My wife just came home with apples purchased from Loblaws located at St. Clair and Spadina in Toronto. The inside of the apples were mushy. This is apple season in Canada, this should not happen. Absolute garbage!

I recently bought the PC Turkey Pie Frozen. It was awful. The picture shows chunks of turkey in it and it looks great. Reality is that the product is made from ground turkey and has no taste to it. Never buy this product again and i would not recommend it to anyone to purchase.

Loblaws is insulting the customers…

Loblaws is insulting the customers intelligence by claiming 7.00 is a sale price for a 375 g pack of bacon (reg 8.99) when Giant Tiger sells a better quality pack for 3.77 and their own Shoppers store sells a larger 500g pack for 4.99 on the weekend.

Recently shopped at Loblaws at Bayview…

Recently shopped at Loblaws at Bayview a Sheppard. I backed onto designated parking spot and as i watched my camera i heard the shattering of glass. I stopped my SuV and went to see what happened. Much to my surprise i discovered that a metal fan structure secured to the concrete wall that jutted out about 5 ft above ground level took out my SUV’s back windshield. No signage or any attempt to warn customers anywhere to be seen. I would attach pictures if i could. I went to the customer survice desk snd waited for 20 minutes , no one showed up, the same thing happened the next day.

Worst customer service I have ever…

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. This company does not care about customer satisfaction. Even contacted the head office and got the same response as the store. They do not care. They only care about profits and inflating food prices. I will take my business elsewhere like co-op or Walmart.

Ultra Filthy Men's Bathroom

I went to the men's bathroom this past week and one urinal was out of commission and I had to stand in a pool of urine on the floor at the second urinal. Also no hand towels in dispenser. This was at Superstore on Rochdale Blvd in Regina Sk. Then as had many other men,I proceeded to shop in the produce area as I tracked urinal on the sales floor. Why? Do you not have your staff check the bathroom for cleanliness regularly so this does not happen. Bathrooms in this store are often quite bad, this time it was insanely gross. And to think we are tracking pee all over the store. Good job Real Canadian Superstore! Call me if you wish 250 766 2687 Ken

Outrageously Priced Greedy Store

Outrageous. Their "loaves" of bread have shrunk to 1/2 normal sizes. They expanded the health food aisles and doubled the prices!! Never see children in there with their parents because they cannot afford Loblaws food.

Will never give them another penny!

Horrible service, incompetence and thievery

AVOID PC Express delivery! They've fired all of their Canadian staff, farmed out their service to a clown show called "Instacart" and replaced their staff with "temporary foreign workers". This has created a customer service nightmare.

First of all, their incompetent staff forgot to bill me for an order I placed TWO MONTHS AGO. I thought it was paid because they monkey around with people's bank accounts, imposing multiple "authorization holds" and then refunding them. It's nearly impossible to track what's paid and what isn't.

Then, without warning, today they plundered my bank account of the money I was saving to buy groceries for the rest of the month. Now I have to buy groceries on a credit card when I only use the card for emergencies.

Speaking of incompetence, it's nearly impossible to get them to cash in PC points on delivery orders. It doesn't matter that you specify you want to redeem your points while placing the order, because one of their non English speaking troglodytes has to ring in the redemption manually. Which means it doesn't get done.

Then there's the USELESS delivery service. First of all they send you a text telling you your order has been delivered when they haven't even left the warehouse yet. Then when they finally arrive (usually an hour after the delivery window), the Instacart clown show gives them the wrong address or doesn't provide the apartment number. So they call multiple times on the building intercom when they have your phone number, asking for your apt number. Except - no English skills again. So they don't understand a simple apartment number.

I order delivery because I'm disabled and can't carry groceries anymore. When the troglodyte doesn't understand my apartment number I'm forced to go down to the lobby from the 16th floor using a walker to pick up and deliver my own groceries, when I paid $9.99 plus $5 tip to have them delivered to my door. Last time it took three trips to get my groceries upstairs. Then when I unpacked my groceries I found broken eggs and a leaking milk carton.

