Do not use this product! I had to go to A&E to get it removed. It maybe easy to insert but it is not easy to remove and could not hook my finger over the rim at all. All my efforts to removed seemed to be pushing it further and further in. I gave up after a couple of hours of attempting to remove and ended up at A&E for several hours. The nurse took about 20 mins to remove and had to get different forceps to be able to gain any traction on it. She said that there was no way I would have been able to remove it myself and that it was very dangerous for women to be using as there was nothing to pull on to remove.
Absolute nightmare and when I reached out to customer service they took ages to respond and not in a satisfactory manner.
I would advise anyone against buying this product as it only takes once to accidentally push it in to far and you end up in A & E
The claim that you can have sex with this cup seems very far fetched as wouldn’t that push it in too far to retrieve along with the man still being able to feel it.

Product is extraordinarily difficult to get out. And when you reach out to customer service for help, all they do is ask many intrusive questions And offer absolutely no help. Not a stitch. But they like to say they do... again and again. Product is ugh but customer service, wayyyy worse! I'd rather buy from a company that helps me troubleshoot a concern rather than interrogate me about it only to still offer to advice. Never again.

SCAM - no delivery, terrible customer service. Fobbing me off constantly. Really disappointing. Do not engage with this company.

I had been using the Nixit menstrual cup for over a year and initially loved it. However, after following their claim that it is “safe to use during sex” and that it “is non suction,” I had a terrifying experience.

The cup became lodged around my cervix and I could not remove it myself. I spent five hours in A&E, where a nurse, doctor, and eventually a gynaecologist made several attempts before it was finally removed. The cup had to be destroyed in the process. This was painful, frightening, and incredibly distressing.

I contacted Nixit to report this. They sent a replacement cup but failed to answer my questions about:
• Whether this has happened to others
• Their internal review or medical oversight
• If they plan to update their claims or warnings

Eventually, they stopped responding to my follow-up email altogether.

I feel their claims about safe use during sex are misleading and dangerous. While I had liked this product before, this experience has completely shaken my confidence. Until Nixit is more transparent about risks and revises their guidance, I cannot recommend it.

If I could have scored zero stars I would have.

I placed an order two months ago - it never arrived. I never received a dispatch notification. I never received a tracking number.

I notified Nixit 12 days after it was marked delivered on my shop account - they asked me to wait a few more days & at that time advised it had been delivered by Evri.

I confirmed lack of receipt again, & requested replacement & compensation.
Nixit informed me I need to sign an affidavit to proceed - on the affidavit they want additional personal information that was not needed to process the payment transaction but would be sufficient PII as to allow identity theft. I declined to give this information, & signed the affidavit using my name & delivery/billing address - i.e., the same information they needed to process the payment.

They are refusing to proceed without further personal information.

To date I am £60 down & have no products.

Appalling customer service. I am no longer interested in replacement & want a refund only.

This company lacks integrity. Don’t waste your time or money.

Very messy, leaking, not doing what they promise. Bell shaped cups are so much better. I sent them a complain and they haven’t replied yet. So disappointed

This disc is a game changer. I did a lot of research on this and was very hesitant, if it didn't work out it would be a lot of money. Saying that if it did then it's worth every penny, it is!
I'd used the tulip cup before when I had a holiday to centre parks and swimming would be involved. I don't like the idea of wearing a tampon swimming so I tried the tulip. Whilst it did the job, I found it difficult to use and very uncomfortable.
I then went on to reusable sanitary towels which I used for about 5-6 years and have replaced along the way. Way more absorbant and comfortable than disposables so no worries of the leaks of the past. I was also concerned about the impact to the environment when throwing them away.
What brought me to Nixit was an up coming holiday where my period would fall on right in the middle. I don't want to be restricted and I'm due to replace my towels again. Price wise they aren't too dissimilar. Nixit came up on my feed and so I started to look into it. Reviews seemed mixed, with some saying it's the best thing ever and others struggling with using it. After a month of research and yet another month of cleaning the reusables, I thought I'd take the plung. So mucht so I went straight in and used it right away on the first day of my period.
Took me a couple of goes to get it into the right place, so I wore panty liners just in case. But it only took a couple of goes, reinsert if I had a leak and by day 3 and my heaviest day, I had the hang of it. No leaks, can't feel it. I'm now just into day 3 of my second cycle with it and I've had no leaks and no issues. I'm very happy and will now throw away my reusables. No going back no looking back.
I also found the tips and advise, if you have leaks to begin with, very helpful and they worked for me. If anything my only concern is that i might forget its in.
I have heavy periods but I have no issues keeping this in for 12hours.

Seriously worth a try if this is the road you're looking to go down.

