Didn't even turn up, and no way to contact cleaner as phone was off. Customer service couldn't do anything and basically only can offer a refund. Waste of time and not worth anyone's time. Funny their... Mehr ansehen

Cancelling fortnight cleaning with them

The service is so unreliable that I just can't keep on giving second chances. It all started nice in spring 2014 with them, with the same good cleaner coming on time and doing a great job, but then she left and we had all sorts of strange people in our flat (if they showed up at all - some never came, despite bookings made way in advance). Today I had a strange lady who doesn't seem to know how to open the doors, but more importantly, she didn't know that rubbish has to be throw away INTO a plastic bag and not next to it. This was really the last straw, sorry- I'm cancelling my future bookings.

Unreliable service

I have just cancelled my weekly cleans with Mopp.com as this is the 4th time in the 2 months that I've been with Mopp, that no one has shown up to clean. This is despite having booked a regular clean for every thursday. I also found the cleaner did not do a thorough job and was often a bit late and left a bit early. I would not recommend Mopp.com

disappointing

I was disappointed with the clean, gave feedback directly to Mopp, being what seems a very social media savvy company, expected some response, got none and then have been sent this link to comment on what they 'hope' was a great cleaning experience, so now I'm disappointed with the clean and the company ethos, could have forgiven them for a cleaner having a bad day, but this is a joke.

Awful Awful.. When you pay for a cleaner you expect them to turn up? no?

We were meant to have a clean last Thursday, who did not turn up, and they promised a refund (which has not been given) and half price of this weeks clean. However, they have just let me know that this NEW cleaner can't make it. Prior to this, when we started using the service we had a DIFFERENT cleaner, who turned up twice, once left 30 mins early (when i was in the house, and i could've suggested other things to clean/do) and then failed to turn up again after I rated her clean online, as requested by the company.

This results in us, so far, having 4 separate unreliable cleaners in 3 months. This also means taking time of work each time to ensure they cleaner is let in, knows the house, product. Essentially, that time i could've cleaned myself as I've had to show 4 different cleaners this information!!

Every time I have called it has been a 25 minute minimum wait to speak to someone. The reason we have a cleaner is because we both work full time and long hours and haven't the time to give our house the full clean it needs, let alone spending 25 mins on hold every 2 weeks (out of my working hours!!)

To be honest, there has only been one of the four cleaners that have cleaned our house to an acceptable standard, but feel pressurised to give them "one more chance". We apparently have a new reliable cleaner booked in for next week and at half price, i will give them a chance.

But if you are thinking about going with them, and are a new customer - Please don't bother.
I would recommend a small independent company that are much more reliable and do their job properly.

Rant over! Awful company!

Annoyed & disappointed

Worked for MOPP for eight months, worked hard and established a good reputation, regular clients that I got on with well, only to have a phone call out of the blue saying that I was no longer needed as they were no longer trading in my area, no explanation nothing. Disappointed is not the word for how I m feeling right now,
Used & treated like dirt.!

DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY

I cannot begin to describe how appalled I have been by this agency. Last week a cleaner failed to turn up to a 4 hour appointment. When they were 20 minutes late I called Mopp, where I waited on the phone for a further 20 minutes without an answer. As I was now extremely late for work I had to hang up and send an email instead. I received no response to my email. The next day I tried calling again, having still received no explanation for why our cleaner didn't show up and worse still no refund. I waited for a total of 30 minutes without getting through, at which point I was forced to hang up again. I send a second email. On the third day and having still received no response to either email I called again. After another 20 minute wait I finally got through to an operator. She apologised but was unable to give any explanation for why the cleaner had not shown up. She said that she would refund the £40 and would pass on my complaint to the directors. By the fifth day the £40 had still not been refunded and I had still received no response to any of my emails, when out of the blue I received an automated message asking how Mopp's customer service had been. This was at the end of a thread of two emails that had clearly not be answered. What are you guys playing at.......?? After a very strongly worded response to this the £40 finally appeared back in my account, but still with no message of explanation or apology. I'm speechless. DO NOT use this company, they will make your life a misery......

Awful ..........Just Awful

I have had nothing but issues with Mopp!
I have tried and tried as the lady who cleans our apartment Irene is lovely but as a business they are awful.
Instance One: I had booked a cleaner, they took the money and nobody bothered to show up - its only after I called them chasing that they advised me they didn't have anybody in the area and "somebody should have rang me" They didn't have anybody around at the time/ date I wanted.
Instance Two: Today I am beyond furious, after trying to book Irene there website crashed at payment - they took the funds and didn't book any cleaner for me. I have been sat on hold for 45 minutes and have tried the online chat function which is the most stupid thing .... as nobody even monitors it! I STILL don't have any answer - No cleaner and no refund!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Very happy

I booked a clean the other day and I'm very happy. Mihaela arrived on time, was lovely, fast, helpful and did a good job, especially in the bathroom!

I gave 4 instead of 5 because I tried to book before, but the cleaner ran really late so we ended up cancelling. However, I'm very happy with Mihaela and would like to clean with her again :)

They take your money and send no cleaner

I used mopp 7 times till now and the only satisfactory one was the 1st time that was when I decided to ask for the same cleaner for 3 times a week as they promote on their website.
I have had 4 different cleaners in these 7 visits with most of them coming really late and 3 no cleaner at all.
Mopp promised to send the same cleaner every time after lots of phone calls and holding the line for 20 mins, lots of emails as well but nothing has changed but to the worse!
My ultimate mistake was giving them my credit card details ! They have been debiting the card ever since and not replying to my emails.
My credit card is not safe with Mopp

Great for last minute cleaning!

I booked 3 hours cleaning to help us get the house sorted before friends came to stay. The booking process on line was very quick and efficient. Our cleaner arrived a couple of minutes early and did a great job cleaning our house. It was an excellent service and I will definitely use them again.

Unreliable - don't depend on anyone turning up when they say they will

I booked five times, and got two cleans. The two cleans were absolutely excellent - no complaints at all - but after the third no-show I gave up. The office staff presumably work part-time and only bother when the wind is in the right direction, so they were shockingly slow at responding - and took about a fortnight to refund my payment after the last no-show. All very polite, but certainly don't wait in for a cleaner.

Easy and reliable service

I don't need a cleaner on a regular basis, just once a month or so when I'm too busy with work and Mopp is the only cleaning company out there who allows that kind of flexibility without overcharging.
Booking is an easy process, all done online.
I have the same cleaner coming every time and we have built a relationship. She is punctual, reliable and friendly. She does a great job.
After trying several cleaning companies, I'm glad I've found Mopp.

Mopp is awful! Avoid at all costs!

They sent a completely random, grumpy girl, with zero previous cleaning experience. She was awful, turned up late, left early, barely cleaned anything, ruined my sofa with bleach. I asked for a different cleaner, who as it turned out was just as bad, slightly scary, inexperienced and lived on the other side of London! Mopp's customer service department just fobbed me off without any explanation or justification. I have found a local, small cleaning agency in Putney in the end, so much better.

Mopp is to be avoided at all costs!

Appalling company!! DO NOT USE!!

I've used mopp for 3 months. The service has awful each time. The cleaners are not to a high standard. So I get a new cleaner and each one I like seems to have left after one week! This happened 3 times! So i never got a constant cleaner. Still willing to give it a go , two weeks in a row now a cleaner has failed to show up. Wasting my time! Absoutely unprofessional company. Do not use them. Better off doing the cleaning yourself or go elsewhere. They need to be shut down. They obviously have poor relations with their cleaner. who doesn't just turn up for work?? Perhaps they treat their cleaners badly or don't pay them on time. One can only assume.... Shocking!
