Have had an ongoing saga with the Ripon branch which is still unresolved . I have been with Linley and Simpson for a long time but have now changed estate agents . Miscommunication , errors on quotes , too many different people to deal with for the same issue and contractors used that are not local and who give misinformation . Will not use again.

Having to fight to get my deposit back, unsubstatiated claim against my deposit with no evidence provided. It's been almost a month and a half. This company is laughable, they are purely incapable of managing properties. We had so many issues with them during our tenancy. If you have a choice don't rent with them.

The staff at this agency go the extra mile to look after their clients.
Of particular note, Wendy Passmore and Paula Dunham made our life very easy by delivering on what they promised. Not a common experience in today’s world.

Lynley & Simpson in Harrogate have sold 2 houses for my partner and myself recently with no issues at all. They got us both a good price in very little time and were very professional and friendly in their dealings with us. Their Sales Progressors (Cal Siswick and Courteney) in York have been a massive support in terms of communicating with solicitors and other people in the chain which has made a big difference when negotiating the stressful phases of exchange and completion.

I was in contact with Lauren at the Sheffield office, who was very helpful especially as I was unable to visit the properties in person (my issue!). Smooth process and helpful move in. The property itself did need some cleaning upon move in, though that is likely more due to the nature of the house share as opposed to the agents!

As you can see by the other horrific reviews on this company, do not make the mistake of renting with these awful, unprofessional people. They will rob, harass, bully and intimidate you relentlessly and will NOT stop. Stay clear and save yourself the trouble.

Avoid unless you want to be completely robbed at the end of your tenancy. They don’t care at all about tenants and lack basic human decency

I have been and I am extremely impressed with the property maintenance service provided to me by Paula Dunham. She is prompt and incredibly helpful with communicating and updating faults/repairs required in my properties.

You can tell from her telephone communication skills that she listens, professional, understanding and very supportive. She is approachable, friendly, kind and a pleasure to communicate with.

Had a really great experience today at our house viewing. This is our second viewing with Linley & Simpson and both employees were fantastic. Thank you Richard and Izabela!
