I ordered a subscription which after five months never arrived. During this period I've inquired kindly and the replies have all turned out to be lies. They said they had "escalated the problem with the publisher" but I have been in contact with that publisher and they assured me they have no affiliation with magsstore.com. I have repeatedly requested a refund which they won't provide.

I ordered a book on their website and received a confirmation email that it would be shipped in 2-5 business days and still haven't received my book. That's 41 days ago!!!!!

My mother used this site to order a gift subscription to a magazine for me. It was an “all access” subscription so included digital access, newsletter emails, etc. all of the emails have been sent to her account and not to my email. I never received an email letting me know of the gift. Per Magsstore.com’s website, I should have received an email with a voucher or something like that to allow me to initiate the subscription.
Additionally, although the magazine website states that if a subscription is made prior to April 8, that the first issue should mail on April 22, Magsstore.com is telling me that my first issue will arrive sometime in late May to early June. I’ll be waiting to see what happens there. Subscription was made on March 15.
They were also unable to tell me how to link the subscription to an account on the magazine’s wed site to access additional online content.
During my online “chat” with the company, each question/concern had to be stated three times in order to get an adequate response.
So not a complete scam, but not working the way it should and unsure if it will actually be fixed.

They are a scam. I never received one thing from them so called to cancel. Talked to a REALLY NASTY woman who said she canceled it but now MONTHS later my bank account has been charged another $30. I can't get a response from anyone.

First time customer here. Over the years I have purchased a lot of books from a lot of places. Books varying in easy to find/mainstream to harder to find/rare. As a first time customer my experience described below ensures that The Magstore is a places I won’t be purchasing from again.
I ordered a a very high demand book from them at the end of November. The book was advertised as “in stock when purchased. I received no confirmation email for my order or any type of communication. I emailed them 8 days after my order and was told the book was currently out of stock and I was assured that it would be shipped and fulfilled before any orders after mine at the end of the month. The end of the month is here. Again nada. Nothing. Zero, Zilch. No email about my order. I emailed
A second time and was told that the book had since sold out and the way it was said gave me the impression that it was the second time it had sold out quickly.
I was told it would be February before the book was restocked and shipped. After another back and forth and with zero effort on their part the solution was “ cancel the order.”
