From the initial consultation to fitting the friendly service was appreciated.
We had two doors and a window fitted. The fitter did an excellent job and was very clean and tidy with his work. Delighted with the products which are much more robust than the UPVC doors we had before.

Invited them to quote for a large conservatory. The guy arrived late but promised a quote within a week. That was two months ago and I have heard not a word since. Waste of space.
Update in response to the company’s answer. While I appreciate that there are issues with COVID, that does not in any way excuse taking over a month (by their own admission) to provide a quote and failing to communicate in any way. Why should I, as a client, be accused of not “chasing” a quote that I had been promised?
Having seen the pathetic second response, I find it difficult to believe that a reputable company just wants to blame everyone else. By their own admission, they failed to do as they had promised or to communicate in any way, but just blame the client for their own shortcomings. I absolutely stand by my initial review. Utterly hopeless.

Poor communication throughout process and very poor standard of finish.

Fantastic service from start to finish. From Andrew supplying the quote to the excellent fitting all done within the time frame quoted to a very high standard. We are over the moon with our new windows, composite doors and Dorma's (re-cladding and facias). We chose the Heritage flush windows and are so pleased we did the quality and look is amazing. The fitting team Steve and Dean were wonderful, efficient, professional, punctual and nothing was too much trouble. Can not praise them enough. Would highly recommend Matthews and Peart.

This company was recommended to us and no regrets at all. From the initial contact with Lydia to Lee the fitter, excellent service. The product is fantastic and our new door looks and works great. If you need replacement windows & doors. Do not fail to contact this company.

Their men worked without complaint in freezing and terrible weather in April; they were cheerful, polite and efficient, with attention to detail bringing a great finish to the work – a credit to both themselves and the company.

Many Double Glazing companies could learn a lot.

I moved to Shrewsbury in October 2017, bought my house and decided I needed to replace the 25 year old UPVC windows.

Now anyone can sell these products, fewer at a decent price (without the need for haggling, and the salesperson making calls “to the manager”). Only a select few can do all of this AND provide a high quality, friendly and responsive customer service to back up their products.

Matthews & Peart scored 10/10 with a full installation of a Solidor front door, Solidor stable door at the back, two bow windows, 6 other windows and a large French Door.

Would I use them again or recommend them.. yes absolutely.

A great local family run business that’s been around for 30+ years. I can see why they are stilll around whilst other fly by night businesses have disappeared into the ether, or reinvented themselves to avoid the wrath of disgruntled customers.
