I have made a few purchases through Mighty Ape and after receiving damaged goods through the post, through no fault of theirs they were so obliging and resent posters as soon as I called them. My son is autistic and dinosaur mad! Their awesome friendly service helping to replace his posters at no charge will see one very happy boy at Christmas. Thankyou :)

Deceptive, untrustworthy and unhelpful!
I made a purchase on the 2nd of July, in plenty of time for the item to arrive before my daughters 4th birthday. The website advertises over 400 thousand items in stock and shipping the next day. The items I purchased were 'in stock with the supplier' and an email was sent after my purchase informing me that the items would be shipped by the 8th. This was a surprising wait for the items to go into the post but it was still in plenty of time for my daughters birthday.
When I still had not received my package on the 14th I called their customer service number. The staff member informed me they had not had my items in stock and apparently they had just arrived that morning and would be posted that afternoon. I expressed my surprise and extreme disappointment that a) they weren't in stock when I had purchased and b) they were not yet on their way to me.
After thinking about the situation and the time constraints of the fast approaching birthday over night, I called their number again the next morning. The items were STILL NOT IN THE POST! The staff member could not/would not offer me express postage (my only hope of the presents arriving in time) but said I could pay an additional $30 for them to be express posted.
They offered to refund my small postage fee of $7.98 and send the parcel that day... weeks after I ordered it. My four-year-old will have nothing to open on her birthday... perhaps I can wrap up disappointment for her??
I am utterly disappointed and devastated. I will never purchase here again and I will go out of my way to ensure others of my acquaintance do not purchase here either.

Delivered on time and good customer service when i rang to clarify my order. Highly recommended

I ordered a headset from them on the 17th of December, payed for that day. The item said it was shipped from their warehouse on the 18th. Australia Post tracking information only said that it had received information about the item, but not the item.

They say shipping between 3-6 business days, that's a lie. The item hadn't arrived by Christmas, the item hadn't arrived by New Years, 2 weeks after it said it was shipped. I tried to contact them twice via email/their contact form with 0 response after their 'response time (1-3 business days)'. I tried calling their customer service line 3 times, once saying nobody was available, and the other 2 times waiting over 20 minutes each for an answer, giving up and hanging up both times.

You just need to look at their facebook page to see how many people are getting absolutely disgusting customer service from this store, and the only response they get is a copy + paste "Oh, sorry, pm us and we'll deal with it." with multiple people saying they didn't even reply after being private messaged with their order details.

Overall a really horrible company that has disgraceful customer service, and dodgy information on their website in terms of where your item is and such. Never going to buy from them again and I suggest you look around before doing it yourself.

Denne anmeldelse er til danske kunder, som må påtænke at handle hos denne New Zealandske/australske netbutik. Derfor er anmeldelsen på dansk.

Fandt en vare hos dem som ikke var udgivet i Danmark eller resten af verden. Den var kun udgivet i Australien og de var blandt de sidste som kunne skaffe varen, da alle andre australske butikker, meldte om udgået fra leverandøren.
Efter at have undersøgt med SKAT for import fra lande uden for EU, fandt jeg ud af, at varens pris i AUD var for høj til, hvad bagatelgrænsen for import til Danmark var.
Mightyape havde heldigvis prismatch og efter at have linket til varen fra en anden forhandler, om jeg ikke var sikker på kunne skaffe varen og havde meget høje forsendelsesomkostninger, sendte jeg Mightyape en forespørgsel. Der gik nogle dage inden der kom svar tilbage, og jeg ventende spændt, da jeg godt vidste, at varens pris skulle under et bestemt beløb, for at der ikke ville komme skat, moms og importgebyr på, når den ankom til Danmark.
Da svaret kom, var det heldigvis positivt og de matchede endda et lille stykke under en hvad jeg havde håbet på. Så de ikke bare matchede konkurrentens pris; de slog den!
De kunne dog ikke tage imod kreditkort fra "oversøiske kunder", som de kaldte det, så måtte bruge Paypal.

Jeg har flere gange haft kontakt til Mightyape's kundeservice, bl.a. for at høre, om jeg kunne bruge de danske Æ, Ø og Å når jeg angav navn og adresse i ordreforløbet. De har altid været venlige i deres besvarelser, selvom svarerne tit har været et par dage undervejs (de siger selv, at de svarer indenfor én arbejdsdag).

Efter henvendelse til dem, påstod de ganske vist, at forsendelsen ville være 13-25 arbejdsdage undervejs, og det ville ikke undre mig hvis den var, da de er beliggende på den anden side af jordkloden, og NZ Post også har leveringstider på så stort et interval.
Stor var glæden, da forsendelsen allerede ankom efter 4 arbejdsdage (6 dage, hvis man tæller en weekend med). Var overrasket over, at det alligevel gik så hurtigt!
På forsendelsen havde Mightyape endda været så venlige at angive, at det var en gave :) Og så var den fint emballeret. Den var ikke gået i stykker efter den lange rejse.
Forsendelsesomkostningerne på $16 var også rimelige, synes jeg. Specielt når man tænker på, at en af deres konkurrenter skulle have $27,50.

Vil ikke tøve med at bruge dem igen. Kan varmt anbefales.
