The members of staff at Knights Solicitors are excellent, particularly Sally Peake and Louise Nunns. Their communication skills were always prompt, answering emails and phone calls straight away. They dealt with any queries quickly. I was kept inform at all times, Very Professional and knowledgeable giving good advice where necessary. I felt I was a valued client, not just a number.

You have their full attention, covering legal aspects of transferring a property, with guidance all the way.

IBB Law now Kinghts completely messed up a straight forward cash purchase and lease extension. Took forever, lost us the lease extension, incorrectly served notices, accepted no responsibility and caused significant consequential losses. They failed to follow the correct legal process and have now messed us around without settlement for three years racking up huge legal costs. The partner responsible should be fired for his shocking mismanagement of the staff involved and failure on the process. IMHO he acted improperly and without proper care and diligence and bad advice. When he realised the mess up he dropped us as clients and fired the issue off to the IBB liability insurer’s solicitor who have charged person handling it numerous times trying to burn us out and bankrupt us through paying fees to fight them. Absolutely shocking experience - STAY AWAY from these crooks. UPDATE spoke to KNIGHTS Complaints team about IBB over a week ago and still had ZERO response.

Kate Herbert dealt with both the sale of my house and joint purchase of our new home. Can honestly say we only have great things to say about her and how she dealt with the entire process! She dealt with everything so quickly, answered any queries we had and everything felt like it had a nice personal touch. Having had a bad experience with a previous firm, I cannot recommend Knights enough and if you get the fortune of dealing with Kate you’re in a safe pair hands that will get the job done and then some! Company took over Rix and Kay in Uckfield in August and with this the secure storage of our LPA (power of attorney). Needed to urgently get hold of the documents due to a medical emergency with my dad. Never called me back for a day and then could not locate the documents for days. Rather than letting me know there could be an issue, they didn’t get in contact. Eventually the documents were found but then were sent to the wrong address.
Their systems for proving ID are antiquated compared to my normal solicitors where it is all online using facial recognition software. I would steer clear.

I am working with Jordan Oakes at Knights plc and he is absolutely great.

Working on a residential and multiple bridging loans Jordan is attentive and in constant control pushing for progress.

At the start of our moving journey we had wondered whether or not to use Knights as all our dealings over some years had been through IBB and we were concerned that the acquisition by Knights might have changed things. Our fears were soon allayed and the sale of our house, which had a complex interest, moved forward smoothly until the buyer's solicitor woke up at the eleventh hour and started to raise issues, perhaps to make up for his earlier lack of visibility to his high profile clients. The sale completion process was straightforward though we found the online paperwork took some getting used to. Completion of our purchase took place two weeks later and was similarly easy. Huge thanks to Gary and his team for their work on our behalf.

My house purchase was seamless, with great communication and everything explained well. We felt very well looked after. Katrina and Louise were one hand daily and very good with comms. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service, could not have completed our flat purchase without Joanne!

Earlier this year, we completed on our flat with Joanne Robinson as our conveyancer.
To say that the transaction was riddled with issues would be an understatement- disagreements concerning indemnities that were required, building works, a problematic seller, this purchase had it all.
Joanne was there for us at every step of the way. She was helpful, forthcoming, up front with information, and above all, honest. We felt that we could trust her with the biggest purchase of our lives, and we had confidence in her ability to make sure we were covered on all bases.
This confidence was not only tested before the purchase but even after- where we had to contact the seller several months later.
Joanne helped us with this and enabled us to reach the outcome that was previously agreed upon, all without charging us extra for the added hours she had to work on it.

We used Knights for our coveyancing. Nam Verma and Amanda Paardekooper were very impressive. Responsive, proactive and always willing to clarify any issues.

We found a house to purchase at auction and needed prompt legal advice prior to auction. Knights responded immediately. They then completed within 28 days. Always courteous, professional and responsive.

We started the process of probate and conveyancing with Rix & Kay, which then got transferred to Knights. The people I have dealt with throughout have been professional, knowledgable and easy to communicate with. They kept me in the loop, especially when the buyers went quiet on the house sale, but it did eventually complete. We had a few issues around probate being granted (due to an error at the probate office, not with Rix & Kay), and the lack of communication over the transfer to Knights, but I would definitely recommend this team to others.

I was aware at the outset that Knights were more expensive than many other companies offering conveyancing services, but I now feel it was definitely worth the extra outlay. Andrew Piggin handled my sale and purchase and throughout the process he could not have been more helpful, efficient and - crucially - available. Everything went through smoothly and I felt in safe hands at all times. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.
