My employer, Microsoft, decided to move pension management from Fidelity to Lifesight. I had 3 questions regarding the move and they were dealt with brilliantly by Rosie, who was professional but personable, knowledgeable, and answered them completely. NOTE: This review concerns ONLY my call with her - I have not had other experience of LifeSight yet.
For the benefit of others transferring in, I found the following:
(1) when adding a beneficiary, it said there was an error but didn't highlight any field in the form which was the problem. On retrying without anything in the remarks field, it worked. So, a website weakness. Can't see why Remarks was a problem - it hadn't told me. The only punctuation I'd used was percentage sign and hyphen.
(2) She told me that because I was coming from such a big employer, I couldn't see my full pension on the LifeSight website as it would take some months to do the transfer. Can't say if this is down to Microsoft, Fidelity or LifeSight.

This company are pretty useless and I’m disappointed that my previous employer use them. Wanted to drawdown of some funds last year, it took me approximately 3 months to get my money! Decided this year to take some more, completed the online forms and duly waited for my money to arrive within the 10 working days stated. On the 11th working day after no money in my account, I contacted them. I was told by the lady I spoke to that they could see the request, but it hadn’t come through to the right place. Checked with her if I’d done something wrong on line, she said no, it just hadn’t been picked up. I asked how we solved that, she said I could either re do it online or she could pull the original one through, I asked her to do that. She said she would but again it would be another 10 working days. So if i receive the money when they say they will it will be basically be a month since I requested it. But I’m not holding my breath I will get it. Absolutely no trust in them whatsoever.

I wanted to change my investment funds and move to drawdown. Everything was online and really straightforward to do. My investments were switched in a day and the drawdown application was simple to do and didn’t need me to send any documents anywhere. A first class service.

Where has the draw down withdrawal tab went. It says it is no longer available, so how do you withdraw money now? No reply from them with email.
Update,
I phoned them yesterday and got things rolling. It seems to be a glitch and they are working on it.

Spoke with Rosie at Lifesight and she went the extra mile to unlock my account to and sort out my login details.
Excellent customer service and friendly helpful lady. Was very pleased.

I needed my login details so I phoned the helpline and got through to a lovely lady who was very helpful and got me the right information quickly and now I can login and check my Pension easily. Well done.

Have been struggling to log into my pension account for sometime and was extremely frustrated by the whole thing! I rang and spoke to a lady called Rosie who was so patient with me. Her calm manner and straightforward instructions were easy to follow and she kept on the phone with me until I was able to log into everything I needed. Rosie, you are a credit to your Company. Thankyou so much! 5 stars!!!!

I contacted Lifesight Pensions, in regards to my pension accounts. I spoke with Rosie who was a absolute credit to the company and herself. Rosie was professional, very knowledgeable, patient and polite.
The help and assistance I experienced today was exemplary. Thank You Rosie

I've had a small and pension with Lifesight from a previous company and I decided to move it to another provider. Total headache!! The whole process took over 1 YEAR with me having to continuously chase this up. I asked Lifesight and the other company to look into why it took so long and the response I got was basically both companies have spent 6 months arguing amongst themselves. I really thought both pension companies were adult enough to sort this amongst themselves but clearly no. Lifesight (of course) have taken no responsibility and I'm just so glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. Take your pension elsewhere (but not to the other company either because they are just as bad!)

I rang Lifesite Pensions today as I had some queries regarding my pension. I spoke to Rosie who was extremely helpful, patient and polite. She took the time to answer all my questions and go through the paperwork with me. Her customer service was excellent. It was a pleasure talking to her and I am grateful for her help.

Why Santander has chosen this company for their employees company pension scheme is a mystery, just look at their Trust pilot Rating. I have had an ongoing complaint for 3 months regarding the withdrawal of part of my pension which proved difficult and contradictory. I did get the money but the service was poor, in one case a product was at the point of signing that would have lost my 25% tax free benefit going forward, quite a financial loss but luckily I knew exactly what I wanted and that was corrected. The other issue was that the. sum sent was lower than predicted as 40% tax was applied for a lump sum although this 10k sum was in the last month of the financial year, something my other pension providers did not do. These items where initially queried with a response from Emma with no breakdown as requested and a general statement that you got your money in the end and contact HRMC, not the most customer caring approach but I guess correct in a way. The complaint continued but be aware of the 2 ring phone call, if you don't pick up then it's on you for not being available and your complaint will not be pursued. There have been endless attempts since March to get to the point where as of yesterday I understand the underpayment of the cash and yes I did think that I would be compensated for the misinformation and general poor customer service but it seems that won't be the case. This has dragged on far too long so hence the review,
