving a vehicle with two illegal tyres on it.
We appreciate and thank you for your business but are disappointed that you are blaming us.

Booking an appointment online to replace 4 tyres was easy. Arrived on time, 4 tyres replaced and wheel alignment all completed in less than an hour and at a competitive price!

Used Mr Tyre in Newcastle since before they were Mr Tyre, they have every car I've owned for M.o.T, Service, Breaks, Tyres. Also best prices and reliable advice to save you money. Recently went in after AA recovery left my sensored wheels on the wrong place and Paul sorted them out for me while I waited, fantastic service.