Then there's the order picking. Lack of English means they don't understand half of your order and just throw random items in. When placing an order we're supposed to indicate substitution preferences. Now it's a waste of time because once again the TFW's don't have the English skills and can't understand your preferences. So you get a lot of crap you can't use. To make matters worse they often choose items that cost a lot more than what you ordered. $10 in unwanted and expensive items was added to my order this last time.

Finally there's the arrogant customer "service". I called them and got a message to use their new wonderful chat feature where I could chat with a live person. That's bull, their chat is just a bot that takes you around in circles, making irate customers even more mad.

Using their website I tried to complain about the milk and eggs, several expensive items in my order that I couldn't use which were substituted for things I did want, and I wanted the delivery fee back. They also refused to cash in my $30 in points.

I was told by email to send pictures of everything (how do you send a photo of a bad delivery? Or uncashed points?). They refused refunds for the delivery and refused to credit the points for my order. Then they only refunded one grocery item at a time. I had to file a new complaint for each item. It ended up taking a week just to get less than $50 out of them. I'm sure that's deliberate.

Needless to say, Loblaw won't be getting another dime out of me. I don't support thieves who only hire useless foreign slave labour when Canadians need the jobs.

Was at the wonderland /Southdale location Aug 19 at 12:20 pm. Went to cashier at lane 1-12 items or less. Very slow service, brutal the amount of time it took to ring through our 2 items. Lady should not have been working cash. Very frustrating, didn't get her name but she had glasses on a big white bandage on her nose. I feel she needs to stock shelves vs ring people through at a snails pace.

**Avoid Loblaws PC Express Delivery

**Avoid Loblaws PC Express Delivery: A Cautionary Tale**

**July 31, 2024**

Today, I want to share an incredibly frustrating experience I had with Loblaws' PC Express delivery service. If you're considering using them, think twice.

**The Incident:**
Without any prior warning or justification, Loblaws PC Express canceled our order. This wasn't just a minor inconvenience; it completely upended our plans. We had meticulously arranged for the groceries to be delivered to our boat, coordinating several moving parts to ensure everything would go smoothly. Loblaws' abrupt cancellation threw all of these plans into disarray.

**The Impact:**
1. **Total Disruption:** The sudden cancellation left us scrambling. With no time to make alternative arrangements, our entire day was wasted.
2. **Lack of Communication:** The most infuriating part was the lack of explanation. We were left in the dark, with no understanding of why our order was canceled.
3. **Customer Service Failure:** This experience highlighted a significant failure in Loblaws' customer service. When we needed support, they were nowhere to be found.

**Final Thoughts:**
I will never use Loblaws PC Express delivery service again, and I urge others to reconsider if they’re thinking about relying on them for grocery delivery. The inconvenience and frustration simply aren't worth it. There are other services out there that prioritize their customers and provide reliable, consistent service. Don't make the same mistake I did – avoid Loblaws PC Express.

Bought PC Pepper Dip 2 weeks in a row

Bought PC Pepper Dip 2 weeks in a row. Both times like water. Have bought this product for years and lived it till now. Called the 1-888 number and expressed my concern and was told to retun to store for exchange or refund. I have worked in customer service all my life and would never tell consumer get in car and ho yo store for refund. The product should be delivered to my home or a coupon given to me through the mail to by it again. Why should customer have to do gge work. O never messed up with product. I am done with PC products.

I boycott your stores for several reasons. High prices with poor quality and you sell rotten produce, meat, and seafood. I’ve also had no response from your customer service because they probably get nothing but complaints. I really hope you go out of business soon.

