Terrible service
I don't think I'll go into all the gruesome details, but I will say that this company's level of incompetency is quite astounding. No member of staff has a clue what the other says.
It took approximately 20-30 phone calls and many hours of waiting (both on the phone, awaiting promised calls, and awaiting delivery) to get my PC. It still ended up being several days late!
Wont use again!

Ordered a tablet via their website. Was in stock at time of purchase and paid for 3 day delivery, a few weeks later item still hadn't showed. Tried emailing them and got no response, a few days later the money was returned with no explanation

Saw something I wanted on website ; rung confirm price and stock, they confirmed price and said they had stock so ordered. They Sat on my order for a couple of days before saying it was a miss price and didn't have stock! Will never buy from again
2 x orders and both failed
Bought 1 x Laptop that arrived used and damaged... after managing to get through to their C.S team they spent an hour chatting while I was on hold deliberating on something they made up... for 1 I complained the unit was used, dirty and had a key missing from the keyboard - when they finally got back on the phone they made out that I told them I received an empty box... (no laptop at all)... had to send it back for a replacement with was again - USED.
Last order ever was for a Tablet, they claim misprice, you will be refunded - still no refund several days later, just a generic email with not as much as my name on it.
Overall, 1 Star is a joke, if I could make that a minus - I would.
Scammers
Ordered a item and it never got delivered and supposedly getting 'refunded' even though I asked the CS team to not refund me! and this was confirmed during a phone call.
Clearly just wanted website traffic.
Sadly never again
I have been an infrequent but loyal customer of Misco for years. However when they shipped an incorrect item in the last few weeks and I had to return it I found the customer service to be a disaster.
The problem was reported the same day the item arrived, and it was returned unopened via their courier within 1 working day. Being assured by customer service that I would receive a refund and I could re-order to receive the correct item if I wanted.
I decided not to re-order immediately as the incorrect item was not shown as a stocked item on Misco's website, making me dubious that there were multiple items booked in incorrectly & re-ordering in the short term might just land me another incorrect item.
It took over a week to receive confirmation of receipt of the returned item and a credit note - for the wrong amount (I should have been due shipping as well as this was their error).
The credit note was just that, there was no refund to my card. When I complained I was directed to clause 3 of the return terms which state that it can take 3 to 10 working days from return acceptance to crediting my account.
3.5 weeks later and several phone calls later I have finally received my refund, including the shipping charge after they corrected that error. 1 day over the 'up to 10 day' period in the terms and conditions.
At every stage I was left feeling that customer service couldn't help, couldn't or didn't care, and Misco were going to hang on to my money (over £300) for just as long as possible and they did.
At one point I even had a customer service representative specifically agree that Misco were keeping my money for an unacceptably long time beyond the return of the goods.
Sadly you have lost a loyal customer for good Misco.
misco no go
after being messed about for 6 weeks waiting for a car cam I am now told they will refund me which also seems to be taking a long time. They repeatedly tried to blame the courier. I am left with the suction bracket which took 3 weeks to come and is no use without the camera. I would advise anyone to go else ware no matter what price the item may be offered at; don't tolerate liars who waste your valuable time
Poor Customer Service - lack of any contact and not listened to by them
My client ordered a number of items from Misco. 1 item was dispatched incorrectly so the totally wrong item arrived. I was told that collection will be made on Friday and the correct item would be sent out, via email later on that day they said the would need to receive the incorrect item back and then they will credit the payment and then send a replacement / correct item.
A courier did turn up today when I am not in the office even although I asked them to collect the next day (Friday) and I also have no reference number / RMA or any reference to this return. I have just tried to phone Misco and they are again having system problems and can not take the call. They also addressed my customer with the wrong firstname even though his name is on the order. Unacceptable service. Will not be using Misco again
I expected a problem which did not materialise due to great customer service.
Item did not arrive as expected and we became more concerned once we saw the bad reviews on Trust Pilot. Contacted general enquiries number but was unsuccessful at getting any help. Contacted customer service and our problem was dealt with in a very concerned way by the agent who confirmed our item should have already arrived. He managed to sort this out yesterday and today our item has arrived by special courier. A confirmation email was also received this morning to explain the situation. Could not be happier with the product, the great value and the brilliant customer service
Zero customer service
We bought a 12TB NAS drive from Misco back in february which proved faulty, even had the manufacturer admit there was a fault. Trying to return to Misco for a refund and you guessed it, after weeks of calling (never answered, just goes to voicemail) and a dozen emails that get no response we are still no further on with a piece of kit that cost £1500 and doesnt work in July.
Useless company, or at least useless customer services dept. We wont be ordering anything else.
Business to Business is brilliant, Stay away if personal..
Use them for my public sector employer. They are always able to get us the lowest quote. Had some teething problems with installers and parts missing but always a factory fault and not directly Miscos fault. Our account manager Alan is always there to help. I can hapily reccomend them for Business transactions but sadly have also had issue with customer service if I'm buying personally.
Point to note they charge delivery right at the end in the online store spent hundreds before and still get charged delivery just a little bit of a joke really.
Lots of orders, No problems!
My company has used Misco for most of it's IT equipment and consumables for a few years now. We've placed lots of orders and spent thousands of pounds. We've honestly never had an issue with order processing, quality or delivery. I would thoroughly recommend them.
Non existent customer services
It has taken over a month to try and get an invoice (still don't have it) - I have wasted hours on the phone to "customer services " along with countless unanswered emails. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Awful company - will never use again.

