This date was the final day when I completed the installation.
This door really stands out and several people have commented on the style and the impact the door makes to my porch.
The online fitting instructions were a great help.
The only difficulty I experienced was the fitting of the final glazing beads on my small window. But with some bending of the bead, it finally went into place.
Prior to this date were the days of selection, ordering, customer service and delivery.
The variety of styles, finishes and glazing options were far greater than other companies and the online ordering was so easy to use when selecting my door and window.
I have to mention the customer service for the follow up email and telephone conversation.
I must also mention the prompt delivery and assistance given by the driver.
100% for the style, quality of finish, solid construction and price.

This is the second time I’ve used this Modern UPVC Windows. On both occasions I have had a great service, I have been kept updated and informed. Good quality windows as well. All positive.

To be honest, there has been a significant amount of miscommunication regarding the product and the specifications provided by the company.

Unfortunately, I have still not received the correct product, nor have I received a refund. The first delivery did not match the original order specifications, which is why the matter remains unresolved.

I have also contacted customer service several times but have not received an adequate response or a clear update regarding the situation. This has been ongoing for some time now, and I would really appreciate someone taking ownership of this issue and contacting me directly to resolve it as soon as possible.

Please could someone review my case and provide a clear update on the next steps? I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you

Thank you for your response. I appreciate that you have taken the time to reply; however, I would like to clarify the situation, as I do not believe your response accurately reflects the full history of my case.

My concern has never been simply that the uPVC door was supplied in separate components. I understand that certain elements may need to be supplied separately for installation. My concerns were about the condition, specification, finish and suitability of the goods I received, as well as the lack of clear communication throughout the process.

When the first delivery arrived, I was extremely disappointed because several aspects did not appear to correspond with what I had ordered or expected from the original Order Acknowledgement. I raised concerns regarding the condition and appearance of the components, including the panel, frame finish, letterplate, cylinder and other elements. I also specifically reported that part of the internal panel appeared damaged/pressed on one side.

I contacted your customer service team immediately and requested a refund because of my experience with the first delivery. I was subsequently advised that a refund would not be provided and that a replacement delivery could be arranged.

Despite my disappointment, I did try to resolve the matter constructively and agreed to accept a replacement delivery. Before doing so, I repeatedly asked in writing for confirmation that the replacement door and all associated components would fully match my original order specifications and would arrive undamaged and in the correct finishes.

On 27 August, I provided a detailed list of the specifications I wanted confirmed, including the White Woodgrain finish, the frame texture, the sash, cill, panel, cylinder and other components. I was then told that these points would be fine, with the exception of the letterplate, and that the replacement would be delivered on 8 September.

I subsequently contacted the company again on 3 September and 7 September because I had not received the requested confirmation regarding the replacement product. On 7 September, I specifically explained that I did not want to accept another delivery unless I could be assured that the product had been checked and fully matched my original order.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the clear confirmation I had repeatedly requested before the proposed delivery.

Therefore, I do not think it is fair to summarise the situation simply by saying that I “rejected the goods twice” and that the company “attempted delivery on two occasions.” This leaves out the important context: I initially requested a refund because of the problems with the first delivery, but when that was refused, I cooperated and agreed to a replacement delivery while asking for reasonable confirmation that the issues I had raised would be properly addressed.

I have never intended to create unnecessary difficulties or prevent the company from resolving this matter. I simply wanted to receive the product I originally paid for, matching the specification provided at the time of purchase and in satisfactory condition.

I am still willing to resolve this matter directly and would welcome someone from the company taking ownership of my case and providing a clear, written proposal for resolution, rather than continuing to debate what constitutes a standard method of supply.

I hope the company will review the complete correspondence and Order Acknowledgement rather than only the delivery history. I would genuinely prefer to resolve this matter fairly and amicably.

Window was extremely accurate and the beads fitted perfectly... tolerance was down to thousands of an inch...👌

We have placed 2 separate orders and they supplied great products and delivered on time

So far so good. Windows and the door arrived on time and the spec looks pretty good. I messed up the ordering slightly and didn't get matching handles, but that's on me. I've fitted one window and it looks good. At the moment I'd highly recommend.

I was unsure about placing an online order for such a product but it was easy and with a quick phone call to confirm everything it was an easy process. Emails and messages were received to keep me updated. Items arrived on the given date along with the delivery driver calling me.
The product was superb. No damage or anything.

Reasonably priced with excellent quality windows and doors. Great selection of finishes. I had a self built pagoda which we decided to glaze after 10 years.

Unfortunately it was never meant to have windows and I had great difficulty in trying to source windows I could use. Being able to measure and obtain custom made panels, windows and doors made the job a lot easier.
The result is fantastic. Well worth the money.

I've made 2 purchases with Modern Upvc windows.

First £1780 for a door and 2 windows in anthracite grey for our new porch. This order was fine.

Second order was £2160 for French doors and windows for our new loft conversion.
Windows are fine but we had an issue with the French doors requiring my builder to spend quite a bit of time problem solving and then rectifying the problem.

Lots of emails and phone calls to discuss this.
"you should've checked the doors and windows before fitting them so we could return the faulty item"
This is not realistically possible as the problem was subtle and only apparent once in situ.
I have been offered money back BUT only as a discount off a future order.
I feel I should've been offered money back as a partial refund for my builders time, which I have had to obviously pay for and which took my builder away from progressing with the loft conversion.

I feel after sales customer service could've been better.
I had planned on buying more windows but I might've wanted to shop around for them and now I feel I have to buy from these guys now to realise the costs I have incurred, through no fault of my own.

So I would recommend asking before you buy, what is the situation if the goods you receive are faulty ?
