Beware
Similar situation to others. They bid on my car via Carwow and inspection took place within a few business days. There were no issues as confirmed by the report. However, they then chipped the value down because another similar car had just come to market at a lower price than they had bid. I've sold loads of cars to Carwow and never experienced this before. It feels like they use the Carwow platform to win the bid, then employ underhand tactics to back out of the agreed price. I let Carwow know but wanted to feedback on here in case anyone else see's Kingsbridge as the winning bidder on their Carwow sale. Be very, very careful.
Update in light of the response received. The Carwow customer service advisor I spoke with said that dealers should not do what Kingsbridge did. Prices of other cars should not impact the price they already bid and agreed to pay, otherwise they can just bid high on Carwow, win the car, then adjust the price down upon collection, knowing customers may already be financially committed on their next car and wont want the hassle of relisting / taking time off work etc. Unfortunately, this is exactly what they did - this is clearly not the intended use of the Carwow platform and, based on my experience, is not how other dealers operate. Its possible that another dealer may have bid higher than the price they finally paid me, but now we will never know. Not an honest way to do business I'm afraid.

Thank you for your feedback. Our bid on Carwow was placed based on the information available at the time of the auction and, as with all Carwow purchases, remains subject to inspection and current market conditions at the point of purchase.
Shortly after the auction closed, a 2023 example of the same model with slightly higher mileage but the same Ultimate Pack specification was advertised by a BMW main dealer for £56,999 and included a BMW warranty. Your vehicle was out of manufacturer warranty, which does affect retail value in the current market.
As a dealer we must purchase vehicles at a level that allows for retailing costs, Carwow fees, transport, VAT, corporation tax, preparation, and sales costs, while still pricing the car competitively for retail. At the original bid level this would simply not have been possible.
Following this discussion you chose to accept a slightly reduced figure, which was still approximately £2,000 above the current trade/part-exchange value, offering significantly more than many dealers would typically pay. Once you confirmed you wished to proceed, payment was made immediately.
We purchase over 1,000 vehicles each year and have many long-standing customers who repeatedly choose to sell their vehicles to us. While it is not always possible to purchase every vehicle at the initial auction bid — as prices are subject to inspection, preparation requirements, and comparable vehicles currently advertised in the market — we always aim to be fair and to offer strong, competitive prices.

Kingsbridge and in particular Kimmo have been an absolute pleasure to deal with! Kimmo made contact in the first instance following my initial enquiry (which was responded to within a couple of hours), he described the car, took my part exchange details, went away did his homework and come back with a fair and reasonable offer against my chosen car. Kimmo went over and above to even provide a video walkaround of the car once it was prepped. He arranged me a viewing and test drive and all was ready to go and all very well organised for the test drive. He kept me informed throughout the week whilst the car was finally prepped and we discussed the various extended warranty options. Collection Day - again an absolute pleasure, well organised all ready to go. Kimmo was just what want a car salesman to be knows his stuff but allows you the time to think things through and make your own decision whilst being guided as required! 5 star delivery and service
I bought a BMW X3 from this dealership and dealt with Tee from start to finish. His open, honest and transparent approach was a breath of fresh air. Given that I was a distance buyer, I was happy to travel down to Stourbridge based on my experience dealing with Tee.
I was not disappointed. The vehicle was better than described and absolutely fulfilled ever that the guys had suggested it would.
Very rarely have I come across a car dealership that excels in terms of customer service and customer satisfaction. I absolutely would not hesitate to buy from Tee again. 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I put deposit on a car then pick up was delayed due to an issue
Then sales person I was dealing with left company!
A few phone calls later and Elliot took over the sale and promptly sorted everything out
any questions I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently

Exceptional Customer Service
I just bought a car from Kimmo today, and he provided an exceptional customer experience that went above and beyond. He reached out beforehand to check my arrival time and personally picked me up from the station after having travelled from London.

Great Service and Great People
