KEEP CLEAR - (90 year old lost £225) Keep Clear - If I could give zero I would. Purchased a single small mattress from the website for our frail mother in law. Firstly it took over 3 weeks to arrive (from Shelf their third party supplier, and we live in Brighouse) Secondly, Barbara laid on it once fully clothed to try it out (similar to how you would at Dreams) and decided it was too hard so we tried to send it back. This company hid behind terms and conditions and now a 90 year old couple are out of pocket £225.00 I will never use them again! Majority of companies who supply mattresses normally allow a period for return/money back this was 10 minutes and they declined! GO ELSEWHERE! Look forward to your response underneath our review to justify your service and position!
Excellent service
I ordered a rehasense rollator from manage at home last Tuesday. The rollator arrived on the following Friday and I love it! It suits my needs perfectly and I got it in the sale so at a reasonable price. Service was prompt and I got exactly what I need. Plus the rollator was the art flower power edition so I’m also turning heads!😉. Thanks for a great experience.

I ordered 2 x tapestry 7 day pill holders for elderly relatives & the Nilaqua Biodegradable Shampoo Wraps.
The Manage At Home website was easy to use, the prices were reasonable.
And the items despatched to my address on the promised date with good packaging.
I would order from this company again as I received a series of e-mails notifying me when the items had been delivered & the position of the package coming to my address.

"Walk Safe" Walking Frame
Since NRS went into liquidation, I had been trying to buy a NRS "Walk Safe" walking frame for several weeks. Most mobility websites were out of stock and prices for second hand "Walk Safe" frames on ebay were extortionate. Delighted to find one on the Manageathome website. This was my first time using company but I will definitely use it again. Competitively priced, easy to order online and free delivery. Delivery was fast and driver was very helpful carrying in the large package when it arrived. Recommend this company without hesitation. Thank you
Delivery was bad
Product is good and price was competitive, however, the courier company (unaware who they are even) let them down. I am disabled and was in bed when they arrived unannounced - our ring doorbell is set to say “Please leave the parcel outside” - he put the heavy parcel down for less than 10 seconds - heard the message - seemed confused - picked up the parcel again and left. No message was spoken, even though the doorbell message said he could leave one. No written message was left.All this was recorded on the doorbell camera and the video clip sent to Manage at Home
i was left very angry and because of this will not buy from Manage at Home again
This chair is far too hard
This chair is far too hard, it is like sitting on a wooden kitchen chair. I am 5ft6ins tall, so average for a woman. The lumbar cushion moves into your buttocks, which leaves your back unsupported. The head rest is too low. The arm rests are too low. If you want the large chair when you order, check it is the same price as the standard chair, not more expensive as you would assume. The order process says no charge for delivery, BUT if you then choose delivery plus installation, the charge for installation is a whopping £212.47. For that sum the guy will bring it in your home, unwrap it and slot the back into the base unit and connect two small electric cables. It is an easy job and any able bodied person can do it. If you will need to rely on this service, just realise the colossal price! I returned my chair as it was totally unsuitable and uncomfortable and they want £350 to collect it! This is a massive sum of money, so please be really sure you want this chair as it could cost you most of the cost of it, to have it delivered, set up then find you need to return it. I wish I didn't have to write this, as this company is supposed to be one of the main companies for caring for the disabled and elderly. One more tip, remember you need to let them know IMMEDIATELY if you want to return it, otherwise the distance sale rules might not apply. I hope this has helped you make up your mind, I wish there had been a review on the chair when I was looking. It never occurred to me that it would be so uncomfortable. btw it has wheels but they are at the back and if, like me, you are likely to have the chair in a space between a wall other furniture etc, you cannot even see the wheels, and certainly can't manipulate the brakes on them. The supplier showed me a photo of where the wheels were, which looked like they were accessible whilst standing next to the chair, but they are underneath the chair. Just so you know.

Ordered a Leo rolator from manage@home on Tues 4th Nov and it was delivered on Sat the 9thnov brilliant bit of kit much better than the old one I had and the price was unbeatable.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Ordered a perching stool but a week later no sign of it so I chased up the order. Their reply was that it was out of stock but would be sent out after the weekend.
Fast forwards to Wednesday the next week and an email arrives saying that delivery will not be before another 3 weeks.
Had I known that it was going to take over a month to deliver there is no way I would have bought from this company.
I now have to wait and see how long it will take to get a refund from them and the small claims court documents are on standby just in case.
It is disgusting that they treat disabled people this way.
Never again
I ordered a bath board which didn't fit my bath, but they didn't have a bigger size available. When I requested a refund, I was told to post it at my own expense. I asked if a courier could be sent as I'm disabled andice alone, can't carry it. The long and the short was I had to sort it myself, no assistance or care whatsoever. Will never shop with them again.
Purchase fell through at last minute, wasted my time
I contacted them via email to enquire about buying a bed for my disabled mum and it took a lot of emails to get them to give us the combination that we had been loaned by the local authority previously.
It was only at the point when I was going to pay them that they suddenly turned around and stated that they would be unable to palletise the order, thus making it impossible to freight forward it on to us.
I would have preferred saving all the wasted correspondence and just be told at the outset that they either could not, or did not want to waste time in fulfilling a corner case kind of order.
What a pity that the sales people are not willing to go the extra mile to get their products out into the market place where they might get good reviews if the products are any good.
An Occupational therapist's review
They sent a quote for parts which are not compatible, then refused to let us return the wrong bedrails for the bed.
Furthermore they sent an engineer who signed off the bed a fully functional, despite the rails not being fully attached. Appalling rude customer service. I had the engineer be sent out again who under my supervision could see the bed is not safe.
No apology. No returns. And no care for their vulnerable clients. Avoid.
Poor customer service
We ordered a profiling bed and mattress to be delivered and installed, costing nearly £1800. I called and checked it had battery back up - I was told they came like that “as standard”. It arrived, was installed and didn’t have battery backup. I called to ask if the wrong bed was delivered, and was told that what we were told was wrong and it is an extra £240 for the battery back up - but can’t be retrofitted so would need a change of full bed and to pay more. They admitted to giving the wrong information but still wouldn’t change it for free. Terrible service and won’t be recommending to the vast amount of families and businesses we know now.
Bought a mattress for a electric bed
Bought a mattress for a electric bed, it looked the business watched the video and looked like what we wanted, turns out very poor, no support to calfs and heels, ended up with sores back of legs as no support, the tubes never inflate for support, Nothing like the video, I sent in photos of lower legs and feet in a dip, heels on base, firm says that's how it is says it looks ok. After waiting for replies Im now out of the returns time limit. Poor service. Poor product. £557.00. Ok so decided to get rid of the mattress, took cover off to dismantle it (couldn't sell and charity shops didn't want it) looking at the tubes I found a VALVE had been installed wrong way round hence no air flow, emailed seller and not heard anything back, my request for who makes the mattress has fallen on deaf ears, very poor service.

I ordered a bathlift to replace an old one. This arrived promptly but I had difficulty assembling it. When I contacted the customer service team, they were extremely helpful and emailed me instructions to resolve the problem within half an hour. Great service.
