Really impressed with the Tekada…

Really impressed with the Tekada Shingen Kabuto Samurai Helmet, lives upto my expectations and more. I saw it advertised on a website here in the UK and immediately decided it's the best I'd ever seen, due to the red colour, the hair and the exceptional quality appearance of the helmet. Unfortunately it's a discontinued item, I searched the Internet for one and eventually found the Medieval Shop who had two in stock and at a reasonable price, placed my order. The shipping was very quick, despatched and safely delivered here in the UK at 8am the following day, very good service by FedEx.

Took some days but everything worked out fine

Hello, I am from the Netherlands and ordered some clothing from Tienda Medieval about a month ago. After reading some negative reviews and the shipping taking a bit of a while, I started to worry a little about whether the order would arrive correctly. However, I contacted customer service several times via email. I always received a polite response within 1 to 2 working days. I was even able to change a clothing size from L to XL free of charge and effortlessly. The order confirmation simply stated that delivery could take 12 to 15 working days. In hindsight, this was clearly communicated in advance. I recently received the order and I am satisfied with the purchase. In summary: it takes a little while for your order to be shipped, but the items are of decent quality and are shipped and delivered well-packaged. I had a great experience with Tienda Medieval.

Not UK based, high shipping and won't even deliver several items to the UK

The website has a .co.uk domain and a London phone number but appears to be based in Spain.
When you try to checkout the shipping is almost twice as much as the item and you get a message saying they don't ship replica weapons to the UK despite that being their main product.

So I ordered 2 daggers

So I ordered 2 daggers; the Percy Jackson and Bilbo dart. They don't give me any warning, none whatsoever if they can't deliver it and take my money. I get 3 emails, the welcome, the confirmation and the 2 confirmation. I notice a little error with my address, really small. And also wanted my tracking number which I've since learnt they send later. But I email them back then to tell them about about the error and my number. I didn't ask for a cancellation or refund. I wanted these daggers for my fiancè's birthday. I wake up to a email saying my shipment was CANCELLED bc they don't ship to the UK which is bs bc they have a UK website AND other people in the UK have received their items.

Parcel travelling around Europe since 10th of Dec

Ordered an item on the 10th of December and still waiting on it. You are given the impression it's a UK based store when in fact its Spain where the stuff is coming from. My package atm has gone from Spain to Germany which is an absolute joke! I will never use this company again!

Regarding your order, it was shipped on December 23rd to Ireland. Although the order was placed on December 10th, the Viking tunic had to be specially made by the manufacturer since the requested size was not available in our stock.

On December 16th, we informed you about the estimated delay of 1–2 weeks due to this process. The order was sent via road transport, which typically takes less than a week. However, considering the Christmas season, there may be a few additional days of delay.

Shipping long but wonderful item

The shipping took a few days and I got scared reading the reviews but the communication was wonderful and the item came in perfect and such high Quality material. I bought a big viking shield, and I'm very very pleased with it. I can recommend it! 😊

To return it the courier needs a returns label from them and they refuse to send one after countless emails/messages. DO NOT order from these scammers. The British looking website is actually Spanish and items all come from there. Disgusting customers service. NEVER AGAIN.

whole business is a scam

i ordered from them few while ago, they kept making excuses of why my delivery was delayed and never sent me my order or gave me a tracking number but kept assuring me they sent me my item. they stopped replying to me completely once the refund date past on paypal. should have done more research on my end ,considering some people on SBG forums had similar experiences and looked at google reviews about this trash company

Do not order from this company!

Do not order from this company. They have zero customer service skills. Cannot reply to emails and the live chat on their website doesn't even work. Ordered a sword and have not received any tracking numbers and highly doubt I will get a response or refund.

Awful quality, very bad service

I received an Exhibitor swords (for 13 pc.) from this store and was completely shocked! The product is of very, very poor quality. It is made of something similar like pressed paper with weigh of 7.5 kilograms, and at the same time, the parts were connected with bolts of 7 mm heads, which were screwed into a 6.8 mm hole in a way that all they could do during transportation is only jump out and destroy the product, what was actually happened.
As a result, the product is completely damaged and destroyed, and absolutely unusable. The store staff refuses to make any changes to the construction or replace the product. The transport company refuses to compensate for losses due to the awful quality of the assembly of the product, which is visible to eyes. I suffered big losses and I do not recommend anyone to buy this product and cooperate with this store!

Swords are worse than toys for children.

I received my swords today. After opening the box they came in i only felt cheated and disapointed. First of all. The "swords" are worthless. There is no metal or weight going down to the handle which makes them unbalanced, and can only be held up with discomfort.

Secondly. In the comment for my order, i gave instructions for them to be sharpened to a fine edge. How did i receive them? Blunt as blunt can be. There is literally no edge to the swords. If i were to strike something with them, it would be blunt force trauma instead of cutting. That is how bad they were.

The sheath. The sheath for my swords is just two pieces of fabric sown together. Nothing "inside". Ironically the only sharpness on my sword is the top, and when the swords are trying to be sheathed. The top of the sword just goes through the fabric.

Worst garbage that i have ever bought.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM WEBSITE!!!

Edit: The handles of the swords that i bought looked as oiled tree on the photos. But is just cheap plastic.

NOT UK company. Company cannot ship to the UK.

Bought two swords believing that they’re sent from the UK—the .co.uk url is a lie as they are sent from Spain. The company did not provide any customs details so they were stuck at customs for a week before ultimately being sent back as blades are prohibited import items to the UK. Feels like the company is out of date with customs regulations as they shouldn’t have honoured my order at all, and left me out of pocket quite a considerable amount until they can refund. The order is still in transit back to them but I’ll update if there are any issues getting a refund from them.

Cancelled order

I ordered a sword from medevil shop after about a week it was finally dispatched. Then they cancelled it a couple of days later blaming border issues and brexit. And up to a week to get my refund. Waste of time and money ended up with no sword and out of pocket for 2 weeks.

Broke immediately when held

Got it as a present opened it held the grip and the thread under the grip snapped immidietly. Now they're claiming they aren't responsible because it's due to my handling. I took it out of the box and its broke straight away save your money elsewhere.

Cancelled the order with no updates

After my order was not showing as shipped after 5 days, I asked for an update which they promised they would come back to me. After no communication from them via email, chat & WhatsApp eventually got in contact with them to be told that they had cancelled it! I understand they might have shipping issues but to cancel the order with no communication, is just terrible customer service.

In normal circumstances this isn't a serious issue (except returns...see other comments) but recently borders closed so had to cancel order. Communication however is excellent (just need to use translator).