Size matters- Large Red Shopping Carts are Not Practical

I primarily use a Loblaws in Halifax, Nova Scotia that is quite small and very central to a particular neighborhood. For sometime now, the store has insisted on providing only very large red carts while only having six small carts in the entire store. Several of those six don’t work. After talking to the manager he informed me that the head office will not send a significant number of smaller carts. They insist on sending large red carts. I have been in some of the larger superstores in Halifax and what I see there is many many more smaller carts. The Quinpool Halifax store is one of the smallest Loblaw stores in town. The space is not designed to have 30 large red carts banging into each other in aisles and in lines. The need for smaller carts is being ignored. Today staff told me that the head office wants to phase out the smaller carts. Yet almost nobody needs to use those very large red carts, unless doing an extremely large grocery shopping. There is a lack of consideration for elderly people and people who have less ability to control those very large carts. They are very difficult to steer and control in limited space. They can’t be turned around. There is simply not enough space to make 95% of all the carts in the Quinpool Loblaws store in Halifax work. There appears to be a lack of attention to consumer need and preference in this situation. I even heard from staff today that they may want to have these large large carts to encourage peoples to spend more money. Loblaws has come under significant critique over this past year over their security issues, and by some over the increasing reliance on self-serve checkouts, taking jobs of cashiers alongside not hiring full-time cashiers. Loblaws concern for their profit margin, may well be at the expense of its actual customers. There are other options for people in our city to do their groceries. I am only guessing, but I’m pretty sure that your store decision-makers probably don’t use these ridiculously large red carts themselves. Literally no one would choose to use them unless they were doing an extremely large grocery shopping. Consumer, comfort, consumer accessibility, consumer need all require far more attention here. Bottom line, deciding you’re going to get rid of small carts and only have enormous carts when a store does not have the actual spatial capacity, in addition to the actual needs of consumers makes literally no sense. The manager at the Quinpool store reported to me that he has requested more small carts and made clear the needs of the store. The staff and customers also agree as well there needs to be more small carts. Head office has been informed about these needs and has decided to ignore them. I will stop using Loblaws and use Sobeys if this continues. I intend to continue to raise this issue in every venue possible until it’s addressed.

Due to price fixing (illegal) and…

Due to price fixing (illegal) and blatant price gouging (also supposedly illegal) practices being the norm for the criminal weston family Enterprises along with many other standard practices which are immoral, unethical and obscene (just scroll through the hundreds of 1 star reviews for an idea) I joined in the boycott of everything weston owned for may, very quickly I found a multitude of alternatives (many small independently owned grocers who actually appreciate customers and provide good food at decent prices instead of garbage at massively inflated prices) and moving forward I plan on continuing my boycott for life. And I live directly beside a no frills, which.....is exceptionally bad at price gouging (main street in winnipeg mb)

Canada will improve dramatically if this criminal enterprise goes 100% bankrupt and that horrid family is placed on the streets where they belong. The owner, Galen, even named his multi million dollar yacht "bread" as a way of giving the finger to tax payers after he made millions off of price fixing bread for over 15 years (illegal activity which was not punished in any way shape or form)

Absolutely disgusting, boycott anything loblaws forever.

Unresolved technical issue 3 weeks so far

It's been 3 weeks now and a technical issue is still unresolved with PC Express I went to place my regular order and my account was disabled so I had to call customer service they then sent me an email back saying that they disabled my account and it was resolved and I could go ahead and make the order well it's two weeks later over two dozen contacts emails calls and chats and nobody has helped me yet I made two calls to head office and after 9 days someone did finally call me back but it's been another 3 days with no progress. I have experience some bad customer service in my life but this takes the cake 3 weeks later on a technical issue that they caused and no one has helped me and it remains unresolved. Am I supposed to just cancel my account and never use PC Express again? I'm at my wit's end. This is absolutely unacceptable I wish I could give zero Stars.

Loblaws is a perfect example of Corporate Greed

Loblaws/Provigo is a perfect example of Corporate Greed. Many of the large Loblaws stores closed in Quebec claiming they weren’t making money. Correct. Shoppers went elsewhere. I hear there is a Boycott going on. I’d rather see the company close for good. They are hated.