Bonus! No leaks so far, I was feeling very pessimistic after having read the most recent reviews but so far had no leaking issues. It's very comfortable once in and only have to clean it in the morning and evening so overall pleased as I have used cups before and this is much more comfortable.

Downsides are, the instructions that come with it are absolutely awful and give barely any indication of how to correctly fit it, would advise to use the videos on the website before trying to put it in the first time.

Emptying it so far has been a very messy affair and I'm, luckily only do this at home, bit would not want to do this in a public place

It feels quite big so I struggle a bit to insert it, and would definitely not dream of being intimate whilst using one.

Overall this works for me on a day to day, but there are things that could definitely be improved

This is a huge and leaky menstrual disc. If you email support, you basically get stuck talking to an AI that won’t stop trying to troubleshoot no matter how many times you say it’s too big and doesn’t fit. They just keep cycling through vague anecdotes like “many users have had success with…” followed by random breadcrumbed tips spread out across several emails.

The instructions are also weirdly indirect—their AI marketing team keeps referring to an "auto-dump feature" that I’m pretty sure I experienced in a public bathroom, where a slight shift of the disc caused everything to dump onto my hands. Very messy and embarrassing. I had to wait for the bathroom to clear up before I left the stall. Instead of using actual medical terms, they tell you to “bear down” instead of just saying use your pelvic floor muscles. The overall experience is needlessly cryptic.

If you’re wondering why you don’t see many critical reviews, it’s because they delete Instagram comments that mention anything negative. I responded to a few people’s questions honestly, and they removed almost all of them except one. Be aware that the feedback you're seeing is curated.

For $50 this is not worth it at all.

Don’t buy this product. It leaks and you can’t move around without it moving so you’ll be worried all the time.

I’m amazed Nixit claims one size fits all. As a women-supporting company, such an inaccuracy is disappointing. I struggled to use Nixit for days, full of pain, jamming, leaking, and popping out at the least movement. Nixit support insisted I was simply inserting it wrong. I’ve since bought a Lumma, which offers a smaller size, and it inserts and stays in pain-free, despite the more rigid design. Reviewing here as I don’t see any options to review my order on the Nixit or Shop portals.

I've been using a nixit disc for about a year, and it's been a game changer for me. I love that it's reusable, 12-hour wear, hands free emptying, no suction. I tried cups in the past and could not make them work for me, and the disc is so much easier (to me, at least!) If my cramps aren't too bad, I occasionally legit forget I'm on my period sometimes. I can't recommend it enough.

If you can get past the little bitty learning curve of getting it out (in is sooo easy!!) then you will NEVER look back after buying a Nixit. No smell. No dampness. No leaks. Less need to change it out. And you cannot feel it AT ALL once it is in. I LOVE my Nixit!

I’m a first time user and I have to confess I was pretty scared of using it, but all the content shared on social media helped me a lot with understanding how to insert it, take it put and everything else. I’ve always been terrified of tampons so my go to where the pads, but sometimes they ended up giving me a rash or an allergic reaction. Now I feel that nixit will give me some peace of mind and stop worrying about leaks in my sleep and the days of not going to the beach because I was on my period are over!!

The first day was a bit complicated and confusing, but on day 2 of my period I managed to insert it properly and it was amazing!!! Still learning how to take it out without creating a mess, but hey they say it can take you 3 cycles to do it right!!

I saw an ad for Nixt when I was pregnant and immediately starting looking into it. I knew I was tired of paying for tampons so I wanted something reuseable. This was super easy to use and get the hang of. I recommend it to all my girlfriends now

I was a little wary about trying Nixit due to bad experiences with the suction-style menstrual cups, but really happy I tried it! I had been using reusable pads, but needed something more discreet for some trips and my wedding. Really easy to use and, after a few practises, I was able to insert and remove it with no trouble. I have heavy periods and an active lifestyle so was worried about leaks, but had no issues at all (even overnight). I have been swimming with it too, and had no leaks. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative to traditional menstrual cups or pads.

Great concept but a variety of sizes would be a more realistic approach. Unfortunately, the nixit kept popping out and leaking as it was too large. It also pressed and made me feel like I needed to pee / be sick. I ended up getting the saalt teen cup which is a way better fit for me.

Omg I love it! I don’t feel I am in period!

It’s easy to insert it, just make sure to tuck it. (Nixit has several videos that explain the process). When you need to remove push it out so it’s easier to catch it.

Another tip, when you remove it and insert it again clean any blood that has licked during this process - so your underwear will stays clean.

Don't bother unless you want your bathroom to look like a scene from the Texas Chainsaw massacre

I have been using Nixit for over a year now and will never go back to anything else. I am more comfortable on my period, I feel cleaner and safer, and a big bonus is that it is an eco-friendly product! Highly recommend :)
