Outright fraud
I have been working for this agency for a couple of years now. In total they will have issued 3 invoices to me (of lower amounts than they actually had to pay). Now I have been writing to them for months because I have arrears of €5,000 and they always find excuses to postpone payment. They keep bouncing emails from one PM to another to waste your time. I will continue to insist and post bad reviews about them because I have been working my tail off for years and I demand to be paid what I am owed. I will never accept projects from them again and if necessary I will also use legal avenues to get the money I am owed. It's a real fraud and I don't know how the authorities haven't intervened yet.

Never pays on time
Never pays on time. Have to chase every month, always a nightmare getting paid. Do not trust. The owner is a known scammer coming from other previous companies that didn't pay it's linguists either.

Bad payment
I didn't expect to run into this situation and it's the first time I've ever given a company a bad review.
At first I was convinced that Mission Translate was one of the leading companies that every freelance translator would want to work with. Especially because the Project Managers are good and look professional.
But it turned out to be beyond my expectations because of the 3 invoices I sent from last April, not a single payment was made to me until now.
I have sent lots of reminder emails regarding the payment to the accounting team but I only got two replies saying someone will get back to me.
As a freelancer I just want this problem to be over and I can get my rights for completing the tasks they have given me.

Payment overdue 4 months
I have to write something here. Mission Translate owed me over 1000 pounds, which is 4 months overdue. I tried to chase the payment with numerous emails to the accounting team and their managers, admins. It seems they just ignored the payment request each time. Awful and disgusting experience with this company in related to payment. I've told all Chinese and other translators around me to avoid this rubbish company. It is necessary to raise it legal procedure for getting back the hard earned money.

Pathetic company
Worst company to work with they do not pay and now the total is 6k. Written to account team plus Hayder the CEO who said he will pay me in 3 weeks and now it is nearly 3 months and no sign of it. No reply to mails from him. Tried calling his direct number only goes to his voice box, he doesn't even answer those. Please stay from this company. I'm thinking writing directly to the clients with proof of emails written to the CEO and accounts. I have written about 50 emails to accounts@missiontranslate but no reply.

Being from a legal background i am looking for all possible ways to get the hard earned money. Please resolve it asap else i am really upset and this will lead to major steps.

They're many months past due on multiple invoices and are unresponsive. This is the 3rd company (eSense / Convocco / ALS (UK) Ltd ) they've done this with. Please see evidence on Google, Glassdoor, Reddit, ProZ, Facebook, etc.

It took reporting Mission Translate to ProZ and leaving negative reviews to get the money they owed me. If you look into their background, it's not a pretty picture.

Untrustworthy, do not pay
They dont pay on time or sometimes not at all and are notorious for this practice. I would recommend not working with them and do all the necessary background checks. If you have worked with them, consider hiring a debt collector. They will answer your email but always find an excuse or say that they are discussing this internally

They don't pay
Sorry, there are no 0 stars. I am waiting for a reply and payment of 5.5 k. All the replies I have received state that they don't know when or if they can pay. The company has been banned on Proz.com. On the other hand, the PM continue to send orders. In this company they truly live on a different planet. Unfortunately, we as freelancers are once again at the mercy of translation agencies and have no chance to do anything about it. After several years and a lot of patience, I am disappointed by such antisocial behaviour.

Avoid - non payer
They asked to email HR as everyone can see in the post below. I emailed TWICE now and still no response.
I am urging other linguist to look for work elsewhere. I am now wasting my time to recover my money (which I will by the way).

The company doesn't pay their freelancers. The communication about this fact is very sketchy. Seems like a scam. Avoid at all costs.
P.S.
The company paid me after all, namely after I left some negative reviews here and there and quit. It has not been the most enjoyable of things.

Very stressful deadlines. Communication about the payment is very unclear. Rates are very low and then they don't even pay them, even after multiple reminders. Most unprofessional company I have ever seen.

Non-payers
Non-payers. I have already been chasing my money for a month and I only get ignored emails and poor excuses. This isn't new, as it's their usual behaviour.
Edit: No payment received to this day. They keep ignoring emails.
Edit2: They keep ignoring every email. Their "contact our HR department" was just another lie to trick anyone reading this into thinking they play fair.
Edit3: I finally got paid after many months chasing them.

Payment is too slow. Accounting has to be reminded to pay everytime, payment due dates are not respected.