Ordered a laptop which the Misco Web site says is in stock. I phone to ensure its windows 7 not 8 and they say it is not in stock and the order cancelled. I expected a same day refund but no word at all from them.
The next day Having spoken to the manager on the phone I was assured that my order had been cancelled and that payment made back to my account
The money did not arrive
Update: I have asked citizens advice to refer this company to trading standards.

My money is still in their account proving the service manager to be a liar.
I managed to get the service girl to put me through to accounts. They did not want to speak to me but I let her know how annoyed I was and she pushed it and I got through to accounts.
The accounts girl found the order detail but said she couldn't pay me back. She mumbled something about Paypal and refused point blank to refund me.
The service girl said they have lost my details!
I have updated the Paypal dispute to a claim
I have had an excellent response from citizens advice who have passed detail onto trading standards
There is legislation (2008) regarding advertising items that are in stock when they are not. I hope that someone takes this company to task.

Utter disgrace. Sent my laptop into repairs three months ago... Still no word.
I purchased a newly refurbished laptop from Misco this February, however within two weeks had problems with the fan. I sent it in to repairs, and received the laptop back 2 weeks later to find that the problem was still there and they had in fact made no repairs. So I arranged for them to repair it once more (the laptop would not even turn on at this point) on march 6th 2014. After a month and many attempts on my part to chase my laptop, having heard nothing, I was told my laptop was returned to me on the 4th of march, to which I copied in a prior email showing the laptop was not even sent for repairs at that point. Now almost 2 months later I am still hassling them insistently by phone and email for news, with absolutely no luck. disgraceful.
Same excuse on multiple purchases
I have used Misco sporadically over the years for IT equipment and the issues I experienced seem to relate to the last dozen reviews. The website shows stock, you make an order, receive confirmation and then it all falls apart.
They are VERY good at getting your hopes up and taking payment, then expect to be taking for a ride where you will speak to customer service wondering where you delivery is only to find out that IT IS NOT IN STOCK. They offer a refund which generally takes forever to process.
Most importantly, if you are using them for business purposes, the loss of revenue and complications it causes within an office are unacceptable.
WORD OF ADVICE - AVOID AVOID AVOID.
This is not a once off review, you will note as of today with this review, over 40% of their ratings are 1 star!
We care? (WHAT A JOKE)
Worst experience I have ever experienced, bought iPad 64GB last week and have just been told after spending all day in getting an answer when it will be delivered. I was told this morning it would be here today and then in calling back to see if I could move the time I was told they were out of stock. Why sell products advertised on your website and take my money and send order conformations. Called a third time and was put on hold for 20 minutes to be told there was no update and you would call me back which they never did!
Then I have just spoken to Customer Services who told me they could ship me a 16GB which I don’t want.
I will be contacting trading standards as I am sure they are not authorised to sell products over the internet and take money when they don’t even have the goods! This is called Fraud!!!!

We ordered our equipment, two days later we get an email stating their systems was down and I would have to replace the order online. Customers service was appalling. When i asked if the equipment was in stock I was told no??? So why should I reorder the??? Apparently they have refunded my money but still no sign of the £2500 in my account. Hours wasted. I really wish I would have come to Trustpilot first.
