The company prides itself in finding those with university or work who want to make extra money a nannying site to look after children. I passed the checks and made a profile and could start looking for families right away.

They don't tell you that families, tend to ghost you and don't respond. I used Koru kids for 4 months and most families wouldn't even bother to respond to my message and interviews would lead to nothing. The company would just send you the typical PR response of "families are busy" but when most don't respond its more than just busyness.

I left the site after finding work elsewhere. the site can work for other people but the model of the site disadvantages nannies more than the parents. Wouldn't join koru kids again imo.

Process is smooth , transparent and effective. Ade, is an absolute gem and we are so grateful for her help.

Getting set up with Koru Kids was so lengthy and convoluted. I also received some emails with either incorrect information or broken links and had a fault with my account, which took weeks to fix. I'm an experienced Ofsted registered Nanny so the registration shouldn't have been so complicated. I have also just found out via a friend that the company removed approximately £4 per hour from the rate charged to families even though they state they don't make anything from the agreement. The positives were, friendly communication, lovely families, access to varied information on the websites. Overall it's way to time consuming and convoluted and I got taxed as a second income which lowered my payment rate even more. I'll most likely source my own clients in future. Sorry Koru Kids

I have worked with a lot of families,it sure helps them to be with there children while they work and at home ,you can keep in contact with the parents while they are at work with little messages.koru are the best for help support and being there for there nannies and family .

I applied to work with them recently. They literally say in the process it’s ok if you have zero experience or your experience is with watching family children (there’s multiple choice questions asking this). They don’t make it clear until the end that using your family member as a ref means your application will be rejected (I had to go into the FAQ’s to find this and right at the end of the reference form there is a sentence mentioning it can’t be a family member) but they insist you use someone who has first hand experience of you watching children. I mentioned from the get go in the relationship to me box that this was my cousin (it’s his children I’ve watched mainly) and they imply that watching your family’s children are ok and insist on using someone who has first hand experience of you watching children so I wasn’t sure what to do. I immediately contacted support this morning and they were like no sorry you’re rejected and can’t reapply or add another reference, you said you were being truthful and you’ve not been truthful. At no point did I lie - I said it was my cousin and it is my cousin? I’m not a liar, in fact I’ve been penalised for being too honest. So because of a clerical issue - they have now missed out on someone who is responsible, prompt and actually cares about people. And they were rude about it. I’ve read many reviews saying your Nannie’s are unreliable - this is clearly why! You value clerical errors in a process over actual people and how good they will be at the job.

So easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. I managed to get a job very quickly through the app and with lovely families. I have been working with them for just over a month and find the process of recording shifts and expenses extremely straightforward.

I am a parent who tried to use korukids to find after school nanny. The website is really well designed and it conveys the idea of a very smooth process. However, this is not what I experienced. Two nannies did not show at the interview without previous notice and without apologies. Another candidate requested to delay the trial due to a cold but she eventually informed that she was no longer interested in childcare. I would expect the platform to encourage candidates to be honest with the families and be transparent about their commitment. I think that platforms that directly connect parents to nannies like nannyjob.co.uk or childcare.co.uk provide better service.

I been with Koru kids for years as after school nannie, I always had a massive support, the team are excellent with prompts responses if asked any thing.

I have become a nanny for the first time all thanks to Koru kids. They have made it so easy for me to join and I have felt held and supported the whole way. The website/ systems/ app are amazing and it all feels very smooth and organised which makes my job a lot easier! They are always checkin in on me to see how I'm doing and it feels like there are lots of opportunities for more work if I wanted it.

Great alongside university or if you’re interested in part time work (with interest in childcare of course). The hours are flexible and the families picked by Koru Kids are great!

Koru Kids is an excellent Nanny service and a very simple website and App to navigate through. Just interacted with an agent on LiveChat and it was very quick and ease. The agent with very quick at responding and was able to resolve my call with no issues.
